His Secret Baby de Alexis Lee Babies And Alphalicious Daddies libro 1
Argumento:
A sweet romance. Cassius and Deira meet and feel a massive attraction to eachother and have a one night stand without exchanging names which was odd but makes the story more interesting. Destiny pulls them back together 6 years later and he finds out Deira now has a 5 year old daughter named Makayla. Makayla was honestly my favourite character. Her love for flowers is so adorable oh and pizza and ice cream lol.
Er weiß, was er will.

- The mc have no chemistry whatsoever, even tho they keep talking about a spark. Where honey, i don't see anything.
- I felt like she was selfish for denying her daughter the possibility of having her father in her life over the fact that she was scared of losing the custody of her without even talking with the man in the first place.
- Tell me why, the first time they met to discuss their daughter they did everything but that . Responsible parents i see... that's what i call Priorities.
- They couldn't have a single conversation the whole book every time they speak they end up fighting or screaming at eachother it's annoying. And why did the book made the H apologize over and over and made him seem like the villain while the h was the actual villain in my opinion , she denys him from seeing his child over the pettist excuses. like it's his child too. he has the right to be in his life, plus you're denying your daughter her right to have a father. it's her choice it she wanted him in her life or not
- I love when there's the H's POV usually, this is the first time i hated it with passion. It was just annoying and honestly pointless to be able to know his thoughts even with that i still preferred it to POV of the h ( i just hate her ).
- There's a lot of fuller chapters with no point whatsoever ( i don't need the same scene twice from different POV it felt repetitive) i think the story might have been better if it was a short story.
-"I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I thought he might have figured out that Cassius and I had a relationship, and even accused me of using our relationship to get the job. After all, it wasn't entirely untrue. If I hadn't known Cassius outside of the company, I might not have gotten the job. But to imply that I was somehow untalented and had only gotten the job because I slept with someone? I felt a spike of fury in my gut. "Like I said," I told him through clenched teeth, "you don't know what you're talking about. I got this job based on my skills." Honey say that again.... slowly.
Final thoughts:
The story had some potential but the execution was horrible. the characters were bland and i didn't like the h or the H, the story was so boring. I honestly wanted to dnf, but my mom didn't raise no quieter ( which basically means i had to finish it) and by 50% i just skimmed over the rest of the pages.
With an all expenses paid weekend trip to a resort, Deira and Dani enjoy everything this trip has to offer. Cassius is at the resort to "gain connections and possible clients and investors" for his business. Deira had admired him from a few tables away during breakfast so seeing appear in the sauna has sparks flying. A one night stand with no names being exchanged makes letting him know about the pregnancy impossible. A car accident six years later has them in each others life once again; this time having to face the reality of parenthood and it's responsibilities.
My rating:☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️(5/5)
By far my favorite accidental pregnancy/ secret baby book that I've read so far!!!! I've read quite a few and while I have enjoyed the books they were getting repetitive so it took a while for me to bring myself to pickup this book. Honestly though I got hooked from the moment Dani tried to bribe Deira into talking to Cassius. Their instant chemistry is undeniable but I loved how at every turn he respected Deira's wishes. His willingness to throw money into any problem and Deira's realistic point of view had them clashing in very realist ways.
🚨🚨Spoilers below read at your own risk🚨🚨
We all need friends like Dani and Scott! Endless motivators and people who will literally sit with you at your lowest and help you pickup the pieces and cheer as you try again. Dani is more than willing to do that for Deira at every corner even more after Makayla is born. Scott in his own way is there for Cassius whenver he needs him with alcohol and a listening ear only giving his advice when asked. Deira being a parent from the moment Makayla was born sees the dangers and responsibilities this implies. This along with the emotions she has for Cassius outside of him being the father is the reasons for many of the arguments and both parties try to see the perspective of the other; sometimes though after the argument has been done and they are replaying it in a much calmer thoughts. The ex appearing though was very unnecessary drama on the story (although to some extent a very realistic possibility once again). Cassius always respecting Deira's wishes when it came to getting space makes him that much more lovable! I cannot wait to get my hands on more books by this author!

