Such a silly fun picture book of Professor Nincompoop who, with the discovery of a new animal that "only the other animals know what it is", hopes to enter the Professor's Hall of Fame. The professors child assistants, Nick and Tess, add realism to the professor's wacky perspective. When the professor finally reveals his animal discovery, the panda-poodle-cock-a-doodle, Nick and Tess point out that, actually, it's only his pet hamsters, Lewis and Clark, but professor doesn't mind. It's all fun.
Fun comic style illustrations. Four stars for its kid-appeal.

I read this to my kids (8, 6, 4) and they all Enjoyed it. It is a funny read and provides a lot of big vocabulary words and the pictures are very cute and fun. The book is a lot of fun for the kids and provides a lot of laughs.
