Now this is hard to rate overall because of different factors. The art style is impeccable and definitely a huge selling point; very artistic style with heavy/thin lines that make it seem more realistic than anime per se. The MC has a lip fetish which was one initial thing that made me cringe tbh even though I’m not hating I’m just not into that as much as others. The biggest hurdle for me to get over is the CENSORSHIP. No nipples whatsoever; everything is covered or even when they could be drawn they’re omitted and seemingly missing even though the detail of the scene allows for those details to show through too. I can almost guarantee that this is due to the original magazine publication requirement avoiding nudity and gratuitous amounts blood/death and things of those nature.

I want to like it but then also the girls in this are basically babies and creates a narrative that borders on infantilism.

Still haven’t truly finished but will update if I ever do.

Haha, what the actual heck did I just read. A guy who finds a bouncy ball, a girl appears, he kisses her, more girls appeared, and tons of chaos (and a dash of gore) happens. I am so confused, but also kinda invested. XD I am very curious what these girls are and what their plan is. The art is a bit weird at times, there are some gorgeous scenes, but there are also stuff that would fit better in strange horror stuff.
Oh, I did like the addition of the cosplay/gravure photos.

This is weird as hell (as expected from the same creators as Prison School), but they really cranked the eccentricity of this one up to 11 haha. There are also a surprising couple moments of gore (like after all the girls and the mc fall from the sky) which was also insane.

I mean, overall I’d say it wasn’t bad, but… nothing great. If you like weird asf ecchi series though, you might like this one.

Ichiyoshi è un giovane operaio disilluso dalla vita. Dopo aver fallito l’ingresso all’università, non avere avuto successo in campo sentimentale e finito a lavorare in una fabbrica di cioccolato che non lo entusiasma, sente di aver perso ogni direzione. Neanche il suo senpai Arima, che ha tentato un cambiamento, è riuscito a trovare una via d’uscita, e questo alimenta ancora di più il senso di frustrazione di Ichiyoshi.

Un giorno, però, la sua vita prende una svolta inaspettata: porta a casa una “super ball” trovata per caso, ma il giocattolo si trasforma improvvisamente in una bellissima ragazza nuda. E non finisce qui: ogni volta che la ragazza riceve un bacio, si moltiplica, dando vita ad altre tre giovani donne.

Inizia così una convivenza surreale. Le quattro ragazze, inizialmente incapaci di parlare o di comprendere il mondo attorno a loro, iniziano a sviluppare giorno dopo giorno nuove capacità cognitive e comportamentali, sorprendendo Ichiyoshi con la loro rapidissima evoluzione. Scopre anche che possiedono poteri particolari: si autorigenerano e… non possono mangiare cioccolato.

Ichiyoshi decide di dare un nome a ciascuna di loro:
• Eliza, la più affettuosa e appiccicosa,
• Oka, la più intelligente e razionale,
• Shuka, la più ingenua e svampita,
• Kikka, ossessionata dalla tecnologia e dai dispositivi elettronici.

Quando finiscono le provviste, il gruppo si reca al supermercato, dove provocano involontariamente confusione. Nonostante tutto, la serata si conclude con un momento suggestivo: Ichiyoshi e le ragazze osservano insieme i fuochi d’artificio, come una vera famiglia.

Tuttavia, le cose iniziano a complicarsi. Oka, sempre più cosciente di sé e dei propri desideri, comincia a sviluppare una forte curiosità verso l’intimità e il contatto fisico. Mossa da un impulso irrefrenabile, decide di baciare uno sconosciuto. Il gesto ha però conseguenze drammatiche: il ragazzo cade a terra, con il collo attorcigliato in modo inquietante, e decine di palline – simili a quelle da cui erano nate le ragazze – si spargono sull’asfalto…

Una vera fregatura. L'inizio è identico a quello di Jagan, altra opera dello sceneggiatore Muneyuki Kaneshiro. abbiamo un protagonista annoiato e represso che desidererebbe avvenisse un qualche evento straordinario nella propria vita e viene accontentato. questa premessa risultava molto più interessante e ben sviluppata nei primi capitoli di Jagan, mentre qui è solo un didascalico pretesto per far partire la storia... che è insulsa! Da quando compaiono le ragazze si hanno solo le classiche situazioni da ecchi harem con qualche elemento gore e splatter che ho già visto s'intensificherà nel secondo volume. In questo volume non accade nulla, diverse trovate sono sciocche e affrettate e nessun personaggio è in grado di formulare pensieri interessanti che possano apportare qualcosa in più al genere ecchi. Si legge solo "Che carina!", "Ichi è mio" e "Adesso come farò?". è ridondante e noioso.
Adesso la patata bollente: Akira Hiramoto. Il disegnatore di questo manga, nonchè il genio che ha saputo rivoluzionare l'ecchi sentimentale con Prison School. Un grande illustratore estremamente capace, specialmente nel disegnare le ragazze. Inutile dire che per una storia così inutile e bruttina è sprecato, inoltre sembra proprio a disagio in questo tipo di storia. Sfondi e personaggi maschili non sono di qualità, sembra di leggere un qualsiasi manga commerciale e solo le ragazze riescono ad avere l'impronta estremamente sensuale di Hiramoto. Sono stupende, per farla breve, ma mancano di fascino come personaggi e solo Eliza riesce, grazie agli stereotipi dell'ecchi, a farti appassionare. Ho dato un'occhiata al secondo volume e la storia non sembra migliorare, i disegni di Hiramoto peggiorano ulteriormente (anche le ragazze perdono la cura dei dettagli) e le scene d'azione non sono interessanti. Non proseguirò la lettura.

As a fan of Jagaaan and Akira Himamoto’s work I was left kinda.. idk speechless but not necessarily in a good way.
The plot is kinda eh, feels very misogynistic, you can tell it’s man who created this. A guy fantasizing abt having a girlfriend but is basically an incel suddenly gets girls out of nowhere, and on top of that they’re so infantilized which makes the whole thing weird af, don’t get me wrong I knew it was gonna get weird concerning the 2 creators but like it kinda made me sad to see that that’s why my favorite mangakas were doing. The story has no depth and the whole situation with girls needing to be raised and tamed by an incel just seems so wrong to me. But 5/5 for the drawings still.

Non riesco proprio ad apprezzarlo. I disegni han dei momenti in cui sono stupendi e altri in cui sono orribili e grotteschi. No grazie...per me è un no gigante.

E la storia...bhe...è abbastanza rivoltante.

Stunning artwork. First chapter was some of the best looking manga I’ve ever read. The censorship was quite irritating at first but there is more than enough substance here to keep you interested & occupied. I knew as soon as that chocolate was eaten, this series was going to dive into horror territory which I really wasn’t expecting. Might just have to digitally cop Vol 2.

Honestly a pretty dull, generic manga. Narrative is a little strange, the premise genuinely seems very superficial, characters were interesting at first then it falls into a very streamlined shonen manga kind of plot, except girls. The art is pretty fantastic though, but not enough to capture my interest and hold it any longer than a volume or two.
