I got this book from the mission agency I went with this summer. It would be a really good book for a first time, short-term missionary. It had many things that would have helped me a lot the first couple of times I returned from mission. You don't know what to expect when you come home, but this book tells you about it. After the first few trips I returned from, I felt kind of in limbo and wondered why. This would have helped me deal with that and how I saw the world after returning. It also has things to do once you get home to continue working in missions. I would recommend this to any missionary, but especially young inexperienced ones. It also has places to make notes or draw or do whatever after every chapter. The layout and the look of the entire book is very appealing to me as well.
