Link Stanton has been in love with Andy Lawson since they were in high school, and telling Andy he loved him was one of the biggest risks he’d ever taken. Now they’re happier than ever, engaged and living together in the small town of Occident.
Andy’s hesitant to give up the job in the city he worked so hard for, but the more time he spends with Link in their hometown the harder it is to go back to Sacramento to work. The town he couldn’t wait to leave has now become a refuge from the big city life he thought he wanted.
Link is happy, but there’s one more thing he wants to do, and he’ll need help from all their friends and family to pull it off. He asks Andy to marry him one more time but this time he’s got a date, and it’s only a couple of days away. It’s a lot to ask, but if they all pitch in, it’ll be as special as Link and Andy deserve. A friends to lovers small town romance..
Falling in love isn't an issue for Link and Andy, it's moving forward. Both men live busy lives, Andy still commutes into the city for work and isn't sure he's ready to give that up for life in the small town where he and Link grew up. Link has plans to take their relationship to the next level, but it's going to take their whole community to pull it off.

I really enjoyed this story. This was such a sweet story, full of all of the feels. You can read it as a stand-alone but it’s better as part of the series. These two were so sweet together and I was really happy that they finally got their wedding.
We are back in Occident with Link and Andy after being together for a few years and engaged for a while Link surprises Andy by arranging their wedding with the help of all their family and friends. I really enjoyed this series and it was great to see Link and Andy getting married and catching up with all the other characters and couples from the series. This could be read as a standalone but I definitely would recommend reading the whole series so you know who everyone is but also because it’s a really good series.
This book is related to the Small Town series. It needs to be read in order of the series. The is the moment that readers have been waiting for. Link Stanton and Andy Lawson are finally getting married. While both are from and living the small town of Occident; Andy commutes to the big city for his job. Link decides that he has waited long enough. He wants to be Andy's husband. So he plans to propose when Andy comes back home. But instead of just proposing, he plans a surprise wedding just a few days later. Now something this big can't be done quickly or alone. Luckily, Linc has a whole town and lifelong friends to help him out. This is their story. While preparing for the wedding, we get to catch up on all the other couples from Occident. If you enjoyed the original series, you will enjoy this book. The book itself is written well and is easy to read. I enjoyed the visit to Occident once again.

This story is special for the readers as well as for Link Stanton and Andy Lawson who are finally getting married (if all goes well) after loving each other for so long. Andy has been trying to decide whether he should give up his Sacramento job in the city and live permanently in Occident. He worked hard for the job he has; but it is increasingly more difficult to leave Link. So the big question now will be asking Andy to marry him with no more delays. If Andy will finally say yes, Link has gathered their friends to help him plan the perfect wedding where they can finally share their happiness with their best friends. Preparation time is short, only a couple of days until Thanksgiving, but it seems the couple is finally ready to say their vows. Seeing many of the couples we have already met before is a wonderful treat and makes the reader definitely feel like an invited guest as well!
Having the opportunity to listen to a book I loved when I read it is always a real pleasure. That this one is only a couple of hours long was a bonus for me, it meant I could sit with my crafts on a rainy afternoon and enjoy the whole story all over again and enjoy it I did.
I can easily lose myself in a love story. Link and Andy's love story is a beautiful one and when narrated by someone, directly to me, it becomes even more special for it feels as though I have my own special place in their story, that it is being shared only with me and of course their friends.
BL Maxwell's story is adorable, her couple and their friends are even more so and the narration complements all of this perfectly. A wonderful addition to the Small Town City Series and now it is on audio I can listen to them all one after another and lose myself in the love these men have for one another without any distractions!
With Remember Always, author BL Maxwell sidesteps all the tragedy and hatred that permeate too many books and movies about LGBTQ characters. Here, two gay men in love navigate how to best plan their lives together, with the support of a loving community. Thanksgiving might provide a special opportunity for bringing those plans in an even happier direction.
Maxwell keeps the narrative moving quickly, with both men trying to balance their career goals with their undeniable connection. While the book perhaps needed more editing for punctuation, the writing is polished and enjoyable in every other way. I highly recommend Remember Always for fans of MM romance.
The small-town setting makes it even more appealing, adding to the sense of supportive community and giving queer lit fans a break from big-city landscapes. Everything about this story feels fresh and welcoming.
Remember Always by BL Maxwell is a heartwarming, small-town romance that beautifully captures the journey of two men deeply in love. Link and Andy’s story is full of warmth, family support, and the bittersweet pull between city dreams and the comforts of home. Watching Link and Andy work through real-life decisions about their future together makes their bond feel authentic and inspiring. This novella is a lovely conclusion to their romance, with friends, family, and a surprise proposal that will make your heart melt. A perfect, feel-good read for anyone who loves friends-to-lovers and happily-ever-afters.

