Calm in Chaos is an informative guide that provides up with tips to live a better life.

The first thing which positively impacted me was how the author was generous in allowing us readers to start with whichever topics interested us most so I took my sweet time to read this. I was drawn to the social media, Cell phone & related chapters as I'm one of the people who is chronically online.

Chetan does a great job in using simple language to make us understand about complex topics. Every topic whether it be about finance or exercise seemed well researched which I appreciate as a Bio student. The emphasis on mental health was also great, because in the fast paced living of modern world we have stopped appreciating the small wins.

I skimmed through the other chapters to gain an overall understanding of what the author conveyed. There were some points which were new to me, though most others I've already known. I liked the personal touches Chetan gave in this book, those made this interactive to read. I also liked reading the quotes that accompanied each chapter! That ending poem was sweet.

This book is for those who are looking for ways to find some calm among the chaos of their daily lives ❤️.

If you live in a city, you live in a hyper bubble of chaos. But with the advent of 5G mobiles and TV, even the small towns and villages have come into the trap of chaotic tech that is hungry for everything. How to manage your life in this hustle bustle of 24/7 chaos and buzz? Itape breaks down this life lessons into various chapters and packs it into a neat bundle in his life-guide 'Calm in Chaos'.

Itape has divided his book into sections that give life lessons around topics like cell phones and excessive use of screen, social media and it's intrusion minimalism, excessive consumption of processed food (the dead diet), financial literacy, the curse of sedentary lifestyle and much more.
Itape, in the beginning of the book, establishes a direct conversation with his reader and asks then to read the book they find suitable. It's not a linear journey, he says, so pick it up from whichever chapter you feel like.

Every chapter kickstarts with a quote by another author/personality that helps you relate with the content. So many of them are striking but my favorite is this- "We first make our habits,and then our habits make us." -John Dryden.

Calm in chaos has some very helpful tips if you are looking to control that monkey brain and bring some meditative peace into your life.

📍 Calm In The Chaos by Chetan Itape is a book that can make you understand how to achieve calm in the middle of chaos just like the title suggests.

📍 While I was picking up this book as I wanted to read something which will gave a push towards positivity for the day, I chose this book from its tittle and blurb, even though I expected it be one of those typical motivational read this book surprise me with its simplified element.

📍 As we are working towards a faster future, our daily life has become nothing but a simple chaos and it's true and to escape those chaos this book will bring you the necessary calmness.

📍 Instead of starting from chapter 1, I choose random chapters for the excitement element and I have to say it did surprise me.

📍 The book revolves around the practical, straightforward and relatable strategies that will help us to navigate through daily life with calmness.

📍 And as I was reading, i started to figure out how each chapter makes sense and how it actually affects us as humans.

📍 There are three chapters which I will definitely use in my personal life -

I have been reading this book lately. Who doesnot need this peace during this time of the world? I think everyone needs it! Because right now it is a chaotic world inside out!

This book is for anyone struggling to find peace in their busy, stressful life. If you often feel overwhelmed by challenges, this book can help you learn some tips to how stay calm and balanced.

The book covers many important topics. It talks about the harmful effects of social media and phone addiction. It also discusses how to stop the negative mindset when we sometimes intentionally think we are born with bad fate. Thus I think finally, it offers some fine advices on healthier living, including tips on minimalism, better financial habits, and meditation. Good topics to think about.

This book is important because it teaches us practical strategies to deal with everyday stress. It helps us turn chaos into opportunities for personal growth too. That is too focus on things that matter.

The first positive attribute is that the author has mentioned right in the beginning that the reader can start reading from any chapter that interests them. I started with the "Cell" Phones chapter, and hence wrote the quote above.

Just like the title of the book, the author talks about the 'chaos' that we all go through everyday, and ways through which we can stay 'calm' amidst them. With his simple, informal, yet meaningful explanation, the author has covered all the topics in an organized way. Some of my favorites are 'Exercise | Hustle for Muscle', 'Who's your coffee mate?', 'Gratitude'.

I definitely found the aspect of truth in many topics, and this is a "must-read" for fans of non-fiction. Do read this and let me know your favorite topic in the comments.

Calm in Chaos 


It is a document on how to grow passionately in life. It helps us understand the importance of building habits that we continue to impart in life unless we wanna feel the discomfort due to fear. A few such habits are exercise, diet, selfcare, reading , and restricting screen time. Rather it should be investing time on understanding oneself and cutting down on things that cause free dopamine rush. 


The important strategy to tackle the hard things easy way is to have a sense of control of the environment. This in fact takes time in building such a resilient environment which gives peace and productivity.


The routine building is the key to keeping calm in Chaos which could only be achieved through an immense amount of self confidence and deliberating the soul.  Through Journaling, tracking and resting progress is one such vicious cycle that must be followed to conquer the evil in you
