Boys of the South #6. Burn For You can be read as a standalone.
1 Single Dad, 1 Nanny, 1 Month in Monaco, Endless Nights...
Beau Montgomery is *not* the typical single dad for three reasons:
1. He's rich and famous. 2. He needs a nanny, like yesterday. 3. He has no idea if eight month old, Mia, is actually his daughter.
Only, number three doesn't matter to him, because he's determined to give up everything to be a standup dad, including racing, partying, and his favorite vice-women. Until that is, he's invited to race in Monaco--a dream he's always had. Now, all those things he'd sworn to give up are at his fingertips, including the very inconveniently hot nanny, Landry Basnight, who's traveling with him.
Landry Basnight *is* the typical college graduate for three reasons:
1. She's broke and in debt up to her eyeballs. 2. She needs a job, like yesterday. 3. Nothing exciting ever happens in her life.
Only, number three is about to change, because she's been hired by Beau Montgomery, son of Racing Royalty. Landry's parents are big fans of the Montgomerys, while she couldn't care less--all she wants is to make a dent in her student loans. However, that doesn't stop her from falling in love with her little charge, nor does it make it easier to resist Beau's charms.
Lines are crossed, and then forgotten as Beau and Landry grow closer, but when Beau's ex-girlfriend, who is also Mia's mother, shows up, everything starts to fall apart for the new couple.
Will their love weather the storm, or will Beau abandon Landry for the family he's always wanted?

Marquita Valentine is a New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author of contemporary romance.
When she's not writing sexy heroes who adore their sassy heroines, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Married to her high school sweetheart, Marquita lives in a seriously small town in the south.
SPOILERS AND EXCERPTS: A story about the hero, his 2 heroines and his daughter.
Hero: Beau Heroine 1: Paisely, his first love (she's meant to be the ow) Their daughter: Mia (he accepts her as his own although paternity hasn't been proven) Heroine 2: Landry, Mia's nanny (she's the one he ends up with)
The bottom line: - Beau and Paisely are high school sweethearts. Intense, volatile and broken. The damaged, passionate stuff so many of the latest books are based on. Beau about his relationship with Paisely: “I was insanely jealous and possessive, and fucked up most of the time I was with her. The thought of another man with her made me crazy..."
- Mia is born. Beau and Paisely are no longer together at this stage. Beau's main focus is now having that family he has always desperately craved for.
- Sweet "normal" Landry is hired to look after baby Mia because Paisely now has cancer, is dying, and as Paisely says to Beau near the end of their story: "I picked her for you and Mia as soon as I found out there wasn’t a cure.”
Page 1: Beau's thoughts about Paisely, the ow: “I remember the very first time I fell in love. It was the summer before my senior year of high school.”
50% in: Beau sees ow: “Paisley gives me a smile, one that takes my breath away, because I haven’t seen one like it since the day I met her.”
75% in: Beau's thoughts during his and Landry's "first time" together: “What if I’ve fallen too hard and too quickly like I did with Paisley? I inwardly groan. Not her. Not right now. She (Paisely) said I would think of her, when I was with Landry, and I hate how fucking right she is.” ...“I grab her hand before it can go lower and place it right over my heart, right over Paisley’s initials."
85% in: The "morning after" Beau and Landry's first time together, WHILE HE IS STILL IN THE BED THEY JUST WOKE UP IN: Beau to Paisely, on the fone: “I recall fucking you for so hard that you couldn’t walk the next day. Then we did it all over again. Hell, you even let me replace that stick up your ass with something bigger, and I don’t remember you saying anything but, “Fuck me harder, Beau.”
(Although Paisely is no longer a love interest, her hold on him is still powerful)
93% in: Paisely: “I don’t want to die..." Beau: ...“Then live, honey. Live for Mia. She’s going to need her momma for so many things. I won’t know what to do.” Paisely: “Landry will,” she says. “She loves Mia almost as much as you and I do, and as time goes by, she’ll love her like her own daughter.” Beau: “Stop talking like that, damn it.” ... Paisely: ...“Damn Landry Basnight and thank God for her. She’s getting the best of you and me.” Beau: “Mia will always be your daughter. We won’t let her forget you,” I promise her. Forget promise. I swear it.”
THE END: Paisely chose well for Beau and Mia. Landry is the perfect back-up mum and stand-in wife. Here she talks to Paisely's grave about pictures of Paisely: “... I've already framed them and scattered them throughout the house so Mia won’t have to go very far to see you.”

I’m sorry, but I am only 20% in and already so many issues. The hero is beyond pathetic, I have cringed so much at what he has said so far! The woman he loves so much is atrocious, but apparently she is a good mum? For giving her child breakfast? The hero is not sure if the child in the story is his, at five months old? DNA test would have been done and dusted months ago! And no offence but five month olds should really be munching on Cheerios for breakfast. And breath! I am determined to finish this, but if the hero does not grow a backbone, the bitch does not disappear and the heroine gets some more love, It is gonna drag!
