Finished this the other night and can’t decide on a rating. These books are simultaneously the most disgusting books I’ve ever read but also the most predictable? It’s all tell not show. So, if you see me increase the rating because it fulfills the function of making me so incredibly uncomfortable? You saw nothing.

“Let’s get rid of this foreskin shall we”

In the sequel to “Gomorrah”, Kelvin once again cranks the “extreme” dial up to bring readers horror without boundaries. Nothing is sacrosanct and no one is safe. It’s time for the women to get their vengeance as they turn into sociopathic killers in “Sodom”.

I have to say, despite all the horrifying, torturous and depraved things I’ve seen in these two books, all the eyeball stuff really, REALLY had me gagging! There was also a moment in spin the bottle where I had to put down the story for a break as I was starting to feel ill ( 🤰👶🏻🩸).

It was great to get a bit more info on the substance that exploded over the island in Book 1, and now it’s crazy to consider the longer lasting effects from this attack. I’m excited to see what the next book will put us through (“Inanis” is coming soon!!).

Be prepared when you pick up this series: your eyes and mind will not be able to erase the words and terrors within. You might become physically ill or mentally disturbed. So if you think you can handle it, don’t miss out on this brutal book ☠️

So... "Sodom"! The sequel to "Gomorrah" - one of the nastiest and most brutal books I've ever read. First of all, "Sodom" is thankfully short and always to the point: I don't think I'd be able to handle even more ugliness, even more abuse, even more guts and gore on top of the non-stop torture scenes in these incredibly well-written, but blood-soaked, hundred pages. Secondly, I was tempted to write an extended review. I really was. I usually elaborate on the less shocking details and hint at the most shocking ones. This time, I won't. Look at that cover by Renn White. You have one major hint RIGHT THERE! If you can't imagine what a woman's bloodied hand is gonna be doing with a pair of rusty scissors... Well, let me tell you: she's been horribly abused; sexually and psychologically; and not only by human males but also by a male animal; and she's under the influence of some awful drug; and she's captured her abuser and she's ready for revenge. One caveat, however: this is in no way the mirror story of "Gomorrah," with the women simply hunting down their abusers and taking revenge. No, that would be too simple... There's an overaching story here, with several interesting twists: the men now remember what they did, the women are enraged... Did noone think of the children? Read "Sodom" and get your answers here!

The highly anticipated sequel to Gomorrah is finally here…
It's the women's turn now, and we all know how women can get when they're angry. Time to watch the fuck out....

So this kicks off right where we left it in Gomorrah, with David and his neighbour Zoe, although, now, the tables have turned. Oh how they've turned….

Brutal, merciless, unflinching torture from the very start. You thought the men were bad? You better pray you never meet the women…

I loved the little nods to Gomorrah, giving us the full perspective of the overall story, and immersing you even more deeply into its horrors.
We also get some answers as to the whys and who's, and wtf's from the previous book.

Mistakes have been made, huge mistakes, and revenge, anger, and utter carnage are the terrifyingly brutal, relentless and remorseless results.. and no one gives a single fuck!

The sickest of sickening acts of violence, torture and murder so barbaric, and gory as hell, if you have any triggers, this book is going to trigger them, all whilst making you squirm like fuck!

The ending left me with goosebumps and chilled to my very core…

So last we left, things were not all tea & crumpets in the jolly ol’ town of NorthHamingamingtontonshireSouthEnglington. (That’s not the real name, but we all know I am a prisoner to my own schtick.) A mysterious substance has caused all the men to become blood-thirsty, violent, degenerates hellbent on killing & raping everything in sight. (Pause for irony.) Well, that was “Gomorrah” & frankly, “Sodom” somehow beat it out in terms of blood, guts, depravity, just…everything. As if there were any question before of who runs the world? Girls. Who runs the soon-to-be-drenched-in-the-blood-of-men world? Girls!

Quick synopsis:
It’s ladies night & the girls are out to play. Our final girl wants her former attacker to know there’s no hard feelings, she just wants things to be even Steven. Meanwhile, someone should be keeping an eye on the chaperones, because a bus full of school kids is in danger girl. Still meanwhile, a game of Spin the Bottle is going horribly wrong for a group of new acquaintances.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and these ladies are not pulling any punches. I remarked last time how I caught myself taking lots of mental pauses reading Kelvin’s Gomorrah, but this one was so much more grizzly. Maybe, again, cuz I own the equipment that was getting…dismantled…so much? But yeah, I caught myself being engrossed in what happened next, but my brain actively saying…hey, let’s go do anything else BUT subject ourselves to this? Like thank you brain, nice try, I’m looking to suffer here tho. Help out or it gets the itchy sweater again. Allison continues in being pretty unparalleled with his ability to make you feel & imagine everything you would never want to. I still stare off into space thinking about some of the things I felt reading this. It was very well done and felt necessary to even out the playing field from the first in the series. But wait, we are getting more additions! And as much as my brain isn’t looking forward to them, I…it’s owner, am. Highly recommend Gomorrah, Sodom, God, and in the near future: Inanis!

