are discreet. Find your fantasy in the Club.

Mix one lanky shortstop with two brawny Doms and what do you get? A white hot good time.

On the baseball field, shortstop Rocke Houseman commands the crowd. They cheer as he makes plays and hits home runs. He loves his job in professional sports, but there’s something missing. He wants to be true to himself. When he tears up his knees during a critical play, his whole life is thrown into chaos. He turns to the one place he knows to find balance—Club Desire.

Carson and Jeremiah are a packaged deal. You deal with one, you deal with both. When the gutsy sub comes into Desire and wants a Dom, they step in to help him out. Rocke fits their bill—he’s athletic and lanky, but knows how to take direction. Can they help him work out his issues one ménage at a time? Or will the passion exploding amongst them be the final out?

Bases Loaded by author Megan Slayer has the tale of two doms Carson and Jeremiah. They have been lovers for a long time. But they are looking for a sub, enter Rocke Houseman a tough bases ball short stop with a messed up knee keeping him out of action. He is very unsure of his future both on and off the field when we first meet him. When he goes to Club Desire in the hopes of getting some answers about himself he gets more than he bargained for two doms, Carson and Jeremiah who both want him. The trouble is Rocke isn’t sure they want him forever. He won’t give his heart till he is sure they are both in it for the long haul.
I enjoyed watching the love and trust unfold in this story. Rocke is far stronger than he thinks and by the end we really see how far he has come. This book is part of a series and should be read in order to fully get the relationships everyone in the club has. I particularly like that, gives me a full scope of the characters and what makes them tick.
Ms. Slayer gives the right amount of bdsm to make this book a little edgy but loving all at the same time. I hope she does more like this in the future. I love the combination.
When you want a story with three hot men finding both themselves and a love of a life time this is the book to pick up.

This one had to be my favorite in the Club Desire series, thanks to the uncertainty of Rocke's character. Despite being a well known ball player, Rocke's on a downward slide in his life when he finds just what he needs in Club Desire. The vulnerability with which Slayer portrayed his character made my heart ache. I just wanted to reach through my Nook and give the poor kid a hug.

The only thing that turned me off about this book, and it's a minor thing, was the DL being called the DL list by Rocke, a professional baseball player. DL stands for Disabled List so calling it the DL list is repetitive and not something a seasoned pro ball player would do. Yes, I know this sounds petty, but it's something savvy readers will pick up on. In the end, it didn't make me put the book down, but I did cringe every time I saw it.

Another very sexy and fast paced book in the series. The characters were mentioned in the previous book but you do not have to read it; however, it is just as entertaining.

Interesting story lines, hot sex scenes (although not nearly as much bdsm as you would expect from a series based on a Club called Desire) and intriguing MC's. More could definitely have been done but they are short stories.

This book annoyed me. A lot. It did not live up to the blurb and excerpt. Every single conflict that was raised was resolved too quickly, too easily. The sex scenes aren't hot at all. Too much saying, not enough doing. So much potential, wasted.
