This is book twenty-nine of the Shrouded Nation series and the Sacred Sisterhood of Eve, Nishi, Faith and Tegan, are still struggling to catch the evil warlock, Perius, who has disappeared for some two weeks with no trace at all. Salima, the new Council healer, who is also a necromancer, has already been helping them out in this case and has played a key role. With no clues as to where Perius is holed up, Eve suggests they ask wolf shifter, Aurora, who is now the liaison to Atlantis and also a P.I., to help them as she may well have different ways of searching for the warlock. She comes round and asks them all to give her everything they know about the warlock, especially Eve, who had gone out with him briefly in high school, before she met her ex-husband Caton. Perius has been creating destruction throughout he Shrouded Nation, creating and controlling zombies and people, as well as wanting to take over the world and be in charge, never to be called weak or thought of as less ever again. But somehow, he is still obsessed with Eve and Eve’s special brand of immense magical power! He has the Hand of Xal’nara, as well as a dagger that absorbs magic, an amulet to travel through different realms and dimensions, as well as any number of dangerous and dark artifacts that he has gathered for his grand finale. Before they can even really put a plan into action, they get a call from Carnell, as chaos unfolds elsewhere in town, with Perius and his minions attacking Lilith’s Lounge, a supernatural bar. The manager, Kael aka Kaelgorath, a Malphas demon, has been attacked and come off the worse for wear, which is pretty much impossible in normal situations. He has been cursed and is unable to stay in his human or demonic form. They are going to need more magical power than they have, for Salima to attempt to heal him enough to stabilise his form and for Eve to break the curse, if she can. A little magical boost from one of Greyson’s experimental battery packs for Faith’s guns, may be what they need. Kael saw visions as he struggled under the curse and it showed him that Perius was not working alone. In fact, he is working under someone else, which is a huge shock to them all!
It seems Perius needs yet one more powerful dark artifact to complete his final ritual and steal all the power he could ever want and they will need a boost of Tegan’s relic keeper powers, for her to be able to track it down before he does. Of course, the Sacred Sisterhood, with their two newest additions, Salima and Aurora, keep walking into traps and even at full power, they struggle to contain Perius or even make a dent on getting past his protective shield! There aren’t many clues about who he could be wrong with, as his previous partner disappeared some years ago, along with a huge area left devoid of everything that once was there. He is building up his own army of warlocks, but most who have signed up to his cult like following, are inexperienced and not much of an opponent. The only problem the women have, is the shear number of them! The team have to go to the council buildings to report on their progress, with Caton making a fuss about them being useless, with Lucinda only able to chime in via the big screen, as Hunter barred her from pack lands! Another attack soon interrupts their fun meeting, this time at a human owned bistro, and it seems Eve is definitely a target, as is the Shrouded Nation. Perius’ fixation with Eve leads Tegan to figure out what other magical artifact he is after and what ritual he wants to perform and Eve won’t like it one bit! He wants to take out all of her friends and leave her isolated and powerless to stop him, but underestimating the Sacred Sisterhood, their friends and her mate, Hunter, will be a huge mistake. Eve will find herself in a precarious position with Perius, as he waxes on and on about what he is going to do to the world and she uses her usual snarky comments to get back at him, hopefully to unbalance him and allow him to make a mistake. He doesn’t care what happens to innocents or other supernatural beings, even those who are part of his cult, all he cares about is never being seen as a loser again, or weak as he was in comparison to his brother. Eve has a few unknown surprises up her sleeve which comes from the long line of her magical ancestors, allowing her to do things she never knew she could. But to stop Perius, it will need all of the sisterhood and the special bond they have formed, to finally have enough oomph to put a stop to him and his evil plans. Someone will be on a one-way journey to Sorchwood and the ladies will celebrate in their usual fashion with margheritas and tacos!
The ladies have a difficult time battling Perius and his minions, falling into his traps left, right and centre, before their newly cemented bond helps them to take him down. There is a lovely connection made by Eve to commemorate their new bond together, before a phone call will change everything! I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout, and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Reacquired Relics and Resoluteness
Be prepared for another chaotic journey into the Shrouded Nation! This is book 29 and is well worth reading the previous to understand the journey and evolution of all.
As an avid and voracious reader of Tia Didmon and Brenda Trim, every story is mind-blowingly amazing with the characters, action, magic and more. In this story, there are few words to describe how creatively perfect this draws you in and keeps you hooked.
In this "novel" novel, our heroes and wonderful team of powerful, kind and sometimes humorous ladies are still on the path to find and stop a dark warlock whom has obtained some powerful artifacts that have impacted several magical characters in a not-so-positive way. Once Aurora is tapped for research, she finds some surprising possible considerations such as where he may be hiding and does he have a partner or is he actually working for someone more powerful? Can the ladies take on cursed demons, powerful artifacts, their mates and everyday life? Will Nishi be able to marry Alex without the Shrouded Nation falling apart? Will Eve and Hunter fall prey to a heartbreak artifact? Can Greyson help the Faith with her defensive magic or the ladies with their protections? Just what is to come and how can our team overcome?
Probably one of the absolute best series to get caught up in and no apologies needed. Read this series! No Regrets!

