Enjoyed this short novella!

He is the brother of the last heroine’s book and I was very curious because of his love interest.
This is a safe author to me so I wanted to read how she writes an ex playboy… it’s not too much,
It’s mentioned twice in the book and he’s not that bad in that area… they’re very young!
The book is very romantic and super hot,
He is obsessed and devoted to her and is absolutely no OW drama! Interesting next couple in the series,
This people is too young for me but I like the author!

I read the excerpt preview for Crank’s book in the previous book and I did not like Crank. His inner thoughts were mean towards Libby the heroine. Then when he sees her as an adult he’s immediately in because she’s beautiful. Would he have felt anything for her if she was still the nerdy frizzy haired blonde who looked at him with love struck eyes? He knew she had a crush on him. I understand being physically attracted to someone but he knew her as a person, so he only now liked her because she grew into her beauty. He was just to shallow.
Libby, the once-upon-a-time mousy girl I’d never thought twice about, my little sister’s best friend, was suddenly the most beautiful woman I had ever seen.
Hector aka Crank is a linebacker at a D1 school and is popular with everyone. His mom guilts him into checking in on his younger sisters best friend. He has avoided it for a whole year at school and for years at home. When he finally agrees it changes his whole life. Libby had a difficult home life, she spent a lot of time at her best friend Blanca’s house where she had a crush on her handsome big brother, Hector.
Even with all her hardships she’s made it to college, her scholarship covered a lot but not everything so she works two jobs to make ends meet. One of her jobs is at a diner outside town. When Hector shows up he’s surprised to see the beautiful woman he knew as a young girl. He immediately thinks mine. They have an awkward exchange and when he invites her to a frat party she declines. To get close to her and protect her he gets a job at the diner and works every shift she does.
He is pretty much everywhere she is and they start spending more time talking and getting to know each other. He also starts with endearments and praise quickly and it confuses Libby.
After she agrees to attend a party with him he takes her to his dorm after one of their overnight shifts, they share a steamy kiss and sleep in the same bed. She also confesses that she’s a virgin, Hector is just a smidge shy of a typical manwhore.
They go to the frat party, where she has a good time meeting more of his friends. They leave early and she thinks they will now have sex but Hector acts the gentleman since she had been drinking. This confuses her even more, he runs hot and cold with her. She tells him she knows about his sexcapades, girls talk. This is where he gives her the “you’re different”, “you’re special”, “I’ve never said the things I say to you to other girls”. When Libby wakes up in the middle of the night they have sex. No condom! Girl you just said you heard about his sexcapades, why would you not protect yourself?!? She also goes from shy virgin to vixen real quick. Lots of good girl and praise from Hector.
He confesses his stalker ways and she says she guessed and I love yous. Epilogue with them playing out the stalker kink. No babies in epilogue.

I’m calling it. Time of DNF 74%.
Nothing is happening, it is so mind numbingly boring. Usually these types of short stories are my jam because they’re like BAM right out of the gate and I love that. I love all the insta-love/lust and full speed ahead into the relationship.
He’s super possessive and alpha (great!) and she’s super timid and innocent and frankly she’s annoying the hell out of me. They’ve yet to have an actual conversation. All she does is stutter and blush. At 74% they mess around and she’s ready to go all the way but he’s like “no not yet, it has to be special”. Man, get the hell outta here. 174 page book and I’m on day 3 of trying to get through it. I just can’t force myself to read one more word.

Argumento:

Mi humilde opinión:
Séptimo libro de la serie Obsessed Alphas, un romance universitario con el tema deportivo, futbol americano, con un héroe obsesivo, posesivo OTT, mejor amiga de la hermana pequeña y atracción instantánea.
El objetivo de Crank es la carrera de medicina y para lograrlo jugara de Linebacker para el equipo de fútbol de la universidad. Entonces su madre le pide que visite a la mejor amiga de su hermana que es lo ultimo que quiere, la adolescente que recuerda se lo queda mirando con estrellas en los ojos, pero Libby cambió se convirtió en una hermosa mujer. Una mujer que despierta su bestia posesiva y obsesión con apenas escuchar el sonido de su voz.
Crank no fue un acosador OTT, tuvo sus cosas pero estuvo bastante ligero con su obsesión por Libby, lo sentí mas posesivo y protector. Ella fue una heroína tímida y virgen que termina amando este lado de él. Los protagonistas no me disgustaron pero tampoco me conmovieron el corazón. La verdad espere mas química, me pareció que todo sucedió rápido y no me dieron mucho de ellos como pareja. En definitiva, no fueron de mis favoritos.
La historia estuvo bien, fue corta, dulce y sexy pero me siguen gustando mas los primeros libros. Ya quiero leer Stalked by the cornerback la historia de Dylan el amigo de Hector y Mattie!