Just as gruesome and disturbing as Gomorrah...from which this book follows on from.
It starts off with Zoe now being under the influence of the missile smoke cloud taking out her revenge on David...and it doesn't disappoint at all.
I would say it's a little more graphic and sick🤮as it made me gag on more than one occasion!
Plenty of extreme moments that won't be for everyone...so approach with caution!!
There is one more book in this series..."GOD-The Prequel" 🐶🐕🐾 which I will now have to read to give my brain🧠 another dose of filth and gore!!
No problem giving this book a whopping 5 🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟's ...great stuff...well written and extremely exciting contents.

Well, F*CK me sideways!
I thought I knew what to expect having read Gomorrah. I may have been mistaken.
Several times I had to remind myself verbally "It's only a book."

Zoe absolutely shines in this story. The author has built up such an empathy for her the pain and perversion she inflicts is almost cathartic... almost. There were scenes when my imaginary willy twinged and I clenched my thighs together.

Ben is an absolute sh*thouse of a person, the disdain I felt for him was immense. Yet strangely the fact he had little control due to the bomb had you almost forgiving him. However I kept on returning to the beach in my mind and still wanted him to hurt.

I loved the way we were given the explanation of the origin of the bomb.

The ending is *chefs kiss*

If you thought Gomorrah was a tough read, then take it from me you haven’t seen anything yet!
Following on directly from where the last book left off, Sodom takes up the story of Zoe who - now finally succumbing to the very same virus that previously affected all the adult males on the Isle of Wight, driving them violently insane - finds herself driven to take her revenge on the neighbour who previously attacked and raped her, devoid of any emotion, in a desperate attempt to feel something…anything.
And like the old saying goes, Hell Hath no fury…

This book is insane.
Sick AND insane.
Almost as sick and insane, in fact, as the characters that Allison has created in this highly believable world - and just when you think the author has reached his absolute limit of disgust and depravity, he ups the ante once more.
I don’t think I’ve ever read a book, or a series of books, quite like it, and Allison, here, once more shows just how disturbing his mind works.
Let’s put this way, as a chef, I’m certainly never going to look at a speed-peeler the same way again!

If you are at all sensitive or easily offended, this book IS NOT for you.
If, however, you are one sick puppy like me, this book is easily just as good as the last one, if not better - teasing the reader with SOME answers, whilst leaving everything on a twist, ready for the next book in the series which if this is anything to go by, is going to get a whole lot worse!

One of my favourite reads this year!

“Now now, no tears, please, it’s a waste of good suffering,” she stated, frowning as she realised that she had just quoted a film. For a moment, she stayed crouched beside her prisoner, trying to recall which movie, but then she sighed wearily and let her gaze drift over the naked, bloody figure of David."

Sodom is the nastier, uglier sequel to the wildly popular "Gomorrah." In Gomorrah, a mysterious gas is released into the air of an unsuspecting small beach town. All men become bloodthirsty, torturous barbarians only seeking out women to commit their most heinous desires. However, in Sodom, the tables have turned, the gas has worn off on the men and has now taken over the women who wreak havok exacting their bloodthirsty revenge..

Again, I must preface this by saying this book is on the very high end of extreme horror. This is definitely for those who have absolutely no trigger warnings.. and I mean none or for those really wanting to test their limits.

Sodom really does test the boundaries of what human beings are really capable of. It's incredibly descriptive, visceral, and exceptionally brutal. I love Kelvins ability to keep you on edge purely with his attention to detail in the violence and depravity.

This is a great read if you're a sicko like me.. enjoy the carnage! 🤘🤘

“Hatred, dread, disgust, fear.”

