THE SPACE BETWEEN:
When Drake started the night at his father’s campaign fundraiser, he never imagined he’d end it being conned into buying drugs on the West Side. Losing high-stakes poker has its consequences, but he’d repeatedly face them just to hear Lacey Douglas sing. Drake sees Lacey light up the stage, and he has to have her. But his intentions for being on her side of town turn out to be the reason he can’t.
Chicago native Lacey has dreams of the opera, but life has its obstacles. Lacey has come to know her hardships as part of living in the real world and accepts them fully. When Lacey meets the intense and invigorating Drake, a fire is lit inside her, unleashing those dreams again.
Two paths that should have never crossed prove to create the exact pairing the other needs. But when their worlds take time to catch up, everything they have is tested. Finding the space between the two sides that challenge them will be hard, but it’s the only place that will keep them together.
THE DIVIDING LINE:
Set to the backdrops of Paris and Chicago, Drake and Lacey’s story continues in The Dividing Line. When more than distance proves to be between them, Drake and Lacey must discover who they are in order to establish what they are together.
HEART & SEOUL:
They’ve been through heartache, loss, and tragedy. But what lies in Seoul, South Korea is a whole new journey. Heart & Seoul is a novella to the new adult multicultural romance, The Dividing Line.

What a surprise treat for me with taking a chance on reading a new author (to me) and to choose a series at that. I read this three book series within a 24 hour time period. I did very little housework and I took few phone calls (sent most to voicemail - this is one occasion where I didn't mind the phone numbers popping upon my LED screen).
I really enjoyed the coming of age love story between Drake and Lacey. They deal with major life changing experiences throughout and I don't want to give the storyline away. Lots of issues going on - racial, since of self and self-worth, drugs and abandonment to name a few.
I think this is the first time I have read something where the hero and heroine did not fall into bed with other bed. Not to say there were not opportunities to do so, it was sort of refreshing to see a young love that stayed true to their significant other through their trials and tribulations.
A refreshing read. I think I will read Found by You by this author.
It was so beautiful and real.In this day and age people still can't get over interracial relationships. It was so smooth they were a hot couple.I stayed up reading to the end,too excited to wait.thank you.I loved the ending.
There's nothing to dislike about this story. From Drake's struggle with his identity and Lacey with her future, a love story with few challenges but will keep you wondering their next step.
Still smiling, read this you will not be disappointed
This was indeed a journey. So well done, often stories that involve interracial couples push the racist aspects these couples face to the limit of the worst and yet sometimes it's not the over the top stuff that truly hurts, it's the small moments of being degraded that happen more often and make you feel you are being pecked to death by ducks. I was once again hesitant to read this story because the couple was so young, and I tend to find multiple book stories get weaker with each book. Not so with this book. I highly recommend it.
Nice sweet young love coming off age. Great characters, great development of both and supporting characters. Lots of detail in the growth of the two however at the end of book number two, the end seemed to rushed with little detail of the family and the reconciliation of the two. Over all,,, good read.
This was probably my third time reading this series. It’s just so sweet, I love it. Drake & Lacey are just made for each other. I am not one to write spoilers. Don’t waste time reading reviews, get into this story!!!!!
I was happy to be able to purchase the book bundle. It allowed me to continually read the story of such a diverse couple. Though young, you never denied the passion and love Lacey and Drake had for one another. In the Dividing Line, redemption was the underlying tone. You saw many changes from overcoming loss to having to forgive. Lacey too center stage where Drake was right beside having to see her through. Thus the transition for the two. Family being important and a primary factor in who one becomes you saw Drake having to deal with identity. As we know everyone is more than just their outward appearance. So much depth you come to root for Lacey and Drake because so much was thrown at them.
I loved the characters. I love the story line. I liked how families and friends got together and bonded. Even from different races and cultures, a bond can be made and become family. Without being blood.
