I knew going in what the outcome was to be, but I still devoured this in two days. Something about the journaling style really resonated with me. I wish I had written down more through our cancer/loss journey. I'm thankful Kelci felt inspired to share her intimate thoughts and feelings while going through their experience. The overall part I appreciated the most was by reading her day to day entries the reader could really appreciate the roller coaster of the emotions the journey with any type of cancer really can be. The ups and downs are so drastic!

I read this entire book in less than 2 days, it was that riveting. The journal timeline was a beautiful way to follow the family’s journey and see the ups and downs that co-exist with grief. Thank you for writing such a vulnerable and inspiring book. 🤍

I could not put this book down. I had to stay up late to finish it and then of course inevitably sobbed. So much of what the author detailed about how she felt through her journey resonated with me and I am grateful for her honesty and willingness to share with the world.

This is not a ‘feel good’ book. But it is a ’blessed’ book. And I truly feel blessed.

I was surprised how much I loved this book. It was recommended to me by a friend and from the moment I started reading the introduction I was drawn in. I couldn’t put the book down as I became so invested in this story feeling like I was right there with her on this journey. I felt a range of emotions- I laughed, I cried, I got angry, I felt gratitude. This book is a must read for everyone, put it on your list today.
