This Coloring Journal is a great way to embrace the shadows of your past and become whole again. The questions in the hidden journal really make you look at the things in your past and how you can embrace them to become a better person. After reading Surviving Amaris by Margert Ann, it is really interesting to see inside Amaris' mind and what she writes in her journal. I think this was a well thought out coloring book with a lot of love and courage. The relationship of Amaris and Slayer is really planned out well to make it feel like the things you would find a girl doodling in her notebook. I love the fact that they journal is hidden in the middle of the book. Definitely makes it feel like a safe place to explore my thoughts and feelings. If you didn't know there was a journal in the middle most would think it is just a coloring book.

I decided to get the hardcover version. I love that it had some blank pages to do whatever you like on them. I love that it's in large print and that it shows women in different sizes. Every page seems well thought out and beautiful. It represents Amaris' character and the ebook story great. Definitely worth the purchase if you love coloring while getting to know yourself.
