This book was received via a Goodreads Giveaway, and while the first book in the series was enough to put me off for life, I thought it only right to give this book a chance and hope some vast improvements had been made. Alas that wasn't to be the case, indeed this turns out to be just as awful but with more pages to trawl through.
The book is monotonous and, as with the first in the series, is overly heavy on child-like dialogue and devoid of descriptive content. It is repetitive and, even though over 300 pages long, doesn't actually go anywhere interesting or contain anything that would enthrall the reader. Worst of all, it's to be continued in a third book.
But, as stated in my review of the first book, perhaps I am just too old. Perhaps this book will have appeal to 10 year olds, and perhaps that is who it is aimed at.
