About the author

Chris Reilly has loved reading from as early as she can remember and would spend hours letting her imagination run wild. She was born and raised in Liverpool, UK and still lives in her favorite city with her son and their two cats.

She spent the majority of her 20’s/30’s reading thrillers, but made the switch to romance when she picked up a book called ‘Dirty Letters’ and loved it and the authors so much, she went looking for more. Reading Indie Romance became her passion and she was inspired by these amazing authors and decided to put her writing hobby to the test.

A 'Happily Ever After' is always the goal for her characters, but there may be a cliffhanger or two, and definitely some angsty situations to work through, occasionally a little bit dark, but oh so delicious.

Really, really enjoyed the two Red Alert books - as well as the Breakneck / Red Alert mashup Novella.

Chris, you have a fantastic writing flow and intriguing plot lines. I loved the Jameson brothers! I miss them already. Please tell me there are further Red Alert stories in the near future?

I would say this book has definitely more action than the other books in this universe. And I'm not talking about 🌶️ action (even though, of course, it has this kind of action in it too 😉).
First with the death of a friend 🥺, and then with a car crash. And that right at the very beginning. But that's not all. There is more coming 😲

It's not just that Ocean, as a "normal" person, is pulled into the rockstar life, she has her own things to manage. She is a strong and independent woman. She comes from deep down, but now she is a doctor 💪 I absolutely admire her for what she has done.
She is a wonderful person with a HUGE heart. Not just what she does at the hospital every day. But also her neighbor 🩷 When I read such stories (even when they are just fiction, they are also happening in real life), I'm a bit afraid to get old 😟 But he is so strong 🩷

Book 1 in this spin-off wouldn't have been possible if this one band member (Riley) hadn't cheated on her boyfriend (Nash, the MMC in book 1). And yes, I still hate this 🤬 It's not just that she caused trouble in the past, no, she still does. Every time she shows up 🤬 So, yes, there is a lot going on in this book because of her.

All the problems Ocean and Dylan have to manage show how perfect they are for each other. At least there isn't any drama between them 😍

Dylan & Ocean

Great rock star story. Main characters are mature, reasonable and passionate, which isn’t always the case. I’m looking forward to Jack’s and Ciro’s stories. If you haven’t read Nash & Tia’s book it’s a good one, too. If you like the rock star trope, don’t miss the Breakneck series.

Great Series!

Really enjoyed Dylan and Oceans story. Very enjoyable characters and storyline. Both Dylan and Ocean find each other and fall in love. Many steamy scenes and you wonder if Ocean finds out about her brother and will Dylan's band finally find peace behind the scenes? I hope the author writes more books with the last 2 members of Red Alert finding their soulmates.

This book was fun and romantic and full of suspense! I lovedthe plot twist!! I absolutely knew there was one coming but it wasn't what I expected at all!!

Dylan and Oceans' story has been a great read. Ups and downs,steamy interactions,a little tragedy,but lots of fun to read. I really hope there will be more books in The Red Alert Series. Great job Chris Reilly. 👍

Outstanding

Another great book by a very talented author. I love the intriguing story that’s written with humor and a lot of spice.
