I think the book lost me after chapter one. I like to give books a chance but I just couldn’t get very interested in it. It breaks my heart as I know how hard it is for an author to write a book that means everything to them but perhaps it is just not the right time for me to read this. I will revisit.

A nice easy read with some action, some adventure and a bit of romance. The main emphasis is a woman taking command of her life as her family matures and finding fulfillment in her own accomplishments.

I loved this book from the first chapter! It’s fast-paced, wonderfully written and well developed.

It has everything I love in a book. Suspense, romance, witty banter and characters that are real and relatable.
