A dejarme marchar.

Romance author Penelope Wylde is the naughty alter ego of a rebel southern belle who loves writing extra dirty, over-the-top romances that are NSFW. She loves beach time, sunsets, and all the book boyfriends she can fantasize about.
Wylde readers like it naughty, a bit sweet and always with a wicked happily-ever-after and Penelope always delivers! No matter what you're in the mood for all her heroes are bad boy sinners at heart and will make you swoon for them on every steam page.
If you love your romance wet, wicked, and WYLDE, you're in the right place!
Dark Mafia Queen is book 2 of the Kings of Haven duet. It picks up where book one left off. Wow, this one was a super dark and steamy ride. Rhia and her kings, Sevastyan, Matteo, Roman, and Lucian, are still trying to solve the mysteries of who killed her father and their brother. Rhia frustrates her men when she puts herself in danger. I did not see some of the twists coming and still feel we have some outstanding questions, particularly around Mikhail's death. The reverse harem action in this installment is pure fire, and our poly group gets their HEA, but wow, it was a rough ride to get there.

Well i didnt see that coming! I thought that the one orchestrating all of it was someone else. It threw me. So much happened this last book of this duet. More dark content (like the first book) that might upset some folks but i like my books a bit darker so i literally didnt put it down from start to finish. I enjoyed reading the first book a great deal and this book was just as good. Plot twists, betrayal, lies, secrets and smoking hot men - Sevastyan, Roman, Matteo and Lucian. I just loved it
DNF@40%. Couldn’t do it. I really hoped that this book would be better than the 1st. There were just some things about this book that I couldn’t overlook.

Rhia was supposed to be back to help her brothers with the shipping company and when she didn't check in her brother called telling her that he was coming there to get her but her guys would never let her leave them. A lot was revealed in this book and the spice level was like a five alarm chili. Dimitri is was eradicated but he was working with someone else so they still will be trafficking woman. I will stop here.

If you're craving a whirlwind of suspense, romance, and intrigue, this book delivers on all fronts. As Rhia continues her relentless quest to uncover her father’s killer, another sinister mystery unfolds with the disappearance of young women from the club. While not every question is answered by the final page, the book wraps up the main mysteries as secrets are revealed and the culprits are exposed. Of course, the steamy interactions between Rhia and the enigmatic Kings - Sevastyan, Lucian, Matteo and Roman - are hotter than ever. There’s no denying the chemistry between them, though Rhia still fights her attraction and remains unsure whether she can trust these men at first. The tension builds in their fiery game of cat and mouse, until all their secrets are revealed amidst explosive twists and turns that will keep you hooked until the very end. After the more measured pace of the first book, this one rockets forward at warp speed, plunging you into fast-paced action and suspense, leading to a satisfying and intense conclusion. There's a slightly darker tone this time around, adding to the danger and the stakes, but the best part was that everyone was still standing at the end. With plenty of room for spinoffs or another book in the series, perhaps this is not the last we’ll see of Rhia and her men.
Well what can I say, this books left me with way more questions then answers and this is the final book. I enjoyed the book, but the ending felt rushed and it wrapped up in such a way that there could be a third book. They never discovered the true face behind the trafficking of woman and children. It is hinted that it is someone close to them ( I think it is Sevastyan’s father) but that is it. Like wtf? That is it that is all you going to give me. Granted, I am not mad about Rhia agreeing to be with the kings but I am mad that there are a lot of unresolved issues in this book and they get an HEA. It makes no sense. There are still more people to hunt. More people to track down to put a stop to the trafficking and that’s it. An HEA with a lot of issues unresolved. I wanted to know more! I wanted to know who is at the top of the trafficking pyramid. I wanted to see Rhia and her men grow and fight for what is right. This HEA isn’t really and HEA if there are still monsters out there that they can help take down. Overall, I am really disappointed about this book series. It was great but honestly it’s not worth the heartache since you don’t really get an HEA like you would expect.
Keeps the same adrenaline and sexiness coming as the first book
Dark Mafia Queen is the second book in the Dark Reverse Harem Romance duet and continues/concludes the story of the four Kings, Sevastyan, Lucian, Matteo and Roman and their one pretty young woman named Rhia Crowne. This book picks up where the first book, Dark Mafia Kings, ended and keeps the mystery, drama, suspense, danger, love and sizzling sexy fun going. The story does take some twists I was not quite expecting and there are some things that I thought went unanswered but it was still a great read that I enjoyed a lot.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Dark Mafia Queen, with Rhia's harem of Mafia Kings in an insta-lust conclusion to the groups duet. Fight scenes were distracting; a bit all over the place with so much being written about.
At least there wasn't as many grammar and spelling, plus contextual, when compared to the first book of the duet.
Certain questions remain unanswered like the person above Dimitri, the puppet master pulling all the strings; I believe the third person in the video of Mikhail's demise was them. They were never spoken of. Two more cents from me... I think Volkov Sr had his hands deep in the same pot as Dimitri. Zero anything in regards to Rhia's brothers as well.
Not sure if the author left so many open-ended points for future storylines. Would explain a lot.
Dark Mafia Queen picks up where book 1 of Kings of Haven left off and Penelope Wylde is in her element: steam filled RH, lots action and danger, and strong characters. Rhia and her men have more than chemistry, they’re meant to be partners in life. I love her dedication to her family and friends: she’s willing to put herself in harms way and this frustrates her men while connecting them even more.
Sevastyan, Matteo, Roman, and Lucian work as a team and Rhia has brought them a fierce, passionate, and compassionate woman who is their Queen. I enjoyed reading their story and look forward to more books, because Penelope knows how to keep my attention!!.

