Love Has Consequences
Adonis is arrogant because he is king. His parents arranged for him to get married to Nefertiti. His best friend told him he had to switch up because he was used to women falling at his feet and Nefertiti isn't one of them. Nefertiti family put too much pressure on her, so she could get back at Adonis family for the murders and taking their land. The cat and mouse game and the tit for tat is ridiculous. She was doing her body guard and he was doing his favor for the moment. Nefertiti caught feeling for Adonis and his charm. Their plan back fired when Shanice got caught with the powered she was drugging his mama with. Nefertiti family turned their back on her when she told them loves Adonis. What did they would think what would happen she was married to the man for five months and had to intimate with him. Omari shot because she didn't stick to the plan. His mama forgave her because she didn't want to alienant her and her only granddaughter. It's going to take time for him to forgive her all because they still love each other.

Truly enjoyed this story from beginning to end!
At first I couldn't understand the hate. But I got it at the end. The way you never expect to fall in love with someone until you become intrigued by them. But love always win in the end. I just hate she was excelled by her family because she chose to love the man they sent her to marry.
