Raw. Real. Emotional Romance. Writing provocative and darker themed romance that always finds its happily ever after!

With 50 plus, full length books there is a story for everyone!
Cowboy romance? Got it! Small town... yep. Big city rock star? Covered! You like a little suspense? Yep, got a few of those too.

Most of my books are standalone stories in connected series. Whether it's the setting, theme or family connections, my series are often multi-generational and span decades. While each book is a complete story, beloved characters will pop in and out of these sagas. I stick to new adult, contemporary and western romances, with tons of emotion and all the feels tucked into them.

I live in the rainy area of Western Washington, and spend as much time as I can traveling to destinations all across the state, where I do all things outdoors.
Many of these locations become the settings for my books.
I earned my business degree from Western Washington University, and worked for several years in the construction management field before turning to writing full time.

Complex cast of characters that are each hiding their own secrets. It was interesting getting to know the real Sarah and her history after her being just a secondary character in the previous books. Its hard to write a detailed description on this book because of the amount of secrets that all the main characters were keeping. I really liked the secondary character Angie, who was the pregnant niece of the hero of the book. The author wrote a realistic view of what a teen goes through when they get pregnant who was already suffering from self esteem issues from having a mother that was never supportive and stingy on showing any affection. Even though the decision that Angie had to make at the end of the book on what to do with the baby was heartbreaking in terms of Angie it was the right decision for the baby. I look forward to getting to read her story in the next book.

Secrets

This book is about Sarah, who we met in the previous books in the Seaclusion Series. It starts by a young girl, Angie shoplifting in Sarah's store. She calls the parents, or uncle in this case, instead of the police because she feels the teen is acting out. Scott (the uncle) is a little put out that Sarah does not remember him from high school. He had a huge crush on her. Later she realizes the girl stole a maternity top, so she calls for a meeting with the uncle and mom this time. While they are there she gets what she believes to be a prank call. Sarah ends up offering Angie a job in her shop, as she is drawn to her and really likes her. Scott and Sarah are both the ones that Angie can count on, and they both accompany her to her first pre-natal appointment. Sarah is drawn to Scott because she sees his tender side and how he relates to his niece. Scott is concerned about the calls, and is the only one Sarah can think of to call when things escalate. Scott and Sarah have some serious chemistry. She sees the good and him, and wants the best for him. After meeting her family, he finds that Sarah is much more than he thought. The stalker brings them together, but with their relationship be able to withstand all of the secrets they are both harboring? Will Vanessa (Angie's mom) finally send Sarah packing since she has never liked her and is mean to her every chance she gets. Will Scott realize that he really loves Sarah and be able to change his ways? Will Sarah be able to become more spontaneous, and less perfect? Read on to find out..., Oh and to find out what everyone's secrets are! Another great book by Leanne Davis!

When I signed up to receive the ARC of this book, I read the first book in the series. (it’s free!!) From that book, Sarah was not my favorite character. This book introduces a whole new side of Sarah, although she probably redeemed herself some in book two. In this book Sarah is happily running her shop in Seaclusion and becomes reintroduced to Scott from high school when his niece decides to steal from her store. Once the teen reveals she is pregnant, Sarah seems to be the only one she will talk about it with. At the same time, Sarah is being stalked and the incidents keep escalating until Scott decides to move her into his home.
With all the secrets, the story keeps you guessing both with the stalker and other aspects of each character’s relationships. Really enjoyed this book so much more than book one. Always impressed when an author can restore a character like she did with Sarah.

A Great Read

I loved this third book in the series. I really didn’t care for Sarah in book one. I liked her in book two. In this one I love her! She is a very different from what I thought she was and the secrets about her family are heartbreaking. Scott is a man whore and proud of it. His only redeeming quality at first is his devotion to his niece, Angie. When Angie shoplifts from Sarah’s shop the two meet and the sparks fly. we have shoplifting, teenage pregnancy, a nasty vindictive woman, prank phone calls, a stalker and some hot steamy sexy scenes. It seems Scott has a whopper of a secret too.

Two people with big secrets. At first I couldn't picture Scott and Sarah together- and I of course didn't like Sarah in the first book. But as I got to know them further in the story, I began to root for them. Though when first finding out Scott had a secret, I couldn't imagine what it was and the story kept me guessing. Eventually, I had a theory and was actually right- though my reason for the secret was wrong.
This story, like ill from this series, sucked me in and left me feeling wrung out. In the way a good book does.

*I am leaving an honest and voluntary review after receiving this book as an arc.

Loved this one

Sarah is busy running her store Sarah's secrets when one day a girl tries to steal a blouse. Angies guardian is Scott who remembers Sarah and is put out that Sarah doesn't remember him!
Sarah has had a few prank calls in the shop but they then start to turn more serious when she is being stalked!!
Scott has reasons why he hasn't had a serious relationship until now but will he and Sarah be able to be together with everything that is hanging around in the background?

This is the 3rd book by Leanne Davis in the Seaclusion Series. Angie comes into Sarahs clothing store, Sarahs secrets. Before Angie can leave Sarah catches her shop lifting. She calls Scott, who Angie says is her mother boyfriend. Scott knows who Sarah is but Sarah doesn't remember Scott. These 2 keep get thrown together. They both feel the chemistry but never act on it. I am really enjoying the Seaclusion series. There was some twists that i didn't expect. I haven't found a book by Leanne Davis that i haven't liked.

