Just a delightful anthology comic with not a dud in the bunch. My favorite story had to be "Festival of Fights" focused on Kitty Pryde as she celebrates the eight nights of Hanukkah. I loved that the story subtlely tied in the iconic classic issue of Kitty home alone fighting a Brood. Just phenomenal, heartwarming stuff, which you want during the holidays.

Holiday Tales to Astonish #1 is a Marvel Comics anthology issue written by Gerry Duggan, Daniel Kibblesmith, and Gene Luen Yang and art by Phil Noto, Pat Olliffe, and Dylan Burnett. It is cover dated February 2025.

This comic contains three holiday-inspired stories. In the first the Fantastic Four are on the case when they detect a plutonium signature in NYC on Christmas Eve night. In the second Kitty Pride juggles rookie team duties to the X-Men while trying to buy Hanukkah gifts. In the third story Peter Parker and Mark Morales share a moment and resolutions for a new year.

All the stories in this issue felt pretty generic to me. I felt they could have some more interesting plots here. The art is good in each story and each story has a different art style.

Fun Holiday stories that I found myself enjoying a lot. Taking place in very different time periods of the comics timeline, not as distracting as I thought it would be.
