Such a beautiful account of a wonderful couple. Many have enjoyed and gleaned greatly from the life, teachings, and stories of Eld. Verbal Bean, myself included. Much of Eld. Verbal Bean’s life has been echoed to where he almost exists as a “myth and legend”. However, it is wonderful to be able to hear about Verbal Bean, the Man in his humility and humanity serving the Lord and loving his family. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I am grateful Sis. Hodges comprised this beautiful, historic, account of their anointed life dedicated unto the Lord.

A testimony and example of a life sold out to the Lord
I grew up hearing of Verbal Bean but had never actually known him. To know more of his story is very inspiring and is one that can be of great encouragement to every believer, especially young ministers and wives. For the story is not only his, it is a story of a ministers wife as well.

Blessed to read about the life of one who’s recorded teachings have formed my ministry
This blessed me so much. I reread all the lessons and sermons of verbal bean every year. His ministry has impacted me so greatly. This book allowed me to see the family side of him and it was moving. I found myself holding back tears a number of times in this book. Thank you for writing this.

Faith building and an aspiration goal. This man is an apostolic pioneer and we are grateful for his ministry. He has been gone for many years and is still impacting lives incredibly! Read this book !
