Imprisoned With My Best Friend's Dad is a steamy, instalove, OTT, forced-proximity, age-gap, opposites-attract, forbidden, curvy virgin gets her Dad's best friend romance. Emma is an 19 year old curvy, plus-size artist. Jacob is a 43 year old hunky, ex-military silver fox who now runs his own private company that focuses on taking down human trafficking. His best friend is Mike, Emma's dad. When Jacob sees Emma at her graduation party, he instantly knows she is meant to be his. She has crushed on him since she was 12, and she is 18 now. She is determined to show Jacob she is all grown up and things get hot and steamy in a closet until he leaves abruptly. Fast forward 6 months, and Jacob had gone crazy throwing himself recklessly into work due to the guilt. We see him being held captiv and tortured by Rafael, one of the traffickers. But when Rafael threatens Mike and Emma, Jacob goes ballistic, breaking free. He takes Mike and Emma to a cabin in Maine to try and keep them safe. But feelings between him and Emma only grow. What will Mike say? Can Jacob keep them safe? This book had it all! Love, drama, mystery, action, and steam. The chemistry was so hot, and we got a great HEA after the drama. There are some darker themes and violence, so be sure to read the trigger warnings!.

I wish MY Dad had had a best friend that looked like Jacob sounded, I’d’ve been in love and risked everything too!
Jacob, the MMC, worked for an agency that rescued trafficked children and had been taking even greater risks in rescuing them over the past few months in order to fight the guilt of having sex with his best friend’s daughter at her graduation party. His last assignment, in another country, had gone terribly wrong and he was caught and tortured before finally escaping. His insane former captor refused to let it go and determined to find and destroy him and everyone he cared for.
In the prologue, we learned that Emma, the FMC, had been dreaming of a chance with her dad’s best friend since she was a teen so at her graduation party she decided to pull out all of the stops and wore a knockout dress in hopes he’d notice. And BOY did he notice!! One thing led to another and she finally got her wish, only for him to run away and leave her in the storage room, alone, disheveled and ashamed.
Back in the present day, Jacob’s former captor has tracked him back to the US and hired thugs to attack him, his best friend and his best friend’s daughter in the cabin where they were hiding.
Isolated in a cabin in the woods, Jacob is finding it impossible to stay away from Emma. He’d regretted leaving his woman every day even though he knew being together was impossible but now, face to face 24/7, his willpower to resist was gone. She was HIS. She belonged to HIM!
This was a sexy, suspenseful, romance with an over 20 year age gap and her father’s best friend. And not just ANY ‘father’s best friend’ type of guy, he was a sexy silver fox (per my imagination) with the body of a much younger man (again, my imagination), honed through his many dangerous missions, PLUS he was a hero for rescuing trafficked children! It’s an awesome read with plenty of longing and lots of romance so if you’ve been looking for a love story with an ACTUAL story, this one is more than worth the time it takes to read it. 5 Stars!!!.

This author has always been able to bring us an excellent storyline with action, tension, love, and heroes. This one will also capture your heart. The story focuses on Jacob Jennings and the daughter of his best friend Mike. A mass email threat was sent to Mike’s workplace which deals with helping victims of trafficking. Mike made light of the email threat everyone received. But Jacob took it seriously and went into protective mode at the graduation party they would be attending at a local hotel. He hadn’t seen Mike’s “little girl” for some time now, so the beautiful woman who now stood in the doorway stunned him. Being a professional, Jacob showed no reaction, instead heading over to the buffet to avoid her. He didn’t want to betray his best friend by having feelings for his daughter. But somehow, he knows she is his. But when they almost took things too far, he ran off to avoid further temptation.
Rafael is a cruel monster who enjoys hurting people. It took 7 of his men to capture Jacob and chain him while Rafael whipped him. But Jacob never showed any reaction, ruining all his “fun” -- until Rafael showed him a photo of Mike and Emma outside their house! Jacob didn’t care what Rafael did to him. But he could not let Mike and Emma be put in danger. Even Rafael’s thugs were nervous as they watched Jacob’s anger rise until he actually ripped the chains from the ceiling, killed two thugs, and escaped! Rafael swears revenge and won’t stop until he tracks Jacob and his friends down and murders them in the worst way possible. He will stop at nothing to satisfy his own rage and now it’s up to Jacob to keep his friends alive. Will Jacob be able to protect the woman he loves and his best friend? Fighting For Their Forever -
Wow! This story went from zero to one hundred in the first chapter and didn’t lose momentum until it reached the end. I could feel the tension between Emma and Jacob with each page turn, which had me totally engrossed in the story. As I kept reading on, I found myself on the edge of my seat waiting with bated breath for the showdown between Rafael and Jacob, and I can say without a shadow of doubt, that I wasn’t disappointed. The showdown was epic and worth it, especially the way Jacob went into beast mode and dealt with Rafael after his threat against Emma.
Once the dust had settled and they were all free from the threats, Jacob and Emma were finally able to acknowledge their feelings for each other and work towards their future with the support of their loved ones. This age-gap romance story was an addictive read, that will take you on an emotional roller-coaster ride, with dramatic twists, action-packed moments, steamy encounters and a guaranteed happily-ever-after. I love reading taboo romance from Flora Ferrari and this one didn’t disappoint! Emma knows it’s wrong falling for her dad’s best friend but she’s been crushing on him for years and the connection is strong. Jacob has a dangerous career that puts Emma and her dad in harm’s way and to protect them he takes them to a remote cabin. There is a blizzard and neither can fight their connection and longing any longer and it is spicy! I love how protective Jacob is and how Emma can see through his “icy” facade. I definitely recommend this book if you love taboo romance, age gap, danger, and a HEA.