I love BL Maxwell, and I was super happy when this ARC opportunity came my way. I usually don’t listen to audiobooks because I read faster than what I can speed the book to while still understanding, but this narrator made me think twice about audiobooks. All the voices are so unique and distinctive, it’s amazing. And now I leave my voluntary review for mainly the audiobook, because the narrator is incredibly talented, but the story is so cute! Short and sweet, perfect for a quick listen, and worth trying a new format. If I can find more books narrated by him, I might have to listen to all of them. As far as BL Maxwell, I’ll continue reading all the books they publish, because the stories they weave are amazing, so it was a great listen: great narration of a really cute story.
Sweetheart couple Link and Andy from previous books (Remember When and A Night to Remember) return in a celebratory novella. The couple and their friends always gather the night before Thanksgiving, before family obligations claim their time for the holiday. This year Link has a big surprise for Andy, which he’s managed to conceal with the help of friends and family in their small town of Occident.
It's a sweet small town story, no angst. While I found it predictable, I'm sure fans of the previous books will love it.

This was like being invited to a wedding without having to dress up! I have not read the rest of the Small Town city series but I absolutely loved this beautiful moment that was captured. I think it will be more enjoyable if you read the series from the beginning. I could feel the love between the family, friends and the community. I will be going back and checking out the rest of the series!
Jack Watson did a beautiful job capturing the excitement, nerves and love. His voice was easy on my ears and I would be happy to listen to other narrations from him.
Link and Andy have been together for a while now and Link is ready to make it official. He proposes with their friends surrounding them and of course Andy accepts. What Andy doesn't know is that Liam is has the perfect wedding planed for. All their friends have pitched in and it was wonderful to see all of the couples from throughout the series so happy. I loved the small town and found family aspect.
A love so strong, you can feel it! Andy and Link are still going strong. Andy, is still in Sacramento two days a week, his business doing better than ever. Link, surprises Andy with another proposal, but with a date now. Link plans the details with all there friends and ther are decisions and surprises on the way. Sweet story, great flow, good cover art! This story just oozes with happiness. Nice quick read. Well done! I am voluntarily leaving a review.
This audiobook was a nice, short listen that followed two guys in the lead-up to their wedding. It was different, not a long, complicated plot, just a simple story that was easy to follow and enjoy.
The audio did seem a bit off in chapter 13 through it kept getting louder then quieter but not sure if that was the audio or my device being faulty.

This was a nice, easy feel good storyline with great characters. A great relationship development as Link and Andy learn that change and adapting is necessary if they want to build their feelings into a long term relationship. Luckily they have plenty of support!.

I love how these two finally got to be together forever. They figured out that they were both ready to be together and a Marriage was what came next. It was a great ceremony and everyone came together. I definitely recommend this book to everyone who loves mm romance stories that go the distance.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a cute, sweet read. I loved both Link and Andy. I liked the supporting characters. It was sweet seeing them get married surrounded by loved ones.
Jack Watson did a good job narrating this book, though I couldn't differentiate between the characters' voices much.
This is the sweet and heartfelt culmination of Link and Andy's relationship. Wedding bells are finally going to ring for the pair. I loved the way their friends came together to help Link make it all happen so perfectly. There is no drama, just a beautiful ending for these two.

Link and Andy are getting married. As a surprise Link with the help of their friends planned a wedding for Andy after Thanksgiving. This is such a sweet story, all the couples who got together in Occident are there along with family.
Link has loved Andy since high school and finally got the courage to tell him. Now he wants to take the next step to marry him and all their friends are there to make it a special day. I really enjoyed this short story.
This was a fast Audiobook and will definitely have you hooked from the beginning until the end. I wasn't into the narrators voice but the book was so good and got to love a wedding with Lincoln and Andy.

Remember Always by BL Maxwell is a sweet (with some spice) tale of how Link (country boy) surprises Andy (city boy) with a wedding planned with a little help from his friends. This book is best read after reading the Small Town City series. Part of what I enjoyed about this story is how it brings in all the characters we’ve met in the series and lets us know how they are all doing (really well). While I’m not partial to small towns, Remember Always almost could change my mind since it is just so peaceful and bucolic and safe. While most of the duos in Occidental are country/city pairings, the author never demonizes the city (usually Sacramento). Another aspect of the book that I liked was how the circle of friends from high school still hang out together and the group is livened by the additions from the city. I thought it was realistic that Link and Andy don’t both have perfect relationships with their parents and how Link’s parents are the go-to when any of the group needs mature advice. Remember Always is almost like an epilogue to the series. This is the book you need if you want a feel-good story. Beautiful. On so many levels. From the surprise to the big event and everything in between. Link and Andy are the most gorgeous couple. You don't need to know their story to read this one, there are hints as to what has happened between them whilst they look forward to a very big day.
Short, steamy and oh so much fun, if you have ever been married this book will strike a cord - you will know all about the stresses and the planning leading up to the big day, the stress in this story though is the 'will he say yes' even though he maybe, possibly, already has! I promise it is not nearly as confusing as it sounds. If you need a feel good steamy read featuring two incredible men, their incredible friends and family and the sweetest of happy ever afters, plus possibly a dog, then 'Remember Always' is the book you need.
Congratulations Link and Andy and here's to hoping we might be treated to Morgan and Stu's story in the near future!
This story is the super-sweet happy ending Link and Andy deserved. After being together, and now engaged, for a while, Link pulls off an almost surprise wedding to show his best friend, and the love of his life, how much he means to him. Sweet, steamy and funny all wrapped up in a pretty wedding package!