The sequel to Gomorrah DELIVERS!! The feminine urge to rage out is strong with this one. 🙌🏼

So, I’ve read many of the reviews that have already come in for this book, and a lot of them compliment the writing and how well it’s done etc. I completely agree and mirror all of those positive statements, which is why I’m going to go full Danielle and focus on how insane this freaking book is. 💀

Welp, where do I begin? I suppose I could start with the fact that I can easily read 100 pages in one sitting, but took MULTIPLE breaks during this one… the first one being by page 10. 😝🫣

The torture and mutilation scenes are beyond creative and unique. I love a good scene with a potato peeler, and then another one with eyelids that I didn’t realize would make me squirm so much. Never mind the eyeball consumption. 🤮This is the type of book that literally hurts to read because you can feel the pain being inflicted in the story, and I don’t even have a peen. 🍆😳 I’m serious, I really did take breaks. 😅

By page 16 my note section literally said:
“How the fuck am I only 16 pages in and all this is happened already lmao fucking book is wild. I love this.”

So take that as you will. 😭💀😂

But beyond on all the depravity, gore and vileness. The story itself is amazing, the plot is fantastic and as mentioned in the beginning, the writing is superb. 🫶🏼 This is one I absolutely recommend people grabbing, especially if you’re looking for wicked gore fest of disgustingness done right. 🤌🏼

With the imagery and brutality of Gomorrah still very much living rent free in my head, I dived straight into Sodom. Hold my bag, I know what I’m doing….

Sweet jeezus! My heart is absolutely pounding at the pace and viscera. Zoe no longer the victim; her calm ‘creativity’ is absolutely horrifying.

Ben ‘awakens’ to his new reality. His guilt feels superficial, but I had such a strong emotional hatred of him in the first outing, so deep was the characterisation that he could have had a spiritual epiphany and i would still probably sneer at any attempts of redemption. It takes a master storyteller to engender emotions like this.

That ending. Bloody hell - that ending.

Hold my bag, I know what I am doing…

First, in Gomorrah, it was the men affected by the falling dust. Now the woman wake up to the need to commit violent acts, and it’s the men’s turn to run in terror.

Sodom goes full throttle with the nastiness from the first page to the last. But woven into all the scenes that made me cringe was a great story.

This is more than a revenge story, and more than a copy of Gomorrah only featuring women.

The affected women seem more calculating and the level of violence and gore is top notch for those looking for an extreme read.

Also, I’ll never look at a potato peeler again.

Jesus Christ. It’s the girls turn to be affected by the missiles. Gomorrah was extreme as was this one.
Zoe inflicts all sorts of profanity onto her victims one of course being David. I couldn’t help but cheer her on when she was bombarding him with all sorts of torture methods.
Another character Ben comes in and his story runs alongside when the men were violent and before he knows it it’s the women’s turn and he had to fight for his life!
I couldn’t help but feel sorry for some of the characters especially when it’s explained where the missiles originated from! Couldn’t ask for a better sequel to Gomorrah than this one. And the ending made me verbally gasp at what’s going to happen next!!

In the sequel to Gomorrah, it's time for the women to have their fun. I read Sodom and believe this one is even more gruesome than even the first book. Ben was an absolute dick in this book. Yet, I kind of felt bad for him to a degree as he wasn't in total control of his actions. Then again, not really, lol.

However, Zoe is the star of the book as she gets revenge for the events of book one.

Probably the biggest thing about Sodom is that we get an explanation of the 'bomb' and the true nature of what's happening. Kelvin pulls no punches in Sodom as I expected. This is not a book for the faint of heart and it will leave you asking questions about human nature.

The best part is that this is another book in the series coming soon. I can't wait to see what happens next.

“Let’s get rid of this foreskin shall we,” 🐓🔪

I loved the first chapter it was disgusting, vile and everything that I enjoy in a splattpunk book- it was described enough that I could literally picture and feel what was going on

I’m glad that I’m not a fan of kebabs because I’m only gonna see foreskin when I’m in the chippy 😭 the slimy cheese ass is also a picture that I’m not going to forget 😂

I wasn’t a fan of “bens” story did found it a bit boring considering what we encountered in the beginning of the book but did enjoy Zoe’s story and can’t wait for the next book to come out!

Three pages in & I was questioning whether or not I wanted to continue with the sequel to Gomorrah. I told myself that it would’t be fair to read all the horrible things the men did to women (Gomorrah) and not read how the women got revenge in the sequel.

But damn it wasn’t easy.

And that’s partially why I gave it 5 stars.

In Sodom, revenge isn’t just a dish best served cold. It’s one served in a bloody, gory, steaming pile of body parts.

“What’s the matter David, you seemed quite happy to see my body a little while ago.” – Zoe, Resident of Isle of Wight.