In the beginning I thought It would be good, and it was good, up until the h started interacting with H. I felt like I was reading a string on events instead of a story. I couldn't connect and I didn't feel the emotions of the story or anything. I was drawn in to the characters or their story. It all felt really forced and fake.
The way it was written just wasn't my style. For the life of me, I couldn't understand Deira's actions or reasons for her to act the way she did towards Cassius. At every single turn - from the meeting, to the sex, all the way to the big fight, I just couldn't understand why she acted that way. And for the big fight, yeah he screwed up, but no one is perfect. It was a huge scare. But when they made up - it was so forced and weird. I honestly couldn't read all of it. I started skimming and reading things that I felt were relevant towards the end.
Then the author just piled on a whole bunch of random shit. This guy who hasn't talked to his parents in YEARS, is fighting with a woman because he didn't believe the attempted SA by her manager, then the estranged parents call him and all of a sudden everything is good. Just because something happened. Idk it all seemed too forced like this guy had it so rough here is a thousand things why he's in a bad place. Then all of a sudden he's changed because he saw his parents. Idk it was pointless.
They barely had a relationship. One night stand where they didn't know each other's names. A kid. A whole bunch of pushing away and arguments - and now they love eachother? And the kid doesn't even call him dad.
I really wanted to like this, the beginning was sooo goooood. It could be the writing style is not my type. Don't just take my word though. Read it yourself! Everyone has different tastes!

I found this book charming and adorable. I think my favorite characters were the kid and the best friend, Dani. I thought the characters were simple, but romantic. This book was a predictable read, but I do not regret reading this book. This book was a sweet, easy read romance. This book would be perfect for someone needing to get out of a book slump and have something easy to read. Had an epilogue, even though it was labeled as a chapter, it was an epilogue. This book had a good pregnancy trope, but it was my least favorite. I am more into the guy being there for the girl to help her through. But the title would not make sense if it worked out that way, it was still written well and cute. I think they said I love you and got married too fast, but I don't really understand the timeline since days were skipped between two paragraphs. For those readers who get the ick when reading this line, I know I do, the author used "I let out a breathe I didn't know I was holding." BUT she only used it once, not multiple times. Had the adorable cliché of chasing her to the airport and caught her before it was too late and professed his love for her. Tropes: Miscommunication - this started a lot of their fights Pregnancy trope One night stand Boss and employee Two POV Billionaire boyfriend Possessive male (kind of) Good girl turns into rebel for one night and ends up pregnant Independent women Sassy FMC HAE TW: S/A themes and for audience 18+.

ARC Received (Thanks to BookSirens) for an honest review
This book started off really well. There was a slow burn to the meet up and once they did both Deira and Cassius exploded off the pages. I expected a time jump due to the blurb but what I wasn’t prepared for was how quickly the rest of the book went. I wished the author would’ve taken her time a bit with Cassius and Makayla’s relationship. Makayla was such a remarkable little girl and I loved reading about her character. Also, the relationship between Deira and Cassius was such a rollercoaster where that spanned days that I couldn’t keep track of the time. I couldn’t remember if they were speaking or not. I really wished from about the book’s midpoint through the end could have slowed down just a touch to make it feel a little more realistic.
I liked all the characters in this story, specially Makayla. I liked that Cassius understood the challenges that Deira went through as a single mother. I also liked that he respected her fierce independence and found a way to help them while honoring her wishes. When he made a mistake I felt she was too harsh on him. As a mother I understand her being upset ( understating to not spoil). Parenting is an on the job training position. Expecting someone who has just been thrust into the job to know what someone with more experience with kids would know is unreasonable. Then she went from being so irate she couldn't talk to him, to forgiveness.

Deira and Cassius meet at a resort and share an amazing night together. Cassius comes home to find his girlfriend cheating on him. This has him driving away upset. He ends up in a car accident with a woman. He feels like he knows her but until he gets a P.I to look into it he doesn't know how he knows her. Its not long before he realizes that she's the woman he has never forgotten and that she had his baby. Will Deira give him a chance? Can they find a way to be together?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Deira won a contest for an all expenses paid trip to a luxury ski resort. While she's there, a man, Cassius, catches her eye. She decides to take a leap and has a one night stand with him.
Fast forward 6 years and Cassius and Deira crash into each other, literally. Deira recognizes him immediately, but it takes time for Cassius to recognize her. Everything that follows is a whirlwind of emotions. I loved Cassius' interactions with Makayla. I also enjoyed how much Cassius wanted to help Deira out.
I you enjoy second chance romance check out this book.

