Slightly too simple for me. I’d recommend this for anyone who is starting to think about money, budgets or tackling debt as a first step. Not recommended to those who have already finessed their money habits

Honestly wouldn’t reccomend tbh - I feel bad writing bad reviews but I just did not enjoy it and I feel like it takes a lot for me not to like a book. I think there were a couple chapters I enjoyed but there are other money books I’d rec over this sorry

Part personal finance guide, part self-help book, part feminist manifesto. Essentially reading for all women.

Loved this book. This book is a shame free action plan for taking hold of your life and your finances. Where was this book when I was in my 20s and 30s? I have read Victoria’s newsletter for a while now and was super excited for this release. It is a book that is written in her signature style and definitely made me laugh out loud at some points (sorry early morning train zombies). If you need a plan and need some relevant tips for how to sort out your life through your finances or if your are struggling with money seeming to flow out of your bank account with no clear plan for staying on top of adulting - then this is the book for you. I am off to set up a new hot bitch sinking fund! Read this book and become a “bad bitch” with money!

Loved this book!!! Money books scare me a little and this is because I don’t want to admit my financial literacy is very low. But this book has given me a new perspective on money and it’s not so scary now. I actually feel like I have more control over my finances and feel confident with the skills I learnt from this book!
I highly recommend this as a first financial book if anyone else is was like me and get nervous in the financial section at the book store. I’m excited to start another financial book now! ☺️

recently read Know Your Worth, and it truly resonated with me. The book offers a powerful reminder of the importance of prioritising yourself and your needs. I particularly appreciated the references to other books that deepen the understanding of personal worth, providing a broader perspective. This book has been incredibly helpful in unpacking the emotional baggage I’ve carried, especially regarding my spending habits. It’s a great resource for anyone looking to cultivate a healthier relationship with themselves and their finances. Highly recommend it! Thank you, Victoria, for writing such an insightful and empowering book.

Such a funny, engaging finance book with real life (anonymised) stories from the writer’s experience as a financial councillor. It meets you where you are, from struggling to make ends meet to figuring out what to do with surplus income. I’ve never read a more inclusive and digestible money book. Perfect for the time we find ourselves in, where the cost of living is high, and it’s not feasible for many people to own our own homes. Read it for yourself, and to gain greater empathy for those around you.

This book is like the saying ‘give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime’ except for personal finance.
So many times I’ve been given a budget and stuck to it for a short while, with some success, but always falling back into old spending habits. I feel this book has finally taught me how to fish!! I’m examining my spending habits with a new mindset, and making conscious and lasting changes in the way I view my money.
10/10 love this book!!

No matter what stage you are in with your money journey, this book has something for everyone. Such a refreshing book to read in this genre. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Absolutely loved this book and the authors witty, relatable stories and comparisons. It feels like having a chat with a good friend about finances but in a positive, humorous and helpful way! Everyone can learn something about finances and themselves from this read. My savings account has certainly benefited from this book! I owe the author a few lattes!! Can’t wait for the next one!

A fantastic guide to handling your finances! This book encourages you to dig deep and find the WHY behind your habits. A thorough yet easy to read step by step on how to meet your financial goals. This book was extremely relatable and didn’t contain boring un-relatable text. I felt as if I was having a conversation with Victoria as opposed to attending a lecture. Would 100% recommend!

Love love loved this book so much! Victoria has such a way with words. She breaks down concepts that in themselves can be quite difficult to grasp, but the way she does it is easy to understand and also sometimes hilarious.
Can’t wait until my daughter is old enough to read this to!

AMAZING! One of my favourite non fiction books to date and taught me so much about the psychology behind money and what it means. Couldn’t fault this at all and a lot of tips in this book are going to help me financially, long term

This was an absolute joy to read. Know Your Worth balances uplifting and empowering money commentary with necessary real talk to leave you feeling engaged and informed when it comes to your finances. Victoria's work in financial vulnerability underpins so much of the meaning in this book, and sets it apart from anything else in the category. You will feel seen, heard and held by this book, and you'll be endlessly glad you read it.

I read this all in a day - what a wonderful start to the year. Victoria has managed to do what a lot of authors of other finance books haven’t managed to do; make “money talk” gentle. I’m a 33 year old gal who has only started her money journey very recently and I really love how this book felt like a warm hug from someone I love and trust. Please write more books!
