Brandon Q. Morris is a physicist and space specialist. He has long been concerned with space issues, both professionally and privately and while he wanted to become an astronaut, he had to stay on Earth for a variety of reasons. He is particularly fascinated by the "what if” and through his books he aims to share compelling hard science fiction stories that could actually happen, and someday may happen. Morris is the author of several best-selling science fiction novels.

Dieser Abschluss fand ich eher schwach, nachdem die beiden Vorgängerbande für meinen Geschmack nicht schlecht waren.
Ich fand die Sprache etwas zu einfach, die Wissenschaft sehr spekulativ und wenig glaubhaft, die Handlung nicht nachvollziehbar und die Charaktere infantil. Der Hund auf einer wissenschaftlichen Anlage (Ein Gravitationswellen-Observatorium auf dem Mond) fand ich zwar witzig aber nicht glaubhaft.
Auch eine private Raumstation mit einem 4-Sterne-Koch als Attraktion und Captain kann ich nur mit einem Kopfschütteln akzeptieren...
Nur sein wissenschaftlicher Anhang, bei dem es um kosmische Trojaner geht, fand ich wieder großartig...

Good science takes a long time to filter through my brain. This is rated PG-13 since children and most teenagers win get lost in translation.
I survived all three books.

The Earth is disappearing!

The monoliths appear to be some form of reality projector, so the consequences of damaging the one on the moon are more severe than originally thought. The Earth disappears. It is still there but only 97% of the time, decreasing by 3% each day.... The molecular bonds are breaking down making things more malleable than they should be....
As those on the Moon and the quasi-satellite RD-2046 learn more about the monoliths (the former from observations and theory, the latter from interacting with it and other life forms associated with it), they both have theories on how to fix the problem, but which is correct?
In this high stakes thriller, there is some suspense, surprise, betrayal, mutiny, theorizing, fighting(!), and much more to make an entertaining conclusion to the Luna Monolith trilogy.

The Lunar Monolith Series

Very good reading. A lot of action throughout and an interesting and exciting ending. If countries could work together in crisis then put their egos aside, think of would get done in the World

Upset that this trilogy is coming to an end. The Earth is in the hands on astronauts from around the world, while trying to determine who you trust to have the universe's best intentions in mind. Thrilling from beginning to end.

too many technical details

I have really enjoyed his other books. But this one and the second book in the series, in my opinion are too heavy on the science and too light on the story.

The entire series is disappointing. Not really hard science at all. Mostly junk, with some modern science buzzwords. If you like hard science fiction, this series is a pass.
