I have to agree and she did deliver! Definitely hot, EXPLOSIVE!
Yes, there is a story to this, a very good one at that! Leighton is steaming hot, hell, all the guys are! Abbi, that girl has had an aweful life, that my friends is an understatement, and she is so strong! I have to admit, I feel there were/are some cheez~moments but all the rest makes up for it.
I had already started book #2 when I wrote this, as I said, there's definitely a story as well but there is an abundance of this as well and I'm enjoying every minute but the author clearly states above what you're going into and it continues I'm sure through the entire series as the warning is given for each one. Don't say you weren't aware and 1 star because of that.

I was given a advanced readers copie of Love Lockdown for a honest review, OMG this book had me in tears from the first page, this book has is all heartbreak from first page , hell of a lot of steamy sex scenes that will get you hot under the collar, and even hotter men,. I couldn't put it down. Ariana Temperance Smith, this book is Amazing congratulations on a fantastic book.

the beginning of the story was pretty hard hitting but I liked that because I empathised with the character and really rooted for her but unfortunately went rapidly downhill from there
the book has had so many great reviews so tried to stick with it but I gave up around 40%

Just finished reading this book and I'm a wreck!
The story is emotional and powerful.
The beginning is tough to read but necessary to the story, the relationship between Abbi and Leighton progresses sweetly but all the time you're waiting for it to go horribly wrong!
The ending just killed me and left me hanging for the next instalment.
Can't wait to read more from this amazing new author.

This is a must read! this book is amazing, I love Abbi and Leighton, this book takes you into the lives of Abbi and Leighton, you get to see and feel how Abbi is feeling and her love for the man who saved her life. This is a very sexy and hot book. I Highly recommend this book to everyone.

I first read this book a while ago, and have since read it about 4 maybe 5 times. I love this author and her books.
This book was the first I read by Shannon Dobson, and it was one of the best days of my life because I found her.
I don't know where to start with this story, I loved pretty much everything in it, there is something for everyone, there were times when I wanted to cry, and I did, there were parts that made me laugh, there's enough violence for it to be hot, and don't even get me started on the sex scenes 😍😍
This is one of the best trilogies I have read.
I wish I could give more stars than 5.

Abigail Adams has had a shit life and I mean SHIT. After losing the one most important person to her she ends up on the streets. 3 years down the line life ain't any better so much so she's being attacked by some drunk in an alley until a velvet smooth voice steps in and saves her......
Leighton lock..OMG...that man is a panty melting fine piece if ass and the truest of gentleman to make him perfect, he takes Abigail and soothes nourishes and helps her grow again. but then there's his job and with he line of work he does it can't all be plain sailing for this picture perfect couple.
Can Leighton save, love and cherish this broken girl???
Can Abigail protect what she has come to believe has her own???

The amount of crap Abigail has been through, you make her strong and prove to the world she isn't a victim but a survivor, she doesn't have to be this quite mousy girl, But a string feisty woman. Leighton is honest, caring and so Damn fine. The perfect up n coming book boyfriend. They pair with each other amazingly. The outer characters are strong and i hope to hear more from these.
Now the twist at the end.....I can't wait to see what Leighton does!!!
Your writing is strong and flows, your sex scenes are blush worthy, your characters are believable. You wrote a fantastic story.

Love Lockdown is an intense, heartbreaking story from a girl who's homeless, who's life has been a living hell. We find out her past, along with the present. Her inner feelings and hopes and dreams.
Abigail is a strong minded, independent young woman with no home, no family and who has been traumatised beyond repair. Until she's rescued and taken in by Leighton Lock. A hit alpha male, wreaking of money. He's kind, he's gentle and he gives her everything she wishes.
I don't want to go into the story too much in fear of giving too much away but this story was freakin' intense. At the end I was so flabbergasted and confused, I slapped my kindle in anger.
I found this book to have too much sex....on almost every other page. Some scenes I had to skip passed so I can read more of Abigail and Leighton's story. I found one particular sex scene excruciatingly HOT and my God I wish I was in the room with them! This author is brazen enough to include it and it was amazing and sexy as hell to read. Though, I did find it was rushed in to and came out of no where.
This book takes you on a journey of despair but at the same time full of love and excitement, yet terrifying at the same time. I've cried sad tears and happy tears all at once.
I can't wait to get ahold of the next one so I can find out what happens next....I do hate cliffhangers haha.
Aimed at audiences of 18+ with sexual content and graphic violence NOT suitable for younger readers.

Bloody hell this book has everything going for it hot as hell and big massive emotional roller-coaster all at the same time her writing style is fantastic which helps make this book work Love Lock down had me crying from the first few pages for the main character Abigail and for the shit life she had been dealt.And it takes lot for me to cry so that's how quickly i connected with the character and the story , oh not forgetting Legighton , oh my my my i can say now i fell hard for Leighton as he is a bad boy alpha, which if like me you like that type you will fall for him as hes just what everyone needs. I read this book on my hols within the first couple evenings of being there when i was tucked up in bed late at night, it is a real page turner. Warning there is one hell of cliffhanger of an ending, which has left me very eager for more , im sure it leaves everybody feeling the same.

Now let's get the book, it's heartbreaking, soul destroying, but you also get a whole heap of sweet and romantic, and panty melting hot as hell sex ( I mean seriously f**cking hot no shit this lady can write sex like you wouldn't believe).
Leighton is a man with a dark edge, he's dominant to his core, and loves so fierce it'll make you wish you were in Abigail's shoes even if just for a few minutes.
Abigail will pull at your heart strings and before you know it you'll be in tears, but don't be fooled Abi is tough and resilient and there's nothing she wouldn't do for the people she loves.
This book had me gripped till the very end, it pained me to have to put it down to sleep, I'm just crying out for more now cause sadly every book has to end.