I don't even know where to start with this one. Between the smelling mistakes, the punctuation, and the friggen repetition of lines, I wanted to gouge out my eyes. Did I mention there were also whole words missing or sentences that I had to correct in my brain just to make it through the book? Writing quality aside the characters were just boring. I don't know how many times Lib widened her eyes, or how many times she said "Oh", or sounded like a parrot repeating her words/sentences and even his words /sentences. At one point I was questioning if she even had a single brain cell. She tells him he's big and then almost on the very next page (or maybe 2) she says it again but adds "too" to the end of that sentence which makes no sense because no one said anything before and she's still referring to his junk.
This book could've been a whole lot shorter and in all honesty it should've because literally nothing happens in it. Seriously it's just a bunch of their inner thoughts on repeat throughout the whole book and that prologue at the end? Worthless. Sure you find out they are married and it's a very brief look at their life 4 years later but it's boring. It's just her walking through the street a bit nervous to meet him for I'm guessing a date? You'd think after 4 years of him "stalking" her she'd be used to someone following her, but nope. It was just a waste of time because again, nothing happens. They didn't even have kids, despite his need to "breed" her.
The only thing this book really did for me was waste my time and make me realize that I shouldn't deviate from the authors I do enjoy. Well, that's not entirely true. It also made me miss real authors with good, long books that grip you from the beginning.

Again, this was just okay. The MMC wasn’t interested with the FMC when they were younger and then he saw her as an adult and then he went all possessive and obsessive. Although the stalking part wasn’t shown that much compared to the previous books. The MMC was giving asshole vibes but as always, he’s different with the FMC. Also, having sex together for the first time and the MMC didn’t consider putting a condom (he’s sort of portrayed as a manwhore)? I’m fine with breeding, but this was just not it. Thank heavens the epilogue was okay and didn’t show they were pregnant or something, and their plans worked out.
So far, nothing really beats the first book of this series. I’m giving 3 stars for this.

I’m loving this stalker series with obsessed alphas. Hector is asked to check on his sisters best friend Libby and is dreading it until he sees her again. Instalove and obsession immediately. Hector falls for the girl he knew, but never paid attention to. He moves heaven and earth to make sure he is part of her life, and then shows her that she is his life. Other than breaking into her dorm room, I didn't get the feeling he was too stalker-y. I have read the entire series, and look forward to the next one.

This story was good just not my favorite. These two have known each other for years and Libby has been crushing on Hector all those years. However, Hector just thought of her as just his little sister's best friend. That changes when he sees her again. His feelings change in mere seconds. The story was good and straightforward. Great read.
Fun, quick, OTT read. I read it straight through and could not put it down. I would have given it a 5, but there are spelling and grammatical errors. I still recommend this author and her stories. I needed a fun, pick me up, and was not disappointed.

Loved this romance and mini stalking. Dr. Crank fest up pretty early about all the ways he was obsessed with Dr. Libby. But all the talk about breeding, I thought the epilogue would have at least one baby, someone was babysitting during date night. Still loved the series

Wtf 3/4 in, and he's about the monster like wtf.
What is this a paranormal book, and I'm just realizing it. Seriously, savage, wild, primal.
And what virgin wants harder, especially if she's small. Come on seriously.
Don't get me on, "breed." Is this a back woods mountain man book, and I'm mixing my books up.

Gimme All Mayra's Stalking Books
I love her spin on stalkers, like super innocent, but her MMC this need to be all consuming in their partner's life. It like you can totally understand what they are going through and that why I enjoy this series so much. It's romantic to me.