OMG. This book was an awesome read! It was an absolute roller coaster ride of emotions- fun, funny, scary, terrifying, suspenseful, romantic & Steamy, etc. It had pretty much everything thrown in. Faith, Eve, Tegan, & Nishi return to take on the big bad- Perius, who is still working on taking over the world and remaking it. He is still focused on Eve. We learn a lot of things in this book. I chewed on my nails, laughed, punched my bed & pillows, cursed under my breath and felt sick to my stomach at some points while reading it. Hunter was in it more and that made me happy, as was Alex. Salima, the healer and necromancer was in it more too as was Aurora, the werewolf PI. I was really excited about that and bouncing on the bed when things became official. I’ve been hoping that they would become Sacred Sisters. With the four becoming six, their weaknesses would become less and gain in strength and I was right about that. The only thing that I always want more of is Brutus, the dragon. lol. I love how he is a gigantic puppy around Faith. It’s just so cute! I love that. I can’t wait to read what happens next. The ending and fight scenes were awesome in this one and the one liners and snark was off the charts in this one. There were a few times I had to run for the bathroom, because I was laughing so hard.

My only complain about this book is that it took them so long to kick Perius' butt. The Sacred Sisterhood is still after the warlock with the god complex and he seems to be running circles around them. The group grows to six as healer and necromancer Salima, and wolf-shifter PI Aurora jump in to assist. But even the extra firepower, with added help from Hunter, Greyson, and even Alex, doesn't seem to be enough. Perius continues to remain one step ahead and wreck havoc everywhere he goes. He also manages to beat them to dark artifacts that increase his power. It's going to take forging a new bond to give the Sisterhood an edge. Faith, Eve, Nishi, Teagon, Salima and Aurora are combining all their incredible talents into finding the psychopath who has a plam, ancient artifacts and evil thoughts. In a big battle there are too many mundane witnesses. Eve doesn't have enough forget potion. So damage control is needed. Then Eve is kidnapped by Perius.
to her chagrin he monologues. AAARGH!! They find what he is needs to put his plan in action and the battle for everyone is soon taking place.
Will the Sisters win once again and save the mundane as well as the magical world?
Snark, bravery and magic light up the pages and draws the reader into a story that keeps the heart pumping.

All is Well that Ends in Magic is book 29 in the Shrouded Nation Series and book 10 in the Supernatural Midlife Mystique series. Perius is bad news and Eve, Faith, Aurora, Nishi and Tegan are determined to finally stop him. Follow the fun and find out what happens next!
Brenda Trim and Tia Didmon are excellent writers. There characters are not only likeable but are also well written. I recommend this book as well as the entire series! I highly recommend all their books. Each is good but when they get together it is magic! Each book picks up from the last so I recommend starting at the beginning!.

Wonderful series! Perius has gone to ground. They are tired of waiting for him to surface. They reach out to Aurora and see if she has any luck tracking Perius down. A fresh set of eyes with the skills and connections. She doesn't disappoint. This is a great series about empowered women who work together, combine their skills and experiences to fight against evil and corruption. Intriguing storyline, questioning what harrowing situations the Sacred Sisters are going to find themselves in. Highly recommend this entertaining series.

