Hudson

Football has always been my future. I play hard, I have fun, and I never let anything throw me off course.
And then I met her. Daphne James. One night, no strings. Just her laughter, her lips, and the way she made me forget everything else. But by the next morning, she was gone.

Or so I thought.

Turns out, she’s a freshman here at Cedar Lakes. And when I find out her dad is my coach, staying away isn’t just smart, it’s survival. He’s made it clear that his daughter is off-limits. One wrong move, and I could lose everything I’ve worked for.
Until I can’t. Because she’s pregnant. With my kid.
I’ve spent my whole life chasing one dream. But suddenly, my future isn’t just mine anymore.

Daphne

For one night, I wanted to be reckless, to feel something outside of the pressure of being perfect. Hudson was supposed to be a secret, a memory. But secrets have a way of finding you again.
Two pink lines changed everything. And the last person I expected to see at Cedar Lakes was him, the guy who unknowingly changed my whole future.
We’re strangers and I never expected him to stick around. Yet he isn’t walking away. He’s persistent, funny, frustratingly charming, and refusing to let me do this alone.

Hudson might be everything I never planned for, but he’s also the one thing I might not be able to live without.

If I could give this book zero stars, I would. Pieces is a disaster from start to finish, both in terms of plot and writing. It’s the kind of book that makes you question whether the author has ever experienced the situations they’re writing about—because, based on this, I highly doubt it.

Let’s start with the concert scene, where Daphne and Hudson first meet. The author clearly has no idea what a concert is actually like because these two manage to have full-blown, coffee-shop-style conversations in the middle of it. No one goes to a concert to casually chat with their friend and then a random guy for minutes on end—especially not at a show loud enough to actually be a concert. Realistically, concert communication consists of a few shouted words and a lot of frantic hand gestures, not long-winded discussions. This was my first clue that realism was not a priority in this book.

Then there’s the absolute obsession with Daphne’s virginity. She first brings it up in a conversation with her friend (why? who knows), then later has sex with Hudson, who somehow doesn’t notice this supposed key detail. But instead of that being the end of it, the topic resurfaces in the most absurd way—when Daphne tells her brother over the phone that she’s pregnant, of course, Hudson just so happens to be standing there at the perfect moment to hear the whole thing. But don’t worry, the book doesn’t stop there with ridiculous coincidences. Finn, Daphne’s brother, is video chatting with her at the time and only after their entire conversation is over does he notice Hudson standing behind her in a packed parking lot. Suddenly, he decides this is creepy enough to call security? The level of convenience in these moments is laughable.

The pacing of this book is completely nonsensical. The first 10% is basically just a detailed play-by-play of Gracie Abrams’ concert setlist. Then, we somehow manage to spend half the book with Daphne being 12 weeks pregnant, only to suddenly fast-forward through the rest of her pregnancy at lightning speed. Instead of meaningful development, we just get a chapter opening that tells us what week she’s at, followed by a random sex scene. It’s like the author had no idea how to structure time in the story.

And let’s talk about the reaction to Daphne’s pregnancy. She’s 18. Fresh out of high school. Yet somehow, aside from her dad, everyone is just thrilled about this news. Why are we normalizing teen pregnancy like this? It’s unrealistic and ridiculous.

Then there’s her PR project, which is just another example of the author not doing basic research. Daphne’s project is supposedly about "women and sports" and somehow ties into motherhood. First of all, PR (public relations) is about managing communication, shaping public perception, and building brand or individual reputation. It involves things like media strategies, campaigns, crisis management, and messaging—not just vaguely discussing gender inequality in sports and interviewing an athlete who is a mom. That’s not PR. That’s a sociology or gender studies paper at best. And I know what I’m talking about because PR is literally my degree. The fact that this is treated as some brilliant PR thesis proves the author has no clue what the field even is.

The writing itself is painfully juvenile and full of inconsistencies. At one point, they claim they aren’t finding out the baby’s sex, yet they constantly refer to the baby as “she.” Then, when she’s giving birth, it’s suddenly a surprise again? Did anyone bother to read through this book before publishing it? And let’s not forget Hudson asking if the baby has gills and how it breathes in the womb. I—just—I have no words.

I finished this book purely out of spite, just so I could fully rant about how awful it is. Pieces is an incoherent, poorly written mess, and I would not recommend it to anyone unless you enjoy hate-reading.

spice level : 3/5 🌶️

I initially thought this was going to be Jay’s book, but it turned out to be about Hudson and Daphne, which was unexpected but still okay. Maybe I just didn’t remember much about them from the previous book.