Ms. Penelope Wylde is back with the conclusion of this duet and I know I have said this once before with the first book, but you need to stop what you are reading and start reading this book right now. I mean WOW!!! As soon as I got this book, I dove in and I didn't put it down until the very last page. This book amazing and I can't wait to see what Ms. Penelope Wylde has in store for us next! I would HIGHLY recommend this duet and Ms. Penelope Wylde as a must read author!

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the end of the story between Rhia and her Kings. I must say that I was happy for them to get their future sorted out but still things I wondered about. Their story has not been without secrets, betrayal, danger and conflict. It also has plenty of chemistry, lust and finally love. I think that it started out great with the first book in the duet and finished good with the second

—>>> “ …you’ve let the wolves inside and they’ll not settle for anything less than all of you.”
Rina and her men (whether she realizes it or not) are rolling from one situation to another, and through it all, it is her determination to get to the bottom of her father’s murder and getting to the bottom of the disappearances of girls from the club (and perhaps other issues, too) which continue to lead them all on a merry chase. There were a few items which were not cut-and-dried resolved for me in this installment which is the conclusion to their story, but it was still a great ride of a read of them all finally trusting each other and becoming a unit.
Rhia and her men must face the truth and revelations that are much more than expected. I loved how the guys wanted to protect her from the dark parts of their lives, but her stubbornness made it impossible. That dynamic really made this story both emotional and entertaining. However, there were a few things that were not resolved, so hopefully, another story in this series can tie that up.

Just one of those books that make you think that women are so dumb. In this one, the main female keeps talking bout leaving and running away and she gets warned SO MANY times to run but it all talk and no action. Like she had so many chances and didn't take it talking bout "finding her fathers killer" when you know your father was part of the mafia so his death waqs inevitable. This book fell into the category of every typical mafia book there's nothing to make it stand out 🤦♀️🤦♀️
I thought that this book was a very good conclusion of the Dark Mafia series. With our main characters discovering each others secrets and the secrets about their loved ones this conclusion answers all the questions that we were left with from the first book. I did thing that the sex scenes were a little too drawn out and the actions scenes were a little to short but over all it was a fantastic read.

Rhia (Seraphina) & the four mafia kings: Book 2 of Kings of Haven duet: Reverse harem/ age gap/ murder-mystery/ enemies to lovers/ dark mafia romance: Must read part 1 first. Loved this duet. Plenty of action, twists, answers, and spice. I was hooked in book 1 and couldn’t put them down until I knew how it all ended. The kings and their queen are the perfect set.

This was an okay story but as with the first part I just had trouble connecting to the story due to the way it was written. I feel that stories written in the third person creates a disconnect and I find it harder and harder to read stories written in that way. But this is a me problem and I’m sure many people will enjoy this story.
The Queen gets her Crown(e), her men, her revenge, and all the love from her 4 kings. What she believed to be the truth had all been distorted and misrepresented to her. While working against her kings, she should have been working with them as they both were working towards the same goals. No matter what, they had no intention on letting their little bird fly away and she will be theres forever.
Good read. The ending just wrapped up so easily. There were some context errors again when the author didn’t keep track of who was in the room and who wasn’t. Also everyone just seemed to teal miraculously from a gun shot wound to a beating. So the star rating had to lower
Rhia is on her quest to find her father's murderer. She gets distracted by her four mafia king bosses. She's impetuous and headstrong, determined to get to the truth. Can she see clearly enough to realize her kings are not working against her?
This final book of the duo has action, danger, treachery and plot twists with people being different than they originally manifest. There is also love, trust and loyalty even to the point of death. Expect four times the steam and a HEA.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It was an exciting and action filled sequel that kept your attention all the way. I liked the unexpectedness that happened in this book. I'm glad all five survived and stayed together. It is good that they will keep Haven open.
This is book two of the Kings of Haven series and it picks up where book one Dark Mafia King left off. This is Rhia's story and her intense journey of love with Matteo, Sevastyan, Lucian, and Roman. From the drama, secrets, and secrets to the danger and the unexpected twists this is a steamy read and a great conclusion to the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
This second book in the Duet left me with more questions than answers. While it was darkly delicious and sinfully arousing, the story line and HEA left me hanging. I would love to get a third book with all the loose ends tied up and questions answered.
Penelope really brings this story to life, and it is one great book to read. I would definitely recommend this series as well as this author to my friends to read. An intense book with romance, twists and suspense that will keep you up reading until you are finished.
Great Conclusion! Overall, I think it was a great ending to the duet! There were twists and turns, edge of your seat moments, and some things are revealed. It was also full of danger, drama, lots of feels, and delicious steam.