Love It
Wow I don't know what to say about this book. I just finished reading it and wow just wow, love the characters can't believe that's how it end it I'm going to keep this short.

After she was thirteen her life kept on changing, when she thought that everything was starting too look up for her and that she is happy again her life is turned upside down. Now it has passed three years that she's been living on the street that until one night she meets Leighton and her life starts too look up again will it stay like that or will her life been turn upside down again.

OH MY GOD! I was completely hooked on this book, I totally loved Leighton and Abbi.
Their story took on many twists, as well as sexy scenes that get you a bit hot under the collar!
There is heartache and love galore in this book, so much that you won't be able to put it down. Ariana has created a book to get your teeth (and heart) into that you will be dying to know what happens at the end ... Will it or won't it be a happy ever after??

Oh the cliffhanger...
I definitely need to see where this is going. The story is so sad and pathetic in the beginning but Abby's life makes a complete 180. Her decision making skills need some serious work (which leads to the cliffhanger) and that could be annoying at times but the sex was hot and I'm anxious to find out what secrets Leighton is hiding because I know there are many.

One of the hottest books out! Love LockDown is filled with so many emotions. Poor Abbi, she has been put through hell and then Leighton Lock finds her and rescues her. This book is so steamy and filled with so many turns and twists. The author knows how to grab your attention and keep it through this HOT read. Her words are incredible. Such talent. A highly recommended series!!

This book deserves 5*s the first few pages will have you in tears but as you read in there is a lot to take in some of it is sexual, violent and descriptive.
I loved the characters and the way each was described and some times in the book was uncomfortable to read about.

I was lucky enough to be a beta reader for Love Lockdown and I must say that I absolutely loved Abbi's and Leighton's story. Ariana Temperance Smith has done an amazing job. I was hooked from the very beginning. I couldn't put it down once I had started it.

This was an interesting story. I say interesting because I wasn’t really sure how I felt about it. I was hooked from page one, there were some things I could have done without, there were some things I didn’t fully understand, there were things that I loved and things I didn’t like. Overall though, 3 stars mean I liked it and I did.
We meet Abigail, living on the streets. She is 21 and has had a pretty terrible life. She comes from an abusive home, which was spelled out in pretty clear detail. Then she was taken into foster care where something great starts to happen only to have that world shatter all around her. Now living as a shell of the human she used to be she is up against terrible odds on the streets. Until one fateful night she is saved by the rich and handsome Leighton.
Leighton is the young, sexy, and wealthy savior. I don’t quite understand what kind of business he is in and I while I really liked him I had a hard time with him. I kept thinking there had to be more, that we were missing something, that something just didn’t fit, but none of those things were revealed in this book. I had a hard time believing in this rag to riches story and that was one of the things I didn’t really like about it. I also didn't care for some of the sex scenes. Don’t get me wrong, I love sex in a book, I like a lot of sex in a book, but there were a few times that it just didn’t work for me and the situation at the time. There were other times though, that it fit perfect and it was mighty explicit.
I was intrigued by some of the things that Abigail did and I really want to know how a certain situation is going to play out. I want to know what Leighton is going to do and I hope to find out more about him. I definitely liked it enough to continue because you are really left hanging and am fully interested in what is to come.

Ok... This has to be the longest I ever took to finish reading a book. A stay home mom and with 9 month old, it was a bit difficult. This book was out of hand I would say. But then again the past year I only was reading baby books. I have read different books I don't have a particular genre. This has to be one graphic, out in the open, and a bit too rough.
It's about a girl name Abbi, she had a such a rough childhood that no child's should ever experience. Her only family she had left, took advantage of her in such a horrible way. Your father the man that once loved you and was to protect you, was the one killing you. This story was a bit graphic like I had mention, the raping, the abusive context, had me feeling like I shouldn't be reading this. But I kept going with the hope that it would get better for Abbi.

Leighton is a true knight in shining armor. Abigail is in need of a hero and Leighton is the man.

Although, there were a few issues and dangerous moments for the couple, they all made for a great story. My only issue is with the dumbass decision that Abigail makes in Chapter 35. You can’t be that stupid woman and think that by doing what you did will resolve matters and make for a safe environment for all involved. Stupid Dumb Cu^t!! When Leighton finds out it is going to be a hailstorm.
With that being said, I did enjoy Book #1 in the Lockdown Series. Now I’m off to begin Book #2 (Total LockDown) and see what challenges are in store for Abigail and Leighton.

Abbi and Leighton, what an amazing team these 2 make. When you first start off on this book, you feel the heart break and desperation with poor Abbi. She is a young women who is broken and alone and has almost given up on life, that is until she meets a mysterious man who changes her whole world and everything she has ever known or felt. While reading this I was brought to laughter and tears, this is a modern day love story or heartbreak and true devotion. These characters are flawed and they learn to embrace themselves and each other and try to over come all their demons.. Will they conquer and survive this life and one another.. I guess we will have to wait and see with book 2.

Ok book but cliffhanger
I don't really know how I feel about this book! You have a girl that is abused by her father, after the father rapes her friend she finally calls the police and is then put in foster care with a wonderful family! She then falls in love with another foster boy that ends up getting killed. So she leaves her foster home and spends 3 years living on the street! So a man saves her from another man that is raping her. He takes her home, within a day they are having sex. This is not realistic to me! After all she's been through! Then it ends with a cliffhanger!
