December 28, 2013So here comes that awkward moment when, as the author, I'm supposed to review my own novel. Of course I want to shove it in everyone's face and scream, "Five stars, bitches." But I won't. Instead I will say that this is the strongest character yet, I'm not a fan of first person present, but Jade demanded it. She took over and I felt at times I was just channeling her story, not creating it.
I'm getting better. This I know is true. Will you like it? I don't know. I do know I will improve every time I hit that "new document" tab in Google Drive.
So read it, review it, love it, hate it...I hope you enjoy it. :)

4 REALLY DIRTY STARS
Este es mi libro favorito de Jaden Wilkes.
La historia no es muy compleja. Lo que me atrajo y me mantuvo enganchada fue la protagonista.
Jade Daniels
Es raro que una protagonista me agrade mucho, en este caso Jade lo consiguió. Si es slutty, y tiene un sin fin de defectos. Pero me encanto, su actitud, personalidad, la forma en la que actúa.
Principalmente su idea de aparentar ser tonta, y concuerdo, muchas veces ser lista, crea mas problemas y enemigos.
Hush
El protagonista al principio me enamoro, HOT guitarrista de una banda de Punk. Pero conforme avanzo la historia lo sentía poco realista, y súper cliché.
La historia esta llena de alcohol y drogas. La protagonista se llama Jack Daniels por que su mamá es alcohólica, lo cual me parece triste y divertido al mismo tiempo.
Obvio tiene escenas sexuales fuertes. No es nada que no haya leído antes, pero las palabras que utiliza y la manera en la que las desarrolla la escritora las hace parecer mas sucias e intensas.
En conclusión: No es un libro romántico, es divertido, muy hot, y recomendado si buscan algo diferente que leer. Y solo para pasar el rato.
En conclusión #2: No pude evitar imaginar a la prota como Sasha Grey.

3.5 Raunchy Stars
Meet Jade aka Jack Daniels....She works in a sex shop. She is also a dirty whore and loves it.
She goes out with her BFF Eva one night and meets a guy in Eva's BF's band. Hush is a musician and hits it off with Jade after doing some coke and getting it on with her in a nasty bathroom.
They hit it off and fall in love rather quickly have tons of raunchy sex. What better way to say I love you than to be fucked in front of a crowd as the band is playing and to have a threesome with one of his friends...
Anyways for reasons unknown Hush bails and Jade has to move on and mopes around a ton and what better way to move on than to go have more sex!
Then Hush shows back up and Jade is all

I was really enjoying all the dirty talking and crazy fucked up life they were living And the crazy bad-ass heroine at first and i felt sorry for her at some point but i also was irked by her desperation,low self steam and whore-ish behavior!
At first i was like,Oh yeah,a hero with a filthy mouth who knows how to use it right...!
It was really crazy smoking hot,they were going at it everywhere like cats in heat.....
but then at the middle(the threesome) i was like...
Evens so i like threesome most of the time, this one didn't click right with me ......it was weird and i was grossed out!
One minute he's all possessive of her and making her feel special and all that BS and the next he want to share her with some guy!!!
By the last half of the book it was too cliche and boring for me i actually skipped some pages....
she was oh so desperate for him and he turned out to be a weak bossed-around bastard with lame excuses!
Enjoyed the BR with the lovely Elaine! Xo

Oh wow this book is awesome the sex scenes are so detailed without being over the top that it feels like your actually watching them at it. The characters are moody confused and enjoy punk rock and I found very likable even with jades mood swings. Story line is addictive and keeps you hooked right to the end. Add it to your to be read list today

I felt like this was just what I needed at the moment. I had recently finished a sad story. And this was the perfect pick me up book. It was hilarious! I love Jade's sense of humor. And her brutal honesty. I'm sure some people probably got annoyed with her many times. But I didn't really. I think because the way it was written made you understand her. I felt sympathy for her & I was rooting for her the entire time. I hate the way her mother treated her growing up. Its so sad. And no child deserves to be treated like that. But I think she turned out pretty okay. Underneath it all she's still a decent, kind hearted human being.
And then Hush. I fell for him pretty instantly. Except towards the middle of the book. I wish he would've been honest and straight forward from the beginning with Jade. One thing I loved about him was his naughtiness. He has an amazingly sexy dirty mouth that's so hot! I think he fully won me over at the end with what his does at his doctorate ceremony. That was totally unexpected. But it was a good surprise. And made me fully believe in him. And I felt a lot of sympathy for him too with how his family treats him as well. Especially his father.
The drug use was pretty heavily. They weren't alcoholics and crackheads or anything lol But not too far behind! I think they all did drugs a bit too much. Anytime to run from an emotion or when things get too deep. Turn to cocaine! Dumb!
All of the sex scenes in here were extremely hot! And loved the threesome that happens midway through the book. I love how sexually uninhibited everyone seems to be. Makes for a hot fun read!