I am addicted to this book! I could not put it down. The characters draw you in, and you just cannot wait for the next page to see what happens next. Cassius is a fabulous alpha male who meets Deira by accident in a steam room. They hook up and part ways without knowing each other’s names. Fast forward a few years and destiny causes them to meet again. I loved the ups and downs, the drama and the hot sexy scenes. A beautifully written tale that makes me want more. I hope some of the supporting cast get their own books and we can catch up with Deira and Cassius again. Loved it!.

Deira and Cassius meet at a luxury mountain retreat in the sauna and end up spending a night together. Now Deira is a single mom to her little girl Makayla, and now 6-years later she is involved in a car crash, and it is Cassius who hit into her car. Will Cassius find out that he is a dad, and how will he react? This is an enjoyable story which is sweet, and with secrets, family, friendships, and love, which leads to a compelling page turner. His Secret Baby by Alexis Lee ARC Book Review Rating: 3/5
This book was cute & did have me hooked wondering how it was going to end. I liked the characters specifically Makayla.
I loved that you actually got to see how they met & interacted instead of starting five years later with their daughter. I also really love how the duel povs interlap so you can see what both characters were thinking at that time.
If you love second chance romance you should read this book!.

I am sorry. I got to 53% and had to stop. The FMC was just 🤦🏼♀️. She was so mean to the MMC and acted like he had ghosted her when SHE LEFT HIM!!!!! I am sorry. She was written to seem like she was level headed and mature, but I think she was less mature than her 5 year old. And MMC I just can’t. One minute he is a wanna be alpha and the next he is a joke. Just stop. I am sorry. Some others may like this, but no thank you. For me.
This was a cute story that I enjoyed. Deira and Cassius had a one time fling and then didn't see each other for 6 years. No names were exchanged so when they meet up 6 years later and he figures out she had his baby, he's stunned. After that, the story went pretty quickly!!! There were a few times I wanted to shake some sense into her for how she was acting but things work out and I loved it!
I loved this book. It was heartfelt and well-written. You can feel the emotions coming through the words. There were some twists along the road that I didn’t see coming but really deepened the story, plus a fair amount of spice.

I went to the retreat to relax, NOT to fall into bed with another arrogant prick. Life had other plans in store for me though. He’s rich, maddeningly hot, and an overall grump. We met in a sauna and things heated up immediately. A one night stand never hurt anyone… right? Wrong. I got ghosted. And pregnant. This was an entertaining read. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
This was an amazing story. It’s cute and sexy. A little humor thrown in. I enjoyed reading this. I look forward to reading more from the author. Highly recommend reading this.

MF, Second Chance, Contemporary, Romance. Easy to read with twists and turns...will they or won't they? Part of a series but reads as a stand-alone, lots of heat throughout. A fun read with some light angst but a guaranteed HEA.
they have a ONS, she ends up pregnant without a way to contact him time jump he finds his girlfriend cheating on him, gets into a car accident with the fmc and doesn't recognize her at the hospital but feels like he knows her
Deira and Cassius meet without exchanging names six years ago and have a great night together. In the present time, Cassius is furious that he found his now ex-girlfriend cheating on him and Deira is frustrated she lost her job. And this combination leads to a car accident between them leaving Deira hurt and Cassius wondering where he knows her from.
But Deira’s kept a secret from him due to not knowing his name. Is Cassius ready to be a dad? Will Deira be able to trust him after he screws up a few times?
Cassius and Deira get their happy ending in this stand-alone book in a series.
This is the author’s third book and I feel they’re still trying to find their voice. At times, the book read very childish and not well thought out. But there were open-door scenes making it a book I want to read. It was an enjoyable book and I wanted to keep reading all while wondering if the bedroom scenes were removed, could this be a college book that I tend to avoid?