Marquita Valentine's Boys of the South is one of my favorite new adult romance series. I may be a northern girl (sorry, my part of Virginia is NOT the south), but even I can't deny that boys are hotter in the south. The girls are also sassier. It's a win-win. I thoroughly enjoy getting lost in these novels with their complicated and likable characters and the stories that are always just a little more than just a romance. I loved Rae and Cole. Bliss and Jackson stole my heart with their opposites-attract story. Wyatt and Lacey's journey exhausted me in the best way possible. But all that is nothing compared to Beau and Landry. Marquita took the story to another level entirely with this book and to say I was emotionally invested in these characters would be a gross understatement.
Landry was a great heroine. I found her easy to connect with and more than likable. She was sweet as could be, but she also had a backbone. She was determined and strong. As much as I liked Landry, my feelings for Beau were what really drove my enjoyment of this book. He could have easily been a cliched bad boy, but he was so, so much more. I have a new favorite book boyfriend, y'all, and it will take awhile for someone to unseat him, I do believe.
Beau was incredible. This book felt like his story more than Landry's, honestly, but that may be just because we were treated to his backstory at the beginning of the book. After his mother's suicide, Beau was more or less alone in the world. He was the illegitimate child of a man with whom he didn't have a good relationship. He met Paisley in high school and they had a very unhealthy relationship. He loved her, she pretty much treated him like crap and he took it. Paisley gets pregnant and Beau falls in love with the baby, Mia, immediately. The only problem is, she may or may not be his. That doesn't matter to him, regardless of how Paisley likes to throw it in his face. Beau may be a tattooed and pierced race car driver, but the guy underneath is as sweet as iced tea in the south. He loves deeply and is very protective of those he cares about.
Landry and Beau have an interesting first meeting – one laced with an almost instant attraction – but it's not until he interviews her to be Mia's nanny that things begin to get interesting. She wants the job and him, he wants her but understands nothing can happen between them because she's the nanny, and offers the job to someone else. Fate (or something, cough) intervenes and after his first choice is deemed unfit to watch his child, he hires Landry and the real fun begins. The chemistry these two have is undeniable. They try to fight it, but I'm sure we all know how that turns out.
For a guy who is as sweet as can be, let me tell you, Beau gives good dirty talk. My god. His words left me fanning myself and being very, very envious of Landry. These two were downright combustible together. They truly cared for each other, too. Their road wasn't easy, but even the most complicated things have a way of working out for the best.
Burn for You was a wild ride. The characters were wonderful and so easy to connect with. Their struggles were believable and I wanted to see them all find happiness in the end. The romance was sweet, the love scenes HOT. Beau's relationship with Mia was sweet and just endeared him even more to me. It takes a real man to be a daddy, especially when he's not even sure the child is his. Beau was a real man... and an incredible one at that. He and Landry were fantastic together. The story was unexpectedly deep in places, especially with regards to the relationship with his ex, Paisley. There were some unexpected twists and turns that kept me on my toes. I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting, with no regrets.
Though Burn for You is part of a series, it's a standalone novel with no cliffhanger. You wouldn't necessarily need to read the other books in the series to enjoy it, but you totally should anyhow because you need some Cole and Rae, Jackson and Bliss, and Wyatt and Lacey in your life. Trust me. While this may be the end of Beau and Landry's story, I hope this series continues. It just keeps getting better and better and I can't wait to see what happens next.
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Okay, I have been waiting for this book since... forever. As soon as I read Live For You (book #1) I instantly knew that Beau needed his own book. Call it intuition or just plain attraction, I knew there was something more to Beau Montgomery than his tattoos and overall sex appeal... and I was right.
Beau Montgomery never had it easy, being the illegitimate child of a car racing legend and a woman who passed away in a very unfortunate and saddening way, it was hard growing up "normal." Having to learn to adapt and find his way was difficult, reading about his journey to becoming who he is now was very enlightening and very slap in the face-like. Ever since that faithful day that Beau met his now ex-girlfriend, Paisley, his life has never been the same. Seeing him get all torn up about her and how much he hurt, made me hurt. Beau gave her his all and she took, took and took until she found someone else. And now, Beau is taking care of his daughter (who he isn't even sure is his daughter because of Paisley's extracurricular activities) without complaint and anger, he just loves Mia. Being able to read about Beau's past and how he came to be made me sympathize and understand him. Seeing him grow into a person capable of loving unconditionally even after going through what he did made me believe that there really is hope for everyone, and that Beau is seriously one of the best men out there.
Right off the bat, I felt the sexual tension between Landry and Beau, I could almost feel how thick it was. I generally liked Landry as a character, she was sweet, kind and also genuinely cared for both Beau and Mia. I liked Landry's spunk and her need to be independent; and her being responsible made me see how mature of a character she was. Every time I would read a scene between Landry and Beau, I could not help but giggle, they were great together but we all know that love is never a smooth road...