5 Tattooed Punk Rock Stars!
Another Jaden Wilkes master piece. I swear I freakin love her books.
Jade is amazing. She is smart, sassy and sexy. Only she can't show people how smart she is. Her mom did her best to show her when she was younger that she is not better than anyone else. Long story short, her mom is a bitch! Jade lives a simple life with her best fiend and likes to party. She likes drugs, she likes sex and she has no shame. Then she meets Hush and boy do sparks fly. I liked Hush from the very beginning. From his green mohawk, his tattoos, to his very sexy body. He pushes all of Jades limits and makes her wish for more in her life for the first time ever.
Then there is a twist. A twist I did not see coming. A twist I was mad about. A twist I didn't think this person could redeem themselves from. But of course, Wilkes is freakin awesome and totally made up for it and everything came together for an amazing ending.
Over all I loved this book and all it's kinky smut. I swear it had me clinching my thighs together every few pages. Oh and how about that mouth on Hush. I swear the man could say no wrong. His dirty mouth with them dirty words...HOT!
Now Jaden, if I begged and pleaded would you please write a book for Rev and another for Eva. I need more of these people. Please don't let it be over. PRETTY PLEASE!!!!!! I'm not above begging. Lol.
Ok people, heed the warning, don't be stupid. If you can't handle getting down and dirty with the good stuff then stay away. Jaden Wilkes' writing is amazing. Her books are kick ass. If you can't handle what the warning says then I suggest you stay away. If you can handle it then jump right in to the book. You will not regret it!

I loved this book! I highly recommend this book if you like stories that are chalked full of hot, bad boy rockstars, and all the angst that goes along with that lifestyle. Wait, did I mention the hot sex that was in this book. Oh it will have all of your girl or boy parts hot and bothered.
Jade comes from a difficult childhood. To forget all of her problems, she likes to party, drink and hook-up with no strings attached. She meets Hush and instantly she is taken with this mysterious rocker. I loved Jade and Hush is the ultimate alpha bad boy that happens to be in a band. They are both a little rough around the edges and their emotional journey is filled with angst, heartbreak, lust, and ultimately love.
Jaden creates characters that are realistic and well developed. You’ll fall in love with them along the way through their ups and downs. She writes in such a way that you feel like her characters could be your best friends. Her writing grabs you from the very beginning and transports you to another place and time. I could not put this book down. She is one of my favorite authors and I was honored that she asked me to beta read for her.

Dirty Little Freaks is a gritty story that consists of sexy, drugs, and, rock & roll. I loved this book. In it we meet Jade, a freak that lets her freak flag fly! Jade is an intelligent girl that is floating through life in a sea of drugs and booze. Partying, and hooking up when her physical needs over take her. She meets Hush, her night in tattooed armor. He’s her equal in all things sexy and HOT! He’s what we expect our Punk rock band Gods to be. Their relationship is on high octane! It’s quick and thrilling every step of the way.
I could rave on and on about this book. If you want something hot as hell, read this book. If you’re in a book funk and you need to break up the monotony, read this book. If you like it rough and gritty…and don’t want your grandma’s romance novels read this book! Dirty Little Freaks will not disappoint.

Dirty little freaks is a true punk rock love story. Yes it is crude, crass and like the title says "dirty" but is is fucking romantic!! I'm sorry but this book has brought out my inner sailor so there may be a few curse words thrown around lol.
Jade is one tough bitch! All she is looking for right now is a good time, hang out with her best friend Eva, have some drinks, get high and find a hot guy for a quick fuck. What she didn't expect was to meet Hush, a super sexy bass player with an awesome green 'hawk. Jade is instantly hooked but really fighting back her feelings. Hush is sweet and and smoking hot but he has some secrets.I definitely recommend this book and cannot wait for more from this author!

