An 18+ vampire and witch love story with romance, family drama, steamy scenes, and betrayal mixed in. This book is based over 2 time periods with two PoV's. It was a short read, which was perfect for what I wanted. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the rest of the series with Eleanor's and Oskars' stories.

Honestly- editing, this book needs serious editing! The punctuation is awful- it’s so clunky and feels like it’s the first draft! The main character is so flat and pretentious- the only well written part of this book was the sex scene. That is it.

Currently suffering from brain rot. Can’t read anything too serious because, well, have you watched the news lately? So this looked decent. Well, not really, but it got five star reviews… The writing is bad and I don’t mean story-wise (that’s bad too). I’d compare it to the subtitles for the Chinese drama shorts. You know, where past, present, and future tense are fluid? Wait. I take it back. The subtitles are probably better. Trying to sort through that, gratuitous sex scenes, and one dimensional characters ? I did try to skim ahead because I hate not finishing books (and I’ve finished some pretty bad ones), but my brain shut down and I had to return the book. No, really. The book is set somewhere in the 1900s in an alternate reality. The main character is a poor farm girl who spends most of her time in a coffee shop reading novels while her father is dying from consumption, and all they can afford to eat is porridge. She meets a vampire, has sex with said vampire, turns into a vampire and kills her father(?) I’m not sure about the last part. I might be wrong. Like I said, my brain shut down after a few pages in. I apologize if I’ve offended the author or anyone else. I’ve never written a book. Congratulations on getting published and everything but…yeah. One star.

This was a really fun read! The fmc is sassy and feisty and I enjoyed her character development. I loved the chemistry between Elenor and Oskar, and the spicy scenes were fab. It’s quite fast paced and moves along quickly. It’s a really short read so I read it in few hours, and it’s exactly what I needed as I do love a good vampire romance, being addicted to The Vampire Diaries! 🤣 The story ended on a cliffhanger so I’m really looking forward to reading more of this story to see where it goes!

This is a small town romance but with a vampire and witch in the era of burn the witch, it has a touch her die, FMC in her villain era and betrayals at every turn.

If you like fated mates, vampires, witches and Fae you want people building rivalries, spice and a fun quick palette cleanser then I definitely recommend picking up and maybe picking who your fave is 👀

This is most probably a me problem but i couldnt finish it. The lack of punctuation made me keep rereading parts and i couldnt keep up. I also think the writing just wasnt for me. I really tried but I didnt want to force myself to finish.
