Ripple
Ripple is a collection of introspective artworks by Heikala. The artist invites the viewer to see themselves reflected in her experiences and walk alongside her as she finds her footing on a changing path. The pieces form a coherent whole depicting a cavalcade of emotions across the spectrum, all reaching towards a clarity of self.
To showcase this ambitious collection of works, we spared no expense to create a book that is a work of art in and of itself. We utilized several different printing methods and special effects, and chose paper types with particular care in order to reproduce the paintings as faithfully to reality as possible. The result is a stunning hardcover book that features all sixteen artworks in the collection, with glimpses of the creation process behind the scenes and writings from the heart.