Hudson is a football player at Cedar Lakes University, and Daphne is a freshman, who also happens to be the coach’s daughter. I really liked the beginning of the story, especially how they met outside of campus at a Gracie Abrams concert. Their relationship started off as instalust, which can sometimes be a turnoff for me, but in this case it was written well and felt realistic. I could genuinely feel their attraction. After spending one night together, Daphne ended up pregnant but they never exchanged anything personal—not even their last names. Fate (or the universe, if you will) later brought them back together, and surprise! Hudson was attending the same uni as Daphne. At this point, I couldn’t help but think they had some invisible strings tying them together LOL. As for Hudson’s reaction to the accidental pregnancy, it wasn’t the most ideal at first, but he quickly stepped up and took responsibility. He genuinely cared for Daphne throughout her pregnancy and honestly that was such a green flag moment for him. The spice was just okay, nothing too groundbreaking. I really enjoyed the first half of the book, but as I got further in the plot started to fall apart, and their relationship lost momentum. There wasn’t much new development between them which made the latter half feel a bit repetitive and less engaging.

Overall, it was a solid read with a strong start, but it didn’t quite maintain its energy throughout.

Where does one find a Hudson? Asking for a friend 👀 THIS MAN. He’s a walking green flag. He might just be my favourite MMC of this series so far 👏🏼

Meghan literally knocked this one out the park. I enjoyed every minute of reading and I have no faults. The tropes for this one instantly had me sold because I absolutely LOVE an accidental pregnancy and Meghan did this so well.
“Hey Booger” 🤭

“𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐦𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭.”

Hudson and Daphne had this instant connection when they had their little meet cute at a concert. Their chemistry and the banter between them was EVERYTHING. Soulmates in my opinion I adore them both, and our green flag guy was so attentive, supportive and just what Daphne needed 💕

“𝐍𝐨𝐰, 𝐈’𝐦 𝐧𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐰𝐛𝐨𝐲, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬. 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐭, 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫.”

One thing I love about this series is the friend group. The scrapbook club in particular and the way I giggled at Hudson getting mad about Jay taking his scrapbook tape 🤭 which was for a worthy cause IYKYK 🥹

It was a good book, I liked it.
Hudson is the greenest flag there is. My god, that guy was perfect. He was there for her, he stepped up (as he freaking should), he didn't pressure her, he listened to her, HE WAS PRESENT.
Daphne was a warrior, having a baby so young, that's brave, she wanted the baby and she was ready to do it alone. Thankfully, Hudson came to the rescue and was there in literally every step.
They were a very cute couple and mature for their age, what with the whole pregnancy they had to grow up fast

This book was such an emotional and heartwarming read! Accidental pregnancy is one of those tropes that can go either way for me, I either love it or hate it, but in this story, I absolutely loved it!

This book took me on such a great journey. It wasn’t perfect, but that’s exactly what made it feel so real and so them. Daphne is such a strong character: hardworking, determined, and a little too driven for her own good sometimes (honestly, I saw a lot of myself in her). When she found out she was pregnant, she didn’t run from her feelings. She followed her heart, trusting that with her best friend Liv and Hudson by her side, she could handle whatever came next.

And Hudson… I just love him. From the very beginning, you could feel how drawn he was to Daphne. The way he reacted when he found out she was pregnant completely melted me. He didn’t hesitate, he stepped up, made sure she knew he’d always be there for her and their baby (swoon). I also adored how he stood up for her, to her father/his coach, proving just how serious he was about being there for both Daphne and their baby.

Their love felt so genuine and earned. Watching them navigate the messiness, the uncertainty, and ultimately the deep connection they built together was so beautiful.

I didn't read the synopsis when I first picked up this book. I've always enjoyed books by Meghan. But I was quite hesitant about this book when I first started it. I don't mind an accidental pregnancy but it hits differently when it's in a college setting.
You follow Daphne, a college freshman and coach's daughter, and Hudson, who is on the college football team. The more I learned about them, the more I fell in love. The situation was not ideal for them, but the rawness in their challenges was inspiring. I loved t, loved them!

These surprise pregnancy tropes DESTROY ME! I absolutely adore them and when I saw this was a trope in Meghan’s book, let me tell you I sprinted straight to it!

Hudson and Daphne are soul mates and I loved their instant connection. Hudson is a major green flag, being an emotional supporter for Daphne and just an all round gentle soul!

