Bay Harbor has everything I Rich kids, handsome jocks, and a private academy hiding a decades old murder scandal.
But now according to the dead girl in the mirror, it's my job to solve. Great.
The police are no help. The trouble I’ve had with the law doesn’t exactly make us besties but with a ghost whispering in my ear and someone who wants me dead, I have everything to lose.
It’ll be a race to the finish. I just hope I get there first. Lies, betrayal, and hot guys I can’t have are just the tip of the iceberg in Bay Harbor.
The dead girl in the mirror might want me to solve her crime. But someone out there will stop at nothing to keep this dark secret buried AF.
And they just might bury me.
If you loved the spine-tingling terror of "House on Haunted Hill" and the sharp-witted sleuthing of "Veronica Mars," the Dead Always Knock is your next must-read obsession.

I recommend reading this over a holiday or weekends rather than a regular workday like I did. You won’t e able to put the book down once you start.
Jill Cooper wrote another great book with believable characters in unbelievable situation’s. She’s very creative. She always comes up with some of the greatest ideas for her books. If you haven’t read any of her other books I recommend you do.
In this book a girl Moves to a new town with her mom. Turns out she looks exactly like a girl who was murdered in this town. Everybody thinks she’s come back to life. But everybody’s keeping secrets about what actually happened to her. It puts her in a situation where she needs to figure out what really happened In self-defense. One of my favorite things about Jill Cooper’s books is that she writes clean books I don’t have to worry too much about language and sexual content. I can just enjoy the book and feel good about it. There were a few bad words but it wasn’t prohibitive.
