(thanks bob)the other from Anonymous calling me an idiot and making disparaging comments about my parentage and since I could not write him back I put my response here . I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries. Thanks for reading Dab10
I don't believe in Karma. I just think that what happens in your life is a consequence of your own actions, that's it. However, Dab 10's Karmic crackers made me doubt about the what-goes-around-comes-around state of things. The author delivers a series of entertaining short stories when Karma acts to change characters' lives. They are so credible and well written that I had to reconsider my way of concept life. Is there really a force that drives our bad and good choices? Is it true that if you don't behave yourself you'll be punished, sooner or later? According to Dab 10's stories, the answer is yes. Whether you believe in karma or not, the plots brilliantly teach you moral and ethic lessons, sometimes with the use of graphic and strong language that is not too much disturbing to me anyway.
I highly recommend Karmic Crackers to readers who want to spend a pleasant afternoon/evening laughing a bit and thinking about life and the consequences of making bad mistakes. Look out, people outside!
“Karmic Krackers” by Dab10 is a magnificent selection of short stories about Karma in all its shapes and forms: The first story takes us to a world where a series of seemingly random deeds help to prevent crimes and misery, small deeds that make a huge difference in the lives of people who need or deserve it. It was heart-warming and wonderful to read. Then the tone darkens a bit with theme of infidelity and betrayal and subsequent acts of revenge, of second chances and responsibility. Dab10 has wrapped into his krackers a lot of ethics and morality, goodness, patience and forgiveness – where deserved, while letting us enjoy the odd dish served delightfully cold. The book is a real pleasure to read, realistic, funny, witty and thought provoking. We are presented with some interesting and fascinating characters and dilemmas, some rewarding solutions to problems touched upon and a very warm feeling at the end of the read. Although this is a selection of individual short stories, the connection between them is very strong and works well to give the book a sense of togetherness and roundness. Dab10 knows how to tell a good story and to tell it well. While the narrative directed at the reader the twists and turns had a particularly strong effect for me, making this a surprisingly memorable reading experience. Highly recommended.
Very few will be able to appreciate the depth and beauty that this book conveys. A lot of it is mentioned in the first chapter but unless you have actually had such an experience yourself, you'll think this book is the product of an over-active imagination.
The stories are short, crisp and touching. The author does have a knack of blindsiding you with the way these stories end. It's almost impossible to tell till you've read the last line.
This book is a wonderful step in the right direction. From here on the author can go on to write even better and more engaging books that will suck readers in and give them the ride of a lifetime. I hope he does.
This is an awesome collection of short stories with moral themes. What Dab 10 has managed to accomplish is to tell different vetsions of morality without being preachy.
Don't mistake this for being light reading, however. There is sex, violence, and foul language. There are stories that tells us about what happens to some child molesters and gang members.
I think my favorite part of the collection is the story of the angel or entity who helps carry out the good and the bad to those who deserve it.
Don't pass this one up. It's a wonderful afternoon read.
Karmic Krackers by Dab Ten is a fantastic selection of short stories about Karma. There are lessons of morality, how the smallest thing can make the biggest difference to another person, and how Karma will get you--one way or another.
It was absolutely delightful reading this collection of short stories. The book is funny, yet makes you think, all at the same time. The common theme of Karma gives the five stories a cohesiveness. This is a book and author you will not soon forget.