Sarah is more than meets the eye. She's well put together and successful, but she has a need to manage everything. She's sweet and well-meaning, but a little controlling. Scott is a puzzle. He presents himself one way, but he tends to act another way. It was a little confusing. Obviously they are both hiding things that will leave you perplexed...at least I was. I do think they balance each other out and Scott is there when Sarah finds that she's not as put together as she normally is, and she sees in Scott things that he can't see in himself.

Secrets is third book in the Seaclusion series. I enjoyed reading Sarah and Scott's story just as much as the first 2 books. It was a fast paced, easy read and difficult to put down. I became so wrapped up in the story that I was blinded sided by the twist when the book got to Scott's secret. At that point was when I realized who was Sarah's possible stalker. I was only half right. I'm glad this pair got their happy ever after. Looking forward to reading the final book in this series in the near future.

Leanne Davis delivers another page turner filled with her trademark realistic and flawed characters that readers will fall in love with and root for. This book tugs at the reader's heartstrings a bit more than the previous 2 books in the series, especially the scene right after the birth of the baby (helpful hint, have a tissue handy for reading that chapter.) Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Is it just me, or does this series just keep getting better?? I'm so happy that Sara has her own book! This is an emotional book that will keep you on the edge of your seat, you never know what's gonna happen next! Every time I thought I had it figured out, nope!! There is so much going on with Sarah, but through it all she always looks out for Angie, putting her needs and feelings on top. This book hit me hard! I cried, I laughed, I cried some more, but man did I love it!

Well wow...this book starts off with someone helping out someone in trouble. A troubled teen who is pregnant then come to find out there is a lot to helping her. Running into an old high school friend who feelings they thought had gone but trying to help out this girl brings alot more to the story. Secrets and things that might just make things hard to go forward. Also tough choices that teens who are having babies have to make. Well written book.

This story had so much potential. The plot was good. The storyline was choppy. Thoughts and self-dialogue was repetitive and distracting. I couldn’t relate to Scott and Sarah. The only good characters were Angie and Cookie, the dog. I really wished I could have rated this one higher. It just left me disappointed. I do plan to go back and read the first two books in this series and read book 4.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book.

Sarah Langston owns the store "Sarah's Secrets" and when she catches Angie Peters she immediately calls in her parents, knowing that the girl needs help and not to be punished. There is something about Angie that makes Sarah want to protect her so she asks Angie to work in her store with her.

Scott Delano comes to pick up Angie and is somewhat angry at Sarah for not recognizing him from high school. He agrees to let Angie work with Sarah but it's obvious he still wants to stay as far away from Sarah as possible.

When Sarah begins to get weird phone calls and pictures sent to her it is clear she has a stalker. Although Scott is trying to keep as much distance between them as possible it is also clear he wants to keep her safe from whomever is after her. As Sarah and Scott begin to get closer, the police begin to narrow in on a subject and will Scott's secrets cause him to be charged?

This is probably my favorite book in this series and one of my favorite ever written by the author.

In the first book I really didn't care for Sarah but by the end of the book and in book two I began to like her more and more. In this book you learn so much more about her and realize that she has gone through so much and it is no wonder that she keeps to herself and her very close friends. I can't imagine going through what she did and everything with her family.

Scott begins the book as such a jerk and it was obvious that he really judged Sarah from the past in high school and thought she had a perfect life. I wasn't clear what was going on with him and Vanessa, Angie's mom, but their relationship was not conventional. I understood why Scott felt he had to be there for Angie but at the same time it was a little weird as she was his brother's daughter and not his. That being said it was perfect for the book and how everything went.

There was so much chemistry between Scott and Sarah but at the same time it was more than that with Scott's obvious dislike of Sarah and how she was in the past, or more how he perceived her to be. Yet Scott was so jealous over Sarah's close friend Brett Carlton. Scott wanted Sarah but he knew he had secrets that she couldn't find out.

I was not expecting the things with Angie and her baby but I liked how it tied everything in together. My heart broke for her but she was definitely realistic about everything and I really liked that.

The stuff with Sarah's family blew my mind and I can't imagine what she and her brother, Sean, had to go through growing up as there was no communication at all. It made other things, like Sarah's eating habits, make complete sense and I was just so broken reading about what she had to deal with on her own.

Stalker was so freaky and I can't believe how close the person got to her on so many occasions. I was glad that Scott always took the threats seriously and was there for her.

Towards the end I was worried about everything that was going on between Sarah and Scott but I knew why Sarah had to leave. When Sarah comes back I was blown away by what I learned and I was so mad!! I do really think Vanessa took complete advantage of Scott and it really made me mad!

The very end was awesome and I loved the way it ended!!

Looking forward to the next one!

"Yes you did! No I didn't!"

The entire book was full of arguing about what the H/h did, said or thought that the H/h misunderstood or assumed! It took away from the whole story for me, and I didn't see or feel the love between them. The characters weren't very likeable, except for Cookie, and some of their actions just didn't make sense to me. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it didn't. Even the final "big reveal" fell flat. Can't recommend this one.

Good storyline but...

I couldn't get past the many, many grammatical errors. They really threw me, and I found myself rereading a certain paragraph over a few times because it just didn't read right. I finally stopped reading about halfway through. I was a little bummed, because I really think the story itself had a lot of potential, but it wasn't worth it to me to finish.