I feel like I need to take a shower to wash all the filth I've acquired from reading this dirty, dirty book. Ahh, I'm exaggerating a tiny bit...kinda ;)
Ok, not really. It's true. There's a lot of kinky action performed in a fairly creative fashion. Lots of partying/drug use. Combine all that with punk rockers & some interesting mc's & you got Dirty Little Freaks.
I liked it...but I'm slightly strange & super bored lately.

Loved this book! The humor the first part of the book was great and it would have been a 4.5 if it hadn't slowed down the second half of the book with that snark. Jade is a no holds barred gal that isn't afraid to try crazy sex.

The first 90% of this book was unequivocally stellar! I was soooo captivated by the characters and their story that I was viscerally affected; when they were happy, I felt happy and when they had a break up, I honestly felt down! Although the story is not at all unique, the characters were exceptionally unusual. The male mc plays bass in a punk rock band and has a mohawk while the extremely interesting female main character works in a sex shop and dyes her hair green. With lots of drugs, alcohol and wild sex, they are wild, uninhibited and outrageous, often saying things I had to look up in urban dictionary! The first night reading this book I literally only got 4 hours of sleep because I could not stop reading! Sadly, I didn’t find the ending to be as exciting as the rest of the book but overall, I loved this book and will definitely be reading more by Jaden Wilkes in the near future!

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I kinda loved this book and here's why. One, the writing is good. Jaden's writing is super easy to read and it's not littered with grammatical mistakes like so many other arcs I read now-a-days. Her book is also low on the long windedness. (No that's not a word but you know what I mean) I like an author who gets straight to the point of the story, otherwise I find myself skimming useless details. Second, the sex! God Bless America, it was hot. And raunchy. And dirty. And kinda gross but in the good gross kinda way. Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about. ;) There was lots of hot loving in this book. Jaden can write the hell outta some housewife porn. The only aspect of the book that I felt could have been improved was the depth of the characters. I wanted to feel more emotionally connected with them. I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I kinda loved this book and here's why. One, the writing is good. Jaden's writing is super easy to read and it's not littered with grammatical mistakes like so many other arcs you read now-a-days. Her book is also low on the long windedness. (No that's not a word but you know what I mean) I like an author who gets straight to the point of the story, otherwise I find myself skimming useless details. Second, the sex! God Bless America, it was hot. And raunchy. And dirty. And kinda gross but in the good gross kinda way. Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about. There was lots of hot loving in this book. Jaden can write the hell outta some housewife porn. The only aspect of the book that I felt could have been improved was the depth of the characters. Wow there's a lot of sex in this book and I mean a lot! There's also a story and romance and Hush.......
Jade has had a bad childhood but her friend Eva was always there through her teens, they both screw around and have fun.
Eva's last one night stand is hanging around and has a friend apparently! Enter Hush *sigh*. How they meet is rather dysfunctional, but sexy and the journey of Jade and Hush begins.
As mentioned there is lots of sex in this book but it's backed up with a journey and story that keeps you hooked.
My favourite sex scene is near the end though, but you'll have to read the whole book to find out why!

I received this book in exchange of an honest review!!! Ok!!! It is not your typical rockstar romance!!! I loved it though!!! In the first pages I was a little bothered by the language and the sex but as the story goes you understand that it is made on purpose!!! To show the rebellion after a broken childhood, the lack of affection that goes with it, and all sort of psychological aspects of the characters!!! In a way it is needed so please continue on reading!!! It is a well written book with an interesting story, great characters, pure hotness and a really high level of sweet sexiness!!! I loved every minute of it!!! Thumbs up!!!

HOLY CRAP...this book is genius. It was rude filthy and funny as hell. I loved Jades character she didnt give a crap and said what she thinks i loved that...Hush is a mohawk god and filthy..Im sat here thinking why the hell havent i read this sooner. Jade reminds me of a certain potty mouth person who i adore and love you know who you are. But anyone looking for a sex filled filthy book with laughs and more freaking laughs this is the book. Im In a mood i read it so fast

Such a great punk rock love story. This story is very raw. So do NOT read it if you don't like drugs, sex(crazy & kinky), and rock n roll! If you don't have a problem with that, than what the hell are you waiting for???