This book had me in a choke hold and I wholeheartedly loved it. I will read Pieces over and over again 😍

Arc review thank you Meghan hollie for providing me with the arc copies ( honest review

This is my first ever Meghan hollie book but what an amazing book as my first . I definitely will be reading more books by her in the future .

- so Hudson the mmc is the cutest thing ever !! He’s also one of the greenest flags ever !! He’s a green flag !! The moment Daphne tells him she’s pregnant he’s all in like ( Imma be there for you& I will be the dad and I will be there every step of the way - this guy is literally from the start like I WILL BE A DAD TO THIS KId) I LOVE THIS IN BOOKS.

Now let me start by saying I adore pregnancy tropes which is why I applied for the arc - for me theres something about this trope that always has me swooning - I like the connection that happens between the 2 MCs and how the kid brings them together ( how it causes them to be in forced proximity)

Pregnancy in books is definitely different to irl & I know that . However , I like to live in the fantasy world of books ( where it’s not always so scary & dangerous) - bur I know irl pregnancy is a dangerous & sometimes scary thing & for some people not a fun experience at all. I know it also comes with so many potential risks and dangers. .

I do find it kinda ironic that Daphne gets pregnant her after having sex for the first time ever ( using a condom ). Thats gotta be some kind of bad luck - or in her case good luck cus I mean it brings Daphne and Hayden together . But omg if I lost my Virginity & even though I used a condom I got pregnant I’d be rioting - I’d be angry ( because for me I’m like 20 turning 21 this year and kids aren’t something I want in my future ) so I applaud Daphne for being all in and deciding to keep it .
( that’s not something I could do.)

The fmcs dad is the mmcs coach. I mean this is coaches daughter after all!! But omg he’s definitely one of Those coaches in books who’s like if you get with my daughter I will 100% kill you ( like over dramatic ) but I do understand in this situation to some degree but the fmc is 18 - the mmc is 20 - 21. Im just glad it gets sorted out and her dad gets his head out of his ass. .

- I absolutely love Daphne and Hudson !!!! So much . Their relationship is so cute , they are so cute . The chemistry is everything for me like everything.i love them so much . Even the spice is emotion filled ( this book isn’t a super spice heavy book) it’s more filled with their romance . God hudsen especially this guy has me swooning . He’s one of the most emotionally secure guys I’ve ever read about in a book ( he’s not afraid to cry or feel emotions ) he’s not afraid to be open about his feelings !!

The found family in this book is my everything and i love it . I know alot of them have been in the past 2 books . I do wonder if Jay is getting a book next and whether it will be with daphnes best friend ( although that would be hard cus they don’t go to the same college but y’know)

The ending is perfection !!

Also I know Hudson is such a Girl dad

I literally feel so giddy reading this book! I felt like I was stuck in a love bubble with Daphne and Hudson.

Hudson was on of my favorite side characters in this series! He was always a breath of fresh air, the unserious funny guy. Who is so in tuned with himself you admire him. Now seeing him through out this book made me love him so much more!

Daphne is his yin to his yang. She is the serious one, her life is planned out and she knows what she wants. Even if she has no life, a lot of stress, and is a bit of a perfectionist.

I'm always so skeptical when it comes to the pregnancy trope, but this one literally was just so perfect! It was such a great journey that wasn't perfect at all, but it was so them. I had such a fun time with this read!!!

Literally devoured it! It could have been read in one sitting if I had the time, but I literally picked up my kindle every chance I could get.

Thank you LoveNotesPR and Meghan Hollie for an oppurtunity for reading this ARC!

3/5🌶️

I really liked the previous book I read from Meghan ('Fragile') and I'm sooo glad I decided to apply for this one. I was fortunate enough to be accepted and I wanna thank you Meghan and Love Notes Pr for this copy🤗.

Hudson is a football player who wasn't known for his long term relationships. He was a real playboy and even his teammates made fun of him. Well, that's until he met Daphne at a concert. They had such a cute meet, being pulled to one another even from their first glance. One thing let to another and they got close, deciding to spend the night together. But this one night stand will forever change their lives.

OMG!! Can we please talk about how sweet Hudson was!! Even from their first interaction at the concert I liked how he acted around Daphne. Every glance, every little touch was so darn cute! And after he found out about their little mistake, he couldn't be more heart melting! I liked how determined he was to provide and take care of Daphne, even though her own father and his football coach was against their relationship. Also, Hudson was always such a goofball! He had the best lines and I was always giggling to his jokes

Daphne was so strong for dealing with this accidental pregnancy and continue to follow her passion and studies. She was stressed about all that, plus about her father's reaction to everything that was happening. But she had such a strong pillar in Hudson, who was pretty much obsessed about her and could've done anything for her happiness.