From that first utterance, this book feels like it is in your face, screaming “f*ck you, I am throwing you out of the proverbial frying pan into the deepest depths of the fire”. This reader ventures to guess that that was the author’s intent, to put us into the mindset of the people in that idyllic seaside town, from the moment that strange dust landed and terror reigned supreme at the hands of the men; to now, when the women are exacting their horrific revenge.

This book is the unforgiving sequel to Gomorrah, and it lives up to its precursor (and even exceeds it in my mind) in every way. What is it that they say about “a woman scorned”? Well, these women, they go well beyond what most human minds could ever conceive of… under the influence of what we know now is called “the Inanis Bug”.

My favorite part of this one was the gore… the deaths… the torture. My dark little heart was loving every moment. There was “skewering” and something akin to the visage of a “fire breathing dragon”, both inflicted on the human body; and those are just some highlights. I may have sent our dear author some photos of the notes on my kindle, so he could see my horrified amusement…

“Had it been deliberate on the part of its creator? To let the men cause complete havoc and destruction only to then be replaced by the women? Or had it been their psychology that had caused the men to succumb before the women? – from the internal musing of Zoe, Resident of Isle of Wight
This thought resounded with me, as I absolutely devoured this one, not only for the surface “splatter” but, the deep dive into humanity. I cannot wait for the 3rd book in this series to come out, where our dear author will delve into the origin story, the science of Inanis.

OK that was dark, my bad hee hee

I love that Sodom starts right where Gomorrah left off. Both being so memorable. The fact that they went back to the diner to give new characters a backstory was appreciated. So many things had taken place in that scene and now as a reader we get to go back and read some of the stories of what was happening around David in Gomorrah.
David by the way, yeah, I not sure my little sing-song did justice for what he endured, due to a lack of options. I also love that the missile was explained and extremely unexpected twist at the end, it shook me up reading about Zoe and Jenkins. I found myself nervous even. What a twisted, sick yet delightful scene, I thank the author for that scene, it was perfection.
Kelvin’s stories are one extreme to the next. Splatter Punk to the core. I recommend this book when it comes out in October to anyone who enjoys splatter punk

Sodom 🤯

Last week I read Gomorrah (review is on my profile) now It’s time for part 2…let’s get into it!!!

The dust has settled & the mist has left all of the males blood system’s. Now all they can see is all that carnage caused, all the females hurt & broken. Bloody bodies piled up & a huge cloud of grief. They cannot believe how they’ve acted, the haze has lifted & they’ve lost their loved ones at there very own hands 😔

Although the haze may of left the men, it seems to of be affecting the older women & they are raging, they want REVENGE 😤

Now it’s the Zoe’s turn & if there’s one thing I do know, it’s that female revenge is going to be more thought out and a lot more painful than any man would expect! It’s not just David that’s going to get it back ten fold 💪🏽

Yaaaaas to this 👏🏼 unhinged females killing off & torturing the males…I’m here for it 🙌🏼 I devoured this within an hour or so. Kelvin has absolutely killed it with this series!! I can’t wait to get to the third instalment ‘god’ now 🤎

This is ultimate carnage from start to finish, I love stories like this but please do check your triggers, pretty much anything goes in these! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Sodom

This absolutely wild book picks up right where Gomorrah left off and fills in a bit of what was happening in town out of sight in the first book. The violence is cranked up when the women turn on the males. Kelvin gives the characters more depth, but the action never lets up and I devoured this in one sitting right after finishing the first book. Bring a bottle of stomach medicine with you if you are squeamish about body fluids, eyes, and well everything because the author in dreamed up some creative demises. I need book three immediately.

Continuing the story on from Gomorrah this tale now shifts to the womens revenge. Extremely graphic mental images of gross horror are created so vividly by the author one wonders just how he manages to sleep at night?

In a weird way I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and found that I just couldn’t put it down until I got to the end.

If you do decide to pickup the works of Mr Allison be prepared , be warned they are highly addictive and extremely gory. You may have some sleepless nights thrown in for good measure. However, such is the power of his writing. Do not read or purchase if you have a nervous disposition.

I am looking forward to his next contibution.

I did the the first one better but I did immediately buy the 3rd book because I have to see how this goes! I thought this 2nd one would be more of the women getting revenge but it only really followed the girl from the first book and flashed back to another guy from the time period of the first book so it didn’t really move forward too much like I expecting it too. I am hoping the 3rd one does. I am definitely still invested.
