I heard about this book after watching the drama adaptation - Prissana 2000 version starring Tik Jesdaporn and Taya Rogers. Even though I watched it 2 years ago while reading I could totally picture Taya Rogers as Prisna. She nailed the character perfectly well imo.
I wouldn't mind having a friend like Prisna lol!! Although she's super all over the place, you mustn't underestimate her intelligence and knowledge. Tan Chai is the model Prince charming - super generous, rich, intelligent, not a single pride can be found (but he has a tendency of showing off in the presence of Prisna, not intentionally though lol), and well respected. On the surface they don't quite fit because one is a highly respected Prince and the other 'not-so-civilized' young lady. I really enjoyed reading about Prisna antics - getting along with them boys and even holding her own against them; disciplining her students, and how she low-key avoids her mum's scolding lol!
Prisna doesn't only focus on the OTP but other characters including Prisna's family, their friends and some members of the royal family. It's such a fun ride reading about their interactions and the development in the relationship between the characters.
I would have really liked it if her Uncle Viraj was able to make it the wedding and even more awesome if Prisna had physically introduced him to Tan Chai's Aunt (Royal Princess). Both of them are single and I can totally see them make a wonderful couple. I highly recommend it!!! BTW, thanks Hamster for sharing both volumes in English on your blog ^_^
Oh one more thing - The character I so do not like the most is Pravij. He's so useless and spoilt rotten by Bojna imo. He can't even solve the tiniest problems, always running back to Bojna like some toddler -_-