I can confess that I fell in love with this story thanks to Hudson and his hilarious personality. Besides that, I liked how lovely he was with his own family and how well he knew what's like growing up through tough times, which really helped him a lot in his current situation with Daphne. I'm here to strongly recommend this book, to give this little cutie a chance.

Many thanks to @lovenotespr and @meghanhollieauthor for giving me an ARC read to Pieces.
Pieces is the third book in the CLU universe, following the story of Hudson and a new character, Daphne.
Not gonna lie, I was looking forward to getting Jay’s story this book, but Hudson’s was so sweet. I’m not sure I believe there’s a real man out there as sweet and caring as Hudson is 😂. He blowdries her hair for her when she’s too tired so she doesn’t have to go to bed with it wet, I mean cmon haha. This was a nice take on the accidental pregnancy trope. It builds more on the found family that Meghan’s CLU universe is so good at.
Personally my least favourite book of the series, but was a book that sucked me in and had me finishing it quicker than a lot of other reads lately!

Hudson and Daphne are perfect.
They are actual soulmates.
The love and care they showed eachother was beautiful to see. I adored how amazing gentle and loving Hudson was and gave Daphne her space but also allowed her to make her own choices.
And again, the friendship group in this world that Meghan has created is nothing short of perfect. Whenever I'm back in this with this lot it's like a great big comforting hug.
I'm excited to see what happens next in this series.

This is my absolute favorite book of yours Meghan 🥺💗

I can’t describe how much I love this book - the way Meghan wrote Daphne & Hudson was perfection. I can't stop thinking about Meghan’s writing cause it's so beautiful, that you instantly fall in love with her characters and her writing.

Right from the start, I fell in love with Daphne and Hudson. I love this series so much and I was so happy we got the read Daphne and Hudson's love story. Daphne and Hudson are the definition of a soulmate and it's beautiful to see how much both of them care about each other 😭💗

Daphne my sweet sunshine. Daphne is such a strong person who works hard for her dream - I admired her for how she stood up for female athletes and wanted more coverage of them. Also, when she found out she was pregnant she followed her passion cause she knew that she had her best friend Liv and Hudson were always there for her 🥺💗

Meghan, I'm so in love with Hudson. Right from the start he was drawn to Daphne and I loved how he reacted when he found out Daphne was pregnant - he made sure that he would always be there for her and their daughter - he's the absolute sweetest ever. Moreover, I loved how he stood up to her father and his coach to show them that he was serious about being with Daphne and caring about her and the baby 😭💗

Daphne and Hudson are soul mates. I loved how his mum and sister were in love with Daphne when they met 🥺 I also loved the friendship between Jay and Hudson so much - they are always there for each other and will do anything for each other. Also, Liv and Daphne have the sweetest friendship ever 🥺💗

Also, Daphne and Hudson being Gracie Abrahms fans made me fall in love with them even more. Hudson also talking to the baby and being the absolute sweetest to Daphne - I LOVE THEM SO MUCH 😭💗

Leave it to Meghan to write not only a 6 star book but also one of my absolute favorite books with the accidental pregnancy trope! It can be such a tricky trope to write but let me tell you she 👏🏼absolutely 👏🏼 nailed 👏🏼 it!

Hudson was the greenest of flags & this man had me absolutely swooning 😍 the way he was obsessed & head over heels for our girl Daphne from the very moment they met & then how he stepped up and was there for her every step of the way when he found out she was pregnant was top tier book boyfriend material right there! Let the record show Hudson is the only blonde MMC I will allow into my heart, thank yew 🙂‍↕️

Daphne was such an amazing character. There were so many moments I could relate to her inner struggles and her character growth was amazing! She really was perfect for Hudson & they balanced each other out so well. They truly became the cutest little family 🥹

Meghan will always be an auto-buy/auto read author for me & the Cedar Lakes U series is hands down one of my favorite sports romance series! Finn’s book (Daphne’s twin brother) is next & I just know it’s gonna be so good!! 💖

Green Flag! Green Flag! GREEN FLAG! Hudson is a green flag through and through and I found a new book husband and I absolutely adore him!

This book was everything! I was so excited for it and then it blew everything out of the water! This is my absolute favourite of the series and all I want is more! More of Daphne and Hudson and the baby!

Daphne is amazing! What she wants to do and how she strives to do it while also being a boss who is growing a baby is so amazing! I loved seeing her grow and I loved being along for the ride of her pregnancy and her relationship!