Another instalment from this fast paced series
The sacred sisters have two new members, after lots of twists and turns , fighting for their lives dip they finally catch the crazed warlock to throw his sorry ass in thr magical prison
I’m a little confused because in earlier books the ladies couldn’t combine their powers ? I enjoy the books very much, thr last few however have nothing but the women, what’s happened to their relationships ? Tegan’s daughter? Where’s Brutus it’s like everyone else is forgotten where’s the egg ?.

This is a continuation in Eve's POV. Her struggles to keep everyone alive and keep the world safe. I loved the humor, suspense and mystery. I also liked Hunter supporting and helping out and of course Greyson's toys that Faith used.
Aurora and Salima play a big part in solving problems they come across while trying to defeat Perius. Perfect addition to the Sacred Sisters.
I liked the twists, and the way they work so well together.
Can't wait to see what else the universe has in store for them.

Oh I'm so tempted to tell the ending on this one.
The sisters are working together again, this time they've added two more to the group.
And they're a perfect addition for when it's really needed.
They're still hunting the god wannabe and getting closer.
These ladies are unstoppable, it's just a pity the other side doesn't realise.
Still thoroughly enjoying this series.

The scared sisters have fought many battles, this was perhaps the hardest one, with so may things against them. Perius has used ancient artifacts to gain power to fulfill his ambition to be a god.
The girls, now thinking out of the box have come up with another strategy, perhaps their last hope of capturing him.
Now a sisterhood of six they are ready for the final fight.

We have action, suspense and add two more to the sisterhood. You might even laugh a few times. Aurora is a wolf shifter that is like a PI and is really good. She is helping them find Perius. They are still fighting Perius, he is looking for another artifact. What will it do? Can they stop him? They always seem to be a step behind.

I adore this series and this latest escapade is exciting, thrilling, chaotic and suspenseful. Our sisterhood is on the heels of the dangerous and dark warlock who seems to be playing go hide and seek from them, then a cursed demon gets thrown into the mix and everything turns on it’s head! Heartbreak and humour, magic and mayhem, it’s a fantastic addition to this incredible series!

Wow!
I loved this story! It was filled with witches and magic, demons and shifters, shadows and evil, and an evil wizard bent on worldwide control and full of villainy cliches.

Demons, Curses & Chaos—Just Another Day in the Shrouded Nation
Okay, I knew going into Book 29 that Tia Didmon wouldn’t pull any punches, but All is Well that Ends in Magic? Whew. This one came for my soul and didn’t even buy me dinner first.
I’ve been riding with the Shrouded Nation since the beginning, and this installment feels like the stakes finally cracked open and swallowed us whole. Our elusive dark warlock has been playing hide and seek across dimensions, and right when I thought we were finally gonna catch a break—bam. Cursed demon shows up like a magical middle finger to our entire plan.
What really hit me in the gut, though, was how deeply connected everything suddenly felt. The magical maladies? The ancient power waking up? It's not just random chaos anymore—it’s strategic, dangerous, and personal. Every character I’ve grown to love (and even the ones who drive me up a wall) are facing consequences that feel earned. And that makes every battle, every choice, every heartbreaking moment cut even deeper.
Aurora coming back into the mix? I cheered. Loudly. Possibly scared my cat. But she’s that wildcard energy we needed, and I’m so glad she’s not just a background player this time.
And that final battle? Let’s just say I needed a drink, a nap, and maybe an emotional support warlock after that.
The themes of legacy, sacrifice, and choosing to fight even when the odds are stacked to the sky… it hit hard. And Tia’s ability to weave heartbreak and humor into a magical apocalypse is something I’ll never stop admiring.
Bottom line: If you’ve made it this far in the series, this book rewards every ounce of loyalty. And if you’re new? Buckle the hell up, because this world doesn’t play nice—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Bring on the next magical mess. I’m ready. Kind of. Maybe. (Not really.)
