Wow, I can’t believe I did it!! Also, my 300th “book” for this year. 🥹💗✨
Every year, I try to read the Bible in full. This year, I slacked a little, so I decided to do the 30-day plan/challenge—i.e., read the Bible in 30 days. I am almost done, and it is crazy to see how much I've already read in such a short time. The nice part about this plan is that I can do it from my phone, which allows me to alternate between physical books and audiobooks.
Note: this isn't the actual version I'm reading, but I just picked any edition.

SPOILER!
Jesus dies for you and then rises again after defeating sin death and the devil! You are forgiven and have been washed clean. The word of God deserves way more stars but this app only allows five. 😂
Jesus loves you!! 💗💗💗

THE BEST BOOK EVER!!
June 4, 2025
I had a goal, way back in college, to read through the Bible 100 times by the age of 50.
This is number 84.
The closer I get to that goal, the less likely it appears that I will hit it on time. Even still, I hope the value I put on this book can be told through the attempt. In a far more important way, what I value is not even the book itself but the impact that the Bible has had on my life.
This is supposed to be a "review" of the book, but what right do I or any of us have to do so? What we should instead do is let the Bible "review" us. Is it changing us? Are we living up to the commands and dictates found in these pages? I know that I have a long, long way to go. But hopefully, with each time through, and with each daily reading, I become just a little bit more like him. Day by day, glory to glory, I pray that I am reflecting Him just a little bit better.

I did it!!!!! One of my biggest achievements this year!!!! Took me over a year and a bit but im so proud i finally read the bible beginning to end. What a great way to end the year, honestly so many stories i never knew. I still cried when jesus died even though i knew it was coming. Cant wait to do smaller studies now! But wow what a journey! Thanks to my friend claire for encouraging me to do the bible recap. It really was a game changer.

My annual 40-day read-through during Lent (finished a bit early, thanks to using the audiobook during a solo road trip)! Each year, the spirit illuminates to me an overarching theme. This year’s was “Love your neighbor.” ❤️

I always enjoy reading through the Bible in a year to see the full story of redemption in a short amount of time. This time around, I followed along with The Bible Recap, which I would highly recommend as supplemental material! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gods Word
My personal Bible is NIV. My pastor preaches from the ESV so it’s wonderful that I can use this app to follow along with the pastor’s sermons and compare translations.

If you believe then this book is life.
John 10:25-26. Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name bear witness about me, but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep.”

I’m not about to review the Bible as if it’s just a normal book, as it’s not…
But I felt like I didn’t read much this year until I remembered I’m about to finish the m’Cheyne plan for the year!

I finished my Bible in a year plan. I followed The Bible Recap with Tara-Leigh Cobble. Her commentary after the daily reading was insightful and helped keep me on track!