This book was just so heartwarming and I devoured it and I just didn’t want to stop reading it. I was just always saying ‘ one more chapter’, every time I needed to have a snack break! This book from start to finish was just green flags. Like I absolutely adored the friend group and love that we added more characters to them. I loved exploring the sibling relationships within this book as well! This book is definitely one of my favourite reads this year and I just want to read it again and again! I cannot wait until I have a physical trophy of this book! Go read this book because it will not disappoint!!

Oh sweetness! This book was everything I needed! Hudson waving his green flag proudly and making me swoon for him on every page!

I had already been interested in Hudson from previous books so I couldn’t wait to get inside his head with Pieces. And boy, he did not disappoint! Mama raised this boy right! When he wins a bet to attend a concert, he doesn’t realize he will meet the girl of his dreams. Not realizing the impact that night will have on his life back at school.

Daphne is a freshman at college and always the good girl, so when she attends a concert with her bestie she decides to let loose. The hunky giant of a man is so sweet to her so can’t blame a girl for melting into a puddle.

Once these two realize they’re at the same campus, Daphne tries to put walls up and while Hudson respects them… he isn’t willing for the boundaries to last and knows this girl is his.

From food runs, to scrapbooking, to studying, to game day, to all the banter and jokes….I wanted to go to college and be in this circle of friends! It was so much fun and so sweet. If you’re an oopsie pregnancy fan and love a golden retriever, you need Hudson in your life!

✨Pieces by Meghan Hollie is everything I want in a romance novel—heartfelt, emotional, and completely addictive. From the first page, I was hooked on Hudson and Daphne story.🫶🏽

I started this book thinking, “Okay, just a few chapters.” 😂Next thing I know, I’ve ignored all my responsibilities, emotionally bonded with fictional characters, and developed an unhealthy attachment to Hudson. Seriously, where do I find one in real life?😫

💕Daphne and Hudson are such amazing characters that makes them feel like real people, and the romance is the perfect mix of swoon-worthy and emotional depth. Both of them are so strong and mature, it was so admirable and it warmed my heart!🥹 The chemistry? Off the charts. 🔥The character growth? Beautifully done. The emotional damage? Oh, it’s there—but in the best way possible. This book made me laugh, tear up, and completely lose track of time.❤️‍🩹

🎶If you love college romance with deep emotions, lovable characters, and just the right amount of angst, Pieces is an absolute must-read. Five stars aren’t enough!🙌🏽

Out March 18th!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ugh. I swear I hit the lotto on cute ARC's this month. This book perfectly sweet and fluffy and once I started it I literally could not put it down!

I adore accidental pregnancy when it's done right, and it was done SO right in this book!
Hudson our green flag extraordinaire, fell head over heels for his couch's daughter after a one night stand! And when he found out Daphne was pregnant he stepped all the way up! I don't think I've ever been so proud of an MMC! He did everything he could to support Daphne and make sure she and their baby were happy, healthy, and comfortable!

Their story was so sweet, watching them navigate their new reality while falling in love with each other and their little family was perfect. I truly love these two characters so much!

Definitely prefect for lovers of college romances, accidental pregnancies, and friends to lovers. 🥰

Thank you so much Meghan Hollie and Love Notes PR for giving me the opportunity to read this amazing ARC.

Daphne and Hudson are the cutest college romance couple ever, both of them are just happy, fluffy little pieces of sunshine. Hudson is the perfect footballer player book boyfriend, so attentive and just a sweet cinnamon roll. Daphne is your cute, hard working perfectionist who’s just trying her best to do things right, I actually think I’d be good friends with her in real life!

They have the most adorable meet cute, that gets spiced up FAST that ends up getting them in a serious situation that neither expected while being and college and still growing up. This is where my love for not just Hudson, but the side characters come in. The sheer amount of support and love from everyone was just heartwarming. The found family trope came in strong on this one, I teared up a few times while reading and it was just so lovely!! Both of them are faced with difficult times and everyone pulled through!!

Overall, I LOVED this book and would highly recommend to anyone who loves college romance, sports romance, strangers to friends to lovers and he falls first.

