Richard Matheson fue un titán del género terror/sci-fi. Sólo con su novela 'Soy leyenda' inventó un género nuevo que ha sido repetido hasta el cansancio. El autor de esta biografía tuvo acceso privilegiado al autor y sus amistades más cercanas, por lo que entrega muchos detalles interesantes. Pero el libro tiene además muchas carencias: no hay ningún material gráfico, se inclina demasiado por la conexión de Matheson con el cine y la TV en desmedro de su obra como escritor de novelas y cuentos. At last but not least, está pésimamente escrito! Nunca había visto un libro (con la excepción de 'Dada, underground en dictadura') que necesitase tanto de un editor y un corrector de estilo. En definitiva, un trabajo más bien amateur que desperdició (Matheson falleció en 2013) sus fuentes originales e irrepetibles.
