A little boy can't wait for Sunday when the family spends the whole day together. From the bestselling author of Ten Little Happies and The Red Sweater, comes another happy tale of family life and childhood dreams.
Told in spirited rhyme, this little story will help kids learn the days of the week as our hero counts down from Monday to Sunday. It's a day of rest and fun and play on Sunday. No work, no chores, just warmth and smiles. Another feel-good book for little ones to cherish.

Years ago, I was the happy owner of a modest bookstore, where I spent endless hours reading on the slow days, (of which there were far too many) and writing my own stories on the other slow days!
I love to entertain children and I believe there is nothing so fine as a book that can make you smile.

This is such a sweet and heartwarming book with beautiful illustrations. It is perfect for little kids who are just learning the days of the week, and the rhyming makes it really fun to read out loud. The story is all about family time, which is always a good reminder for both kids and adults. The excitement building up to Sunday is so relatable, and it gives a nice sense of how special family time can be. It's a cute, feel-good book that is easy to enjoy, and I can see kids wanting to read it over and over again. Definitely a nice addition to any little one's bookshelf!
A sweet and engaging story for young readers with adorable, detailed illustrations. It teaches children to enjoy and be thankful for each day and to always be on their best behavior. Biblical aspects are tied into the story and emphasize the importance of Sundays being a very special day of rest, prayer, spending time with family, and counting your blessings. Recommended.
Cute read A little boy cannot wait for Sunday to come. And he tells the readers what he does on the other days of the week as he waits for Sunday to come. Lovely illustrations and cute read for older children.
I hope you won’t mind if I say, that Sunday is his favorite day
I liked this cute little book about a boy's weekly activities. He enjoys each day, but his favorite day is Sunday, which he looks forward to all week. I also liked the art.
Such an easy joyful story to read. I loved how it incorporated things to do (helping out around the house) to get through the week with the goal of getting to enjoy Sunday together. I’ll say it again…. My granddaughter loved it!!
Nice graphics. Colorful, easy on the eyes. Parents will welcome the family venue. Families can relate. Teachers will enjoy reading the book to the class.
I enjoy this story. It's very well written. I like how it shows chores the main character did during the week that led to Sunday. This is a great read!
