J.D. Glasscock started as a slam poet on national teams in 1990. Six years later, he moved on to be the singer/songwriter/frontman of a blues rock band called Sofa King, which lasted ten years. Though he still writes both lyrics and poetry, in 2005, he moved on to studying film writing and directing with a special emphasis on lighting, specifically, noir lighting. He moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to finally pursue those aspirations. He is the Alan Bailey Award winner for Excellence in the Craft of Filmmaking - Noir, at the Action on Film Festival 2015. He currently has 16 short films to his name and has won numerous awards as a filmmaker at large festivals. His current goals include his two TV series, Celestial Moon, and The Mysfits, as well as his first feature, A God Among Sheep -- The Rise of Maria Salvatore. He has four other feature film scripts written in different genres -- Western, Sci-Fi, Post-Apocalyptic, and Suspense Thriller. Series has so much potential, but refuses to use it.
We have an awesome world that we don't explore. There's an interesting power system, but our mc only gets boring detective abilities that he doesn't actually use except to fuck better. L'Sana has potential to be an awesome side character, instead every book turns her more into a 13yo's vision of a living anime fuckdoll.
Other than all of that, this book is also mostly just skippable. Dungeons need clearing, they clear some dungeons, nothing much happens except for more threats of rape and sex dungeons.

F*cking vampires, badass rescue mission 😎 After that, the book's kind of a blur for me 😬😕 I just wasn't able to focus and follow ☹️ The book really needs to hold my attention.