I did enjoy the story. I liked Jade, thought she was a scream at times! Dirty talker Hush was hot. I got to the end and felt it was just a bit . Not that I don't want my HEA's. It's got great sex, plenty of it in fact and some m/f/m action too. The plot just got a bit lost somewhere towards the end. I'm wavering between 3.5 to 4 stars on this one.

So, When I heard this was going be Punk Rock book with lots of kinky sex, of course my reaction was GREAT!
I was not let down! Dirty Little Freaks is a true love story in the dirtiest way possible. Not only is this book sexy, gritty, hot, and, kinky but it is a fantastic love story that kept me rooting for the pair the whole way through the book!
Jaden Wilkes wrote a story that will turn you and make you feel tingly in all kinds of places, but make your heart swell at the same time. This story is sexy, endearing ,and hilarious all at the time.
Jade is a twenty-something punk party girl with tattoos and bright colored hair who does not care what you think! Jade spends her time working in a sex shop and partying it up when she can! Jade drinks, does drugs, and enjoys some kinky sex. Between partying and working in the sex shop she is so disillusioned with sex that even she can admit she does not get enough. On the rare occasion when she does have sex it is random and reckless. She knows she is missing love, goals, and moving forward with her life but is stuck where she is.
Hush is the scorching hot new bass player for Bondo. With his green Mohawk, perfect ass, and penchant for a good time he is just what any girl would want! Jade and Hush meet at a Bondo gig and with the help of a little E and a whole lot of alcohol Jade decides Hush is the answer to her dry spell. This book is full of SEX and DRUGS . . .dirty, kinky ,and at times unprotected sex. There is mass amounts of drug use and characters do not always make the best decisions . . . but those are some of the best parts! ;) If you are a bit of a prude then this book is probably not for you, but if you have an open mind and enjoy a good sexy read then this book will definitely rev your engine!
This book was delicious! It was a great story that was also sexy and raw! Dirty Little Freaks was an easy read and I was able to read this book in one day. So caught up in it, that I had to force myself to take potty breaks because changing peed on clothes would have taken longer and distracted me from my reading. I was laughing hysterically from the very first copywrite page and continued throughout the whole book. I honestly never knew what to expect to come next and loved that about it. Dirty Little Freaks is a hot, racy, gritty, and fun but above all it is a great love story!

Let me start by saying that this book is steamy. Not just steamy but STEAMMMMY ... fog up your glasses, need a cold ass drink, steamy. Definitely read the authors warning, this book is not for the faint of heart. There is sex and lots of it, descriptive, dirty, nasty sex, drugs and plenty of punk rock!
Jade is a lost soul. Her moms a drunk, her life's been shit, she works at a pork shop. I mean come on .. horrible situation. Eva her best friend is the only "light" in her life. The only constant she has ever had. And as a BFF, always her wing man. They like to party together, drink together, hit the club together, seems like ever 23 year olds dream.
Hush is a bass playing, punk rock God. Beautiful tall mohawk, lean long body, erotica dripping from every pore. His persona is so bad ass, but underneath that, I sensed a heart of gold. He pushes Jade to go to the edges of her boundaries and break through.
This wasn't a typical rock star story wrapped around the rock star himself, Jade is in the fore front and I liked that a lot. To me, it was a modern-day rock inspired romance. Mohawks, fish net stockings, coke enema, booze straight from the bottle, mini skirts .. you get the idea! I felt immersed in the rock subculture and said oh hell, this shit's crazy.
Even though there are only 200 pages to this story, it was packed with great work. Reading the last 10 pages I still wasn't sure how it would end. I love books like that! The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat and full of wonder. I love feeling the rush of reading something I wouldn't normally grab off the shelf and seriously enjoying it. I found the characters back stories super interesting. Jade pulled at my heart-strings through the last page .. she's a super stellar goodness, IMO. I am so glad I was able to take this journey with her and watch her grow. I hope we see more of her in the future!! Great work, Jaden :)

This is also a work of fiction. Seriously, dude. If you feel compelled to have casual, unprotected sex or shove coke up your ass because you read about it somewhere, frealz, you need help. Unprotected sex often leads to gross diseases and even worse, babies. And yeah, drugs are bad…mmkay? So, I guess that about covers it.