This had everything I love from a great book. Loved the innocent MFC, Emma. And the hard emotionally unavailable MMC, Jacob (till the mfc entered the picture). The possessiveness and protectiveness of the MMC, and the subject matter he cared so much about being one so tragic. It in real life being true and a real threat these days.
This was an interesting and exciting read. It was filled with spiciness between the characters, blood, gore, torture, death, sadness and a struggle with the age difference between Jacob and Emma. But through it all Jacob and Emma’s love grew even with the big age difference. And even gets their happy ending. 👍🏻

I love Flora Ferrari's books. She has given us another beautiful age difference story. We are taken on the journey that Jacob and Emma make together, also with her father, Jacob's best friend. He has a dangerous job because he works with kidnapped children and who are sometimes victims of human trafficking. Emma has had an eye on him for years and is in love with him. When she is threatened, they move into a house together and then sparks fly back and forth and things get heated between them. How long can they keep it a secret from her father and what will he say when he finds out?

Jacob has to deal with a lot of bad guys for his job. When Rafael threatens not only Emma who he considers his and her father he knows what he has to do. He has to get his woman and protect her at all cost. Can they find a HEA or will others make sure that never happens?
Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Imprisoned With My Best Friend's Dad is fun, quick read that shows the typical insta-love story Flora Ferrari is famous for. It has the instant hook to pull readers in and hold them enthralled until the story ends after a second relatively big snare at the end of the book. Ms. Ferrari usually doesn't put any violence in her books, however, Imprisoned with My Best Friend's Dad does tend to have a bit a bit more violence than most of her other books.
If the readers are looking for a book that will take them way from reality for a couple of hours with a feel-good book that hits all the rights spots, then Imprisoned with My Best Friend's Dad is just the book to read.

This is an age-gap spicy romance. Jacob is Emma's dad's best friend. Because of Jacob's work, a dangerous criminal threatens Emma and her dad. Jacob takes everyone to a safe house, where the story plays out. Jacob is an OTT alpha male who has been in love with Emma for a while. Little does he know that Emma is also in love with him. This book is action-packed, intense, and spicy. I enjoyed this plot. It is a bit violent but adds to the story's details. Excellent book!

I enjoyed Imprisoned with My Best Friend’s Dad. I didn’t give this one five stars because I just couldn’t get into this one. It wasn’t bad writing or bad characters, just didn’t love it. Jacob is best friends with Emma’s dad. Wanting her is wrong but he can’t help it. Emma has wanted Jacob since she was a teen but she knows it’s wrong. Danger is coming from Emma and Jacob will do anything to keep his woman safe. Lots of drama and steamy scenes. I would recommend this book.

Jacob is our mmc who rescue children from trafficking but when his best friend Mike and Mike’s daughter Emma is threaten by one of his enemy who has him capture. Once he escapes, he makes sure they are safe and they all go into hide. But either Emma or Jacob can forget their time together six months and now they are having to fight their attraction and chemistry while stuck together in his cabin. While there they fall more in love with each other but will it be enough once Mike finds out. And can Jacob save them once his enemy finds them.

Imprisoned with My Best Friend’s Dad is a stand-alone by Flora Ferrari. This is a fantastic story, but to me the title doesn’t match the story so it threw me for a hot second, however once you get into the story (I did very quickly) it’s drama and angst and spicy salsa. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for a great afternoon of entertainment.

Loved this hot and steamy book. Jacob has wanted his best friends daughter Emma since her graduation but after a little something at her party he disappeared for six months now he's back because someone threatened her life, Emma never forgot or got over Jacob but now he's back but are the feelings still as strong? I just can't get enough of these steamy books by Flora Ferrari. Imprisoned With My Dad's Best Friend is another OTT insta love story that may be forbidden but it's also undeniable. Jacob and Emma were a smoking hot couple but not only is she way too young for him but she is also his best friend's daughter. But after someone Jacob crossed threatens Emma, Jacob finds himself trapped during a blizzard with Emma and her father. Great read.

Let me tell you something, this story will keep in suspense till the end. You have keep reading and feel the tension between Emma and Jacob with each page turn. The showdown was epic and worth it, especially the way Jacob went into beast mode and dealt with Rafael after his threat against Emma. WOW! This is one heck of a story and a bit of an emotional roller coaster ride. I was completely hooked in this story and could not put it down. The story is about Emma and Jacob, her dad's best friend. He does the unthinkable, then decides to chase death, when he is captured by Rafael. When Mike, his best friend, and Emma are in danger he must act. This is such a good story with action, suspense, passion, steam and more.

This book is a fast read and insta love story with all the right feels and so much more Jacob has been her fathers best friend and a mysterious man but Emma has always had a crush on him but when Emma and her dad's lives are in danger can Jacob save them? It's a compelling story filled with suspense and action packed and chemistry and romance.

This story held you captive right from the very start, had you on the edge of your seat and never disappointing you in anyway. The tension and chemistry between Jacob and Emma was thick and radiated off the pages. An age gap romance that takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride with lots of twists and turns, plenty of heat and steam and action-packed moments to hold your attention.

This is a great, steamy, insta-love age-gap romance. It's full of intense emotions, events and passion along with a touch of thrilling danger. The characters relationships and personalities are displayed beautifully and the details and descriptions throughout the story are very well written. This is a brilliant love story. I enjoyed it very much. And I would highly recommend it.

It’s been a while since I’ve been completely obsessed with a story, and this one was so good. I loved every second of it. The drama and passion between these two is amazing. Emma and Jacob have an explosive connection that keeps building over time. I loved it.