My god, what a great book! 🤩 Hudson Parker is the biggest walking green flag 💚, and I could not be more obsessed! This was by far one of the sweetest, swooniest, and cutest books I’ve ever read. 💕

The pregnancy trope is one of my all-time favorites—when it’s done right—and Meghan absolutely smashed it out of the park! ✨ Hudson and Daphne were made for each other. From their very first interaction to the final sentence, you could feel the love and devotion they had for one another. 💖 Hudson stepping up for his new family just gave me the gooiest, most heartwarming feeling. 🥹💘

I laughed 😂, I blushed 🥰, I kicked my feet in pure joy 🤭💃—this book was everything! If you love a sweetheart MMC 💙, a kindhearted FMC 💕, and all the love, laughter, and tenderness that comes with a well-done pregnancy trope 🤰, then this is the book for you!

I just finished reading and I'm still crying a little bit. Can we talk about green flags because it screams Hudsons name! I know some people don't like this trope but I LOVED IT. Sorry for screaming. Meghan I love this book series from the bottom of my heart. I giggled through this whole book. From the beginning of this books, their meer cute at a concert I was in aw. Then after their one night, the fact that they we're both obsessed with eachother. The fact that she is pregnant and he is stepping up from the moment he knows, great!

Some of my fave quotes:
"Hottie McBigArms is on his way over here"

"The guy is a green flag. Greener then a golf course!"

Hudson and Daphne conținue the story at Cedar Lakes University. They meet at a Gracie Abrams concert and it was an instant attraction. While Hudson is a playboy football player, Daphne is a virgin but a one-night stand turns into a suppose pregnancy and both their lives change.

They were so cute together, I loved seeing this side of Hudson. How he is with his sister shows how great he will be as a dad. I loved this book and how Daphne told her father her feelings and how she needed him.

Football romance, suprise pregnancy, forbidden romance, coach’s daughter, experienced/inexperienced, reformed playboy

So I loved Hudson in the first two books but oh how I utterly adore him now. That man is the greenest flag I have ever read and Meghan has written some of my most favourite green flag MMC's.

This book left my giddy. I loved how Daphnie and Hudsons relationship developed. It felt so natural and they were just so good together.

Each one of the books in this series has just gotten better and better. This world sucks you in and makes you want to have a friendship group like this and after each book I have the overwhelming urge to start scapbooking.

If you haven't read a Meggan Hollie book what are you waiting for? Because you are definitely missing out.

Omg I need a Hudson. He was the most loyal, most sweetest, kind and loving book boyfriend. He was so so good to Daphne. Their story is absolutely what dreams are made of.

Daphne is literally every pregnant woman and it is so cute just to watch her pregnancy journey through the pages. I truly adored this book so much.

They met at a Gracie Abrams concert and had instant chemistry. Hudson and Gracie hooked up once to never see each other again. Later down the road he finds out she is his coaches daughter and off limits, BUT HE HASNT STOPPED THINKING ABOUT HER SINCE THAT NIGHTTT!

Hudson and Daphne are fantastic main characters in this unplanned pregnancy, college-age book. Hudson is true a golden retriever MMC and I loved the vulnerability that Meghan Hollie made him. And I can completely relate to Daphne who all her life grew up as the “golden” child and a positive pregnancy test brings that crashing down in Daphne’s brain which is far from the truth. I loved how Meghan brought women in sports and especially mothers in college sports topic into the story and gave Daphne the ammunition to really feel confident about herself.
All around cute love story and can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

I got the Adavanced Reader Copy, Thank you again for the opportunity.

I gave this book 4 starts because it made me laugh, cry and now I want to read not only the next books in the series but the previous ones.

Daphne and Hudson are the two college students that meet at a concert, have a one night stand and never expected to see each other again. I love how they were reunited and how they romance evolved through challenges and fun times with friends.

I 100% would recommend, probably read book 1 in the series first but as a stand alone it was a quick fun read.

This freaking book was everything and more! I loved their little meet cute it was so them, like imagine meeting your soulmate at a Grace Abrams concert cause y’all both love her

So far this year these pregnancy trope books have been hitting!! And I’m loving it, I love me a good ONS pregnancy trope book and make it forbidden also!? Sign me up

These two are everything, I couldn’t stop reading and the way the group welcomed her in without question was so cute

Hudson James THE MAN YOU AREEEE, he’s such a golden retriever but does not play about her I love the way he’s always making sure she gets what she needs, I’ve been loving him since the first book but I loved him even more because the way he worships Grace Abrams

I love my pookie Daphn, she’s everything to me and I loved how she communicated how she felt after what her dad did and I love her relationship with her Twin and bestfriend! She’s just such a hardworking person

I had such a great time reading this book, I giggled and definitely cried a little but you can tell how much they love and care for each other and them being friends trying to figure out life together
