If you want to try a vampire romance, but you feel as if you may have outgrown some of the others, PICK UP THIS BOOK! It’s so good! It’s very beautifully written and has just the perfect amount of spice, romance, and drama. It’s a fast-paced read and you’ll absolutely fall in love with some of the characters! I wish I could read it all over again for the first time.

Starcrossed Nocturne by Nadine Theiss swept me away from the very first page. This is everything I love in a paranormal romance and more!
Amara, an 800-year-old vampire, and Gabriel, a human medium, are such an unexpected yet perfect pair. I adored the twist of having the vampire be the heroine and the human be the hero, it felt refreshing and beautifully done. Their connection is instant, but it never feels forced. You can feel the love radiating between them, and Gabriel’s words? Let’s just say they’ll make you fall just as hard as Amara does (and you won’t even blame her for it!).
Amara’s backstory adds so much depth, she’s more than just a vampire; she’s a soul with centuries of pain and longing, and you can’t help but sympathize with her. And the side characters are fantastic! They push the story forward and make the world richer.
The plot twist was Jaw-dropping. I genuinely didn’t see it coming, and I love when a book surprises me like that. And the ending… honestly, it’s the perfect happily-ever-after for a vampire-human romance. My heart was so full!

I don't read much paranormal romance, but I was a Twilight-obsessed teen and I currently read plenty of romantasy, so this felt like it would be a good fit. The romance in Starcrossed Nocturne is the best I've read!! And the relationship is so... healthy, which was extremely refreshing. I also enjoyed the fast-paced storyline.

For a new writer, I was impressed with the style of writing. The storyline was well developed. The characters will live on in your head long after closing the book. Watching the story play out was fun and intriguing. Highly recommend!
