I was kind of disappointed in this fourth book of the Standing in Holy Places series. Even though it talks about the two prophets who go to Jerusalem to help save that city and the grand council in Adam-Ondi-Ahman and the saints resettling of Idaho and Utah, I just didn't get as emotionally involved in it as I did the first three. However, I am looking forward to the fifth, and final, book in the series. This series has made the events of the Last Days seem very real and believable.

Much like Daybell's other books (at least in this series): feels rushed, contrived, and at times, confusing and weird. And yet I just can't look away! And let's be fair, there are some good scenes in here and you can tell Daybell loves his characters and his work and the Lord. So it's all good.

This has been my favorite book of the this series. Can't wait for the final book in this series to see how the author portrays the millenium and second coming.

I really liked the first two volumes, but found #3 rather dull. I wasn't sure I wanted to continue with the series, but I'm glad I did. I stopped last night on my way home from work and bought #5.

So much is happening now, New Jerusalem and Old Jerusalem. I love the contrasting/comparison storyline. Can't wait until I read Book 5.

Events take a darker tone, but it's always darkest before dawn and this shows that the dawn of the Second Coming is almost at hand. Can't wait for the conclusion!

LOVED this sequel! LOVE the whole series.

From this book I learned: Plagues are SCARY - best to have the Lord's input on being prepared for them!
