I want to thank Corinne Jullienne, author and Goodreads First Reads Giveaway for the eBook Kindle copy of Their Secret ~ The Harper Inheritance ~ Book 1 that I won in the Giveaway on Amazon.
Their Secret is about two families with many of them having secrets making a complicated plot. The first person with a secret or two is the elder, Richard Harper. His son Andrew has a few secrets of his own when he takes a cruise to nowhere to escape a forced marriage and meet JB joins the same cruise to avoid a date with a male model being promoted by her best friend. On the cruise Drew and JB run into each other and both end up injured and together to make it easer for the medical staff to take care of them.
Drew's mother and JB's mother are both keeping secrets. When Richard is murdered and his will is read some of the secrets start to be revealed. JB and Drew have just discovered that he is really Andrew Harper, the model for his family perfume company and she is the investitive reporter,, Josie Barone from viewpoint when the book ends on a cliffhanger to be continued in the next four books of the series. It is a good plot to the point where it abruptly end so it gets four stars instead of five.

This is the first installment in The Harper Inheritance series; it offers a blend of romance, mystery, and corporate intrigue. Set against the backdrop of a luxurious “Cruise to Nowhere,” the novel explores identity, deception, and the consequences of secrets too big to stay buried. It’s a story about love found in anonymity, tested by truth, and threatened by legacy. Compelling read

I really enjoyed this subtle book with some mystery and a blooming romance. I already downloaded the 2nd book.

For some reason I just cannot get into this book even though others say how good it is. I’ve tried to read it several times but it’s not working for me.

I absolutely loved Josie and Drew!! I was hooked from the beginning! The banter and how they came together was funny and entertaining. I love how at first they didn't know who each other were, and fate and circumstances drew them together.
