Decent story. The Children of the Vault have created a new being that is going through the timeline to pivotal moments in mutant history and absorbing them. He is trying to wipe out mutants all together. Tempest enlists the help of Bishop and Cable to stop this new threat. Pretty basic plot but not a bad read with some nice art from Ivan Fiorelli.
I love Marvel’s year ahead glimpse stories. It always tells a solid a complete story while showing us what could be this year. Lots of little looks at One World Under Doom which I am pretty excited for. But the last page teases the big summer event and I have no idea what it is but it’s cosmic so I can get behind it!
I disliked this a lot. First of all, Cable looks terrible all throughout the book, he doesn't have his fat ass broad shoulders with a million tactical pouches, he looks like a cable plush toy. Secondly, I really don't like the way this was written. Why is Tempus no longer in the White Hot Room, why is this the only time Marvel will ever expand on Doug Ramsey being Apocalypse's most recent Heir (glad they won't tho that story was awful), why the fuck is an ultimate universe incursion happening when the Maker isn't even freed from his fucking prison yet??? This book just confounds me, I have so many questions afterward and not the kind that keep me theorizing about the future of the franchise. Questions like why the fuck didn't Deniz Camp write this.

A new Child of the Vault is destroying pivotal moments in mutant history leaving Bishop and Cable to team up and stop him. Along the way they get glimpses of things comic up this year, like Ms. Marvel travelling through important moments in mutant history. This Steve Foxe guy's pretty good.
