“If a butterfly can cause a hurricane,
imagine what you could cause.”
This book holds a special place in my heart, not only for its beautiful poetry but also because my husband gifted it to me for Valentine’s Day. The poems are beautiful and touching. It talks about love in different ways. It talks about how you can find love everywhere. It’s about connecting, understanding, willing to make change for better and grow.
It reminds you to love yourself, to take a moment, slow down and appreciate yourself. It celebrates the beauty of being in love with your significant other, finding kindness and warmth in strangers and the selflessness of pure, unconditional love.
What I loved most was how deeply relatable and heartfelt each poem felt. I cried over so many pages.
This book will always be one of my favorites, a collection I’ll cherish forever.

I bought this book when my partner and I started dating last year. I have been reading and annotating it since. It stirred up some very deep feelings of love and gratitude for him. It resonated with me and I found myself thinking about parts of it all year.

Very cute! I read this while my husband was deployed. I sent him a lot of these poems.
