When Prince Leonhart suddenly sprouts a pair of lion ears, it exposes his secret to Bernard Gramwell, a noble from the rival Kingdom of Eltrea! Bernard offers a deal: He'll keep quiet about Leonhart's unusual condition...but only if Prince Leonhart agrees to a duel!
As Cordelia learns that Leonhart's right to the throne--and their very engagement--depends on keeping his secret, she vows to secure their future, no matter what it takes. Their love is on the line in this grand finale of the count's daughter's tale and the beastly prince who stole her heart!
Putting the dates it took me to read this series. It was fine - I really enjoyed the MCs and would have loved to spend more time with them but unfortunately this also was in a rush. The first volume felt like it could have been four volumes of material on it's own. Villains are shunted out of the story within chapters so there's never stakes that last. I would have loved to see more of the titular sister - she was a spoiled brat and a moron and I loved seeing her being a trouble-maker who just made everyone else's lives harder because she's never heard the word 'no'.
If you want to get into Otome Isekai as a genre, check out this series. It's quick and it gives you effectively an amuse bouche of the concept within 4 volumes.
This was a painfully bad ending, with many plot twists on the level of "Somehow, Palpatine returned." Just... so much clearly left hanging, but I don't think I actually care about that because at some point I just had to turn my brain off to get through this. At least it's out of my life now.
Not the best final volume...This felt like they were trying to fit another 1 or 2 volumes into this one and stuff was rapidly/randomly introduced to then be almost immediately wrapped up and also somehow left hanging.
