That book was my everything.

I love this, even though Dokja Kim is pretty much a reader of a single book for 10 years -those webnovels can get pretty long lol- I still love how this manhwa is talking about reading and story and being a reader all the time, it's beautiful i love it.
Can i steal a line from The Great Neil De Grasse Tyson?
Here is what keeps me up at night, we are 136 chapters in, and we are still in the 6th scenario, in a story that will have 50 scenarios, that should end somewhere after 500 chapters, Are you following how scary this is?
We can deduce that probably we won't read about all scenarios from this, but we will see, let's enjoy the journey, despite the scary thought.

All human beings are prisoners they all live in cells of their own making.

What up with the feud between Korea and Japan? i need to google that, about that area of the world i only know that japan and china fought many wars, i have no recollection that Japan and Korea fought.
I mean it makes sense a little, from an entirely business perspective, Because Manwha (Korea's comics) are pretty much trying to pull the rug from under Manga's (Japan's Comics) feet.
I think so far from what i am seeing, they have ways to go, the art in Manhwa feels like it has no soul, even though it's all colored, there is something that feels really computerized about it.
And even though this is only my second Manhwa, what i can say about the writing and the story, isn't much either, it's still pretty rudimentary, i love Omniscient reader's viewpoint, but I can't in good conscious compare it to 20th century boys or Berserk or even I am a hero.
It's still good story, way better writing than the way more successful solo leveling (Which goes on more to show how shallow the entire industry is) it lays the feels heavily which we all love and adore.

Maybe this is the vilest form of violence i can use against Sangah who was raised in a happy home.

This one hit me right in the eye lol
Like Fuck, i should know better, but obviously i still need to control myself more, about sharing, oversharing, or who i am even sharing with.
Because i pretty much did what Dokja did with Sangah, why are you sharing your miserable life with someone who never had a miserable life, who always had it good, who never went through what you went through, you are pretty much torturing them, it wasn't your intention, but it's the end result, most people would rather just shut their eye, than overload their conscious with the misery of others.
Like being barely able to eat daily, and going to that person who is wining and dining in the fanciest restaurants, and complaining about food.

I know that no author wants to remember their failed masterpieces, but that is still a story that existed.

Oh yeah just for posterity, i read all the tops comments on webnovel, and i really love the guys or girls -their names don't really tell, and i don't check profiles- but i really love their comments, and how they are joking about Dokja being the father of Gilyeong and Yuseong, it's my favorite joke, also around these chapters, the readers seems to have went down to half the number, the top comments used to get 80k+ likes, now they get 40k
But that's completely natural in serializations this long, you can even see it on famous series on goodreads here, always the number going lower from 1 book to the next.
This review is for 120 to 136 Chapters.

Incredible as always, each volume gets me more hyped than the last. Delightful characters, filled with intrigue, and one of the most unique "character ends up in a fictional world" settings I've ever seen.

Interesting. Things are getting really interesting. The world building is insane. The 10 evils to the 7 rulers of seoul to now the 12 apostles, Dokja ironically being one of those because of reading ways of survival to completion. The fifth scenario being a literal trap and DRAGON AND DOKJA DYING BUT THEN GETTING RESURRECTED?!?! HIM BECOMING THE KING OF NO KILLING?!? AND HIM HAVING THE ABILITY TO BE IMMERSED IN FIRST PERSON OF ANYONE OF HIS CHOOSING?!?! SO COOL.
The first apostle literally being a plagiarist💀 and thats why he knows so much💀. Dokja being the smart menace he is writing a fake revelation book and selling it to lure the tyrant king and plagiarist to fight each other so he can take changsin station? GENIUS. This manhwa is actually peak

This is the last volume I can be sure I've read to completion (thanks orv wiki for not specifying how the manhwa is divvied up) and I am losing my mind. This series is premium crack please read it. Kim dokja the man you are.
Has been pretty good (!!!) regarding queer stuff so far but wiki has a big bad transmisogyny tag I'm anticipating.
The women in orv are so so good. Entered with low expectations, expectations shattered and rebuilt into gorgeous tower that is tall and strong. Mainstream battle manhwa you fucking did it.
Supremely bisexual.

I love this series. It is a good story with amazing art, and you can tell they wrote this with some long term ideas in mind.
Like who is Dokja’s mom? (I’m thinking it’s the hall lady that the plagiarist talked about because it seemed in his trauma jail thing he did during the 3rd scenario she killed his dad & he mentioned earlier that he wasn’t worried for his mom because he knew she would survive.)
What is the whole scenario with Dokja and his reader abilities? The cinema end boss guy seemed to pick up on something before he was finished & I wish he finished his sentence because now I need to know!

