Heather Brewer is the pseudonym of Zac Brewer…but you can call him Z.
Zac is the NYT bestselling author of The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod series, as well as The Slayer Chronicles series, Soulbound, The Cemetery Boys, The Blood Between Us, and more short stories than he can recall.
He grew up on a diet of Twilight Zone and books by Stephen King. He chased them down with every drop of horror he could find—in books, movie theaters, on television. The most delicious parts of his banquet, however, he found lurking in the shadowed corners of his dark imagination. When he’s not writing books, he’s skittering down your wall and lurking underneath your bed. Zac doesn’t believe in happy endings…unless they involve blood.
He lives in Missouri with his husband, two children, and four furry overlords that some people refer to as “cats”.
This is a fantastic young adult (read teen) series about the coming of age of a half-vampire boy trying to find where he fits. I originally started reading it because my daughter was very taken with it and I wanted to see what she was reading (wanting to keep her away from the idiocy and angst of the Twilight series)...but I found myself getting more and more wrapped up in the story. A great set of books that you can share with your kids without worry...
the best books 4 boys!i had been fed up with recent books which no matter how good were annoying because they were targeted 4 girls.my idea 4 having a normal childhood 4 any GUY will be reading
alex rider vladimir Tod& "gone"series by michal grant.
any guy who read these along with percy, fablehaven, harry, hunger etc.will neither b a book addict nor b a hard "rock" with no love 4 d amazing world of books.
SO IF U R A BOY AROUD SAY 15 YRS,PLEASE DONT SKIP THIS.
Read the whole series. It was awesome! This was even a series I was able to get the boys in my fourth grade class to read, and we know how hard it is to get boys to want to read.
Punny in a YA sense, lots of references to Vampire lore like Bram Stoker, and Buffy, etc. Very quick read. Thought this was the first but there was another one for eighth grade... Probably won't go back and try it.
This was my wife's favorite book when she was younger. She said the first time she saw me, I had reminded her of the main character from the book. After reading I now understand why. It made the read all the better. This series will always have a place in my heart.
I think the chronicles of Vladimir Todd,is a wonderful, outstanding book that contains a lot of,Drama,Friendship,And also mystery. what really caught my attention is young Vladimir's life. He's fourteen, outcast ,only one friend, and half vampire, and half human. Life as him would be hard that's why i would rate this 10000/10
This series was amazing. The take that brewer places on vampires is one that I have not seen before, which is hard when people are putting out lots of vampire books every year.
