The off-world planet of Infinim, which promises a heavenly and eternal existence for its society of robots, is now taking applications. Although one of its applicants is older and not quite as quick as he used to be, does he have what it takes to be accepted? Figure out who he is before the story's end in this clever children's book.
Intended for ages 3 and up. Over 50 pages in all. Descriptions of my other popular children's books are included after the main feature (an additional 5 pages).
I found this book confusing to read and the math questions were way over my head. There's no way that a child could understand them. I wouldn't even know how to read those numbers if I were reading this book to a child. Also, the entire concept that the book presents is a scary one. It seems to be where science is trying to go, but that doesn't mean it should.
As usual, Scott has a wonderful, creative story for younger children. I love the artwork and easy readability. I can't wait to read this on with/to my nephew! Very quick read with great illustrations that will engage many boys and girls!
An interesting story for bedtime. After all tests to determine if you can be a robot you discover a surprise. A replica of the earth in a faraway place is a proposal that could work.