The translation notes continue to bring joy to my soul. I love how the readers have a constellation, some random comment became a constellation, & now a character from a Nano Machine is a constellation. All these little Easter eggs make this such a fun and enjoyable read.

Can’t wait to drop more money as the English copies get published!

I'm drooling......... It's a favourite of mine, how can I not? I like these developmental arcs and I'm so invested! Even though I know what happens.

First read May 24th, 2024

I'm actually amazed. I'm not drooling over this anymore (well, maybe sometimes) since I calmed down a little, but it's still soooooo good!
I even have DokJa as my phone wallpaper............. I'm not ashamed.

Chapters 110-130.

Review Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint

Summary:

Kim Dokja has spent the last several years reading a webnovel. That doesn’t make him terribly unique, does it? What’s more interesting is that he’s the only reader of this webnovel - and it’s about to end.

As a reward for being the only reader of this series, he gets an alert, an edge, and a downloaded copy of the series. That in itself shouldn’t have been life-changing if not for what is about to happen to the world…

Review:

So, I have a confession to make: I’m so hooked on Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint that I read several volumes worth of it over the course of one week. Side note: I’ve swapped to reading Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint through Webtoons, so I’m doing my best to keep the chapters in line with the volumes.

Every single volume, I’m impressed at how Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint finds new and different ways to up the ante. Last volume, it was forcing us to realize that our protagonist is not the center of the universe, and the fate of the world rests on somebody else's shoulders. This time? It’s that Dokja is not the only reader.

Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint Vol. 6 hits hard, giving Dokja room to grow, all while throwing new threats in his path. It’s fascinating to see how complex the world has already gotten, and we’re only six volumes in!

Love the character development for all of the secondary characters. Here’s hoping we keep seeing more of that; it helps to balance out the rest of the world. Plus, more characters for us to love and root for.

In vol 6. Kim Dokja and his group encounter the prophets, people who have read parts of TWSA and therefore know some of what is about to happen. Dokja secures a mask that can change the wearer’s appearances, and pretends to be Yu Junghyeok to attend the gathering of the prophets. The most important of them turns out to be The Author. He claims to have written the TWSA, but Dokja knows that isn’t true. So who is he?

He learns that they’ve been hatching a meteorite by feeding it mana so that they can release a weapon inside it. But they’ve been duped, and it’s a major catastrophe waiting to happen. And it happens earlier than it should.

A lesser dragon hatches and it’s up to Dokja to save everyone. Amidst the chaos, he obtains the tenth station and completes the hidden scenario, The King’s Path. As a reward, he gains the attribute King of No Killing. Since he hasn’t killed anyone, it gives him the power to resurrect after dying.

He ends up needing the skill before the dragon is defeated. But instead of being rewarded for it, the scenario is made even more difficult. If they don’t plant their flag at a specific place within a time limit, everyone in Dokja’s group will die. Will they manage it in time?

I’m so in love with this series—the artwork, the story, just everything about it is simply *chef’s kiss*. Volume 6 Dokja is surprised to find himself not having the upper hand anymore. Being one of the only people who read TWSA from start to finish, he has to come face with not being the know-it-all. Here we find a dangerous enemy for Dokja to figure out how to fight! How will it go?
The amount of happy I am that I was introduced to this series is beyond me. It has the right amount of action, surprise elements, and I want to continue reading the minute I’m done. (Did I mention there sometimes are dragons?? Yeah!!)
Happy reading!♥️

okay, so I'm reading this one as a webtoon, I have no idea how many chapters the physical copies have but according to the internet I should be somewhere around this volume.
I am so obsessed with this, it's been sitting on my reading list for ages and damn I was missing out. The world building, the art and the characters are great.
I adore Kim Dokja with my life, he is so cool and so funny.
There's a lot more I want to say but I can't properly write it right now so I'll come back to this later

What the weapon was and how it was a trap, was interesting and so intense. Dokja really thought of everything and the way he defeated the dragon was brilliant. The group keeps getting more and more intense, it really showcases the players and their power. The oracle's and the tyrant king are really immense figures and it will be interesting to see what Dokja will do about them. It just keeps getting more complex and enjoyable. The art really makes the characters pop and the way it can get the emotions on their faces is brilliant. This was so worth the read and so enjoyable of a read.

The page numbers are consistent and don't skip, but this volume has several instances where I was looking for missing pages. Perhaps those scenes will be completed or explained in the next volume, but it was a bit jarring.

This is still confusing as hell at points. It's as if the story is slowly starting to make sense, but just out of reach. I'm even more intrigued though, love some of the characters (I think I may have found one of my favourite female side characters) and the art is top.

And did I mention before that I totally get the shippers? Dokja and Junghyeok scenes are 😍