The huge thorn on both Beau and Landry's side is Paisley, Mia's mother and Beau first true love. It's not because she's deliberately antagonistic but with the way she was raised and everything she went through, it became a sort of defense mechanism for her to be spiteful and cruel, especially to Beau. There were moments when you would catch a glimpse of a kind mother who genuinely loved her daughter, and those moments gave me hope that she wasn't a complete witch. What Marquita Valentine did was that she makes you dislike Paisley but also makes you sympathize with her, it was nice to be able to understand the "mean girl" in a book since we're hardly ever given the opportunity to really get to know them. Paisley definitely has a lot of layers and as chapters go by, you'll see them get peeled off one by one till all you have is her core. By the end of the book, I actually liked Paisley. *sniffles*
Marquita Valentine could not have made me any more proud. I absolutely loved this book and how she handled Beau's story. Everything was so unexpected and felt very much like car racing, speedy with turns and swerves that will leave you breathless with excitement. I am so happy that Marquita Valentine wrote this book the way she did, she did Beau, Landry and Paisley justice. I cannot wait to see what else is coming from the Boys of the South series! Very excited.
Hahaha wow! Didn't finish after page 18. The writing isn't done well at all. Like, the book starts out with beau telling us about his past and how he began a relationship with this paisley girl and it's the most ridiculous relationship ever. He goes right up to her, is immediately holding her, they make out immediately and have sex after making out for awhile, like out at a lake? I think that's where they are? In public somewhere? The writing is done horribly so I'm not quite sure exactly what the scenario is here but it's all so abrupt and strange. They have sex in the trees somewhere during the day. Not like, after meeting in a club or something. And they bonded immediately because they both found their moms bodies after they'd committed suicide? Hmm...alrighty seems super unlikely but so is having sex in a public place the second you meet someone. But the way he then describes his continued relationship with paisley over the next few years(? I think it's years but I literally have no idea because of the writing) with this girl it makes him seem like the dumbest, pushover type of guy. I'm very turned off by him because paisley is cheating on him and is weird and treats him badly but he keeps begging her to take him back. Gah dude! Grow a pair! Why does he want to be with this rude, cheating girl? Oh, and then it's like he's all of the sudden a race car driver? It's like mentioned kinda in passing that he's rich and famous now? You'd think since he starts out telling us this back story of his life that he'd mention the fact that he started a race car driving career, etc. but nope. That's left out. Seriously this writing! Ive never read writing quite like this. The set up is so weirdly written and leaves me scratching my head. The story line and everything that has happened so far is cliche and ridiculous. I tried to get past this initial part because I can see the author was trying very hard to make us hate paisley so I held on until I could see how beau and this new girl, Landry would meet and interact. And wow did it disappoint. Cliche hot girl working as a sexy waitress for the rich and famous, meets hot guy beau. Landry monologues beaus looks and how hot he makes her. Beau then is all touching Landry and saying the corniest stuff to her and I want to gag. Plus, everything that beau has said and done has been like overly perfect. Especially how he acts with paisley. I mean, yes it's commendable the way he treats paisley, who is a despicable person, but its also just not done well. He's coming across as paisleys pathetic little lap dog as well as a very author contrived character-like the author was trying really hard to make us like beau and see how perfect he is. THis kind of book just does not cut it for me.
I really thought that Beau and Landry are both very loyal and kind people. Landry has always done the right thing; she has wonderful parents and struggles like the rest of us with one thing or another in life. Right now, she is over her head in school debts and needs a good job. That job just ends up being the nanny for Beau Montgomery, a NASCAR driver. Sparks fly the moment the two meet. But Landry feels like it would be crossing the line to have a relationship with someone she works with.
Beau feels the same. Too bad neither can do it! Beau has a child, Mia, who came from a relationship he had with Paisley, who Beau was faithful to, but Paisley wasn’t someone who could be tamed or tied down. Beau finds out the daughter she had may or may not be his. But Beau falls in love instantly with Mia and doesn’t care if it is his or not. To Beau; he is the father. He is utterly in love with that baby girl and does right by her. He is a good father. He is also not like the person that the press makes him out to be.
Beau was raised by his mother until she committed suicide. Beau was then taken to live with his father and step mother. His step mother was kind and Beau was nice to her as well since Beau’s dad was married to her when Beau’s mother got pregnant. Beau’s dad was another famous Driver and a womanizer. Sounds like a soap opera huh?!!
Eventually Landry and Beau get together and have some hurdles to overcome.
What I liked: I loved how Beau was a good dad and kept his ex in Mia’s life. I loved how kind and sweet, Landrey was. I enjoyed watching people grow and right mistakes made. I also liked that Beau and Landry promised that they would never lie to each other and didn't. They did have the best makings of a great forever relationship.
What I didn’t like: Beau and Landry’s bedroom scenes border on raunchy to me with the talking. They just don’t seem that way to me. I had to skip over it. And there were some medical errors too.
I thought I loved Cole, but Beau is by far my favorite so far. He's sweet, loving, willing to take responsibility for his actions, and not a man whore. His love for and devotion to his daughter made him so likeable. Landry was very sweet but not a pushover. They were a good couple with great chemistry. Even though other characters from MV's books made guest appearances or were mentioned in reference, this can be a stand-alone novel. Don't miss it!
This was a really fast read for me. I was hooked right from the beginning. I enjoyed Beau and Landry’s story but at the beginning I thought he was very aggressive and even demanding. I felt bad by how his ex treated him and had control over him. Paisley was mean and controlling with their daughter Mia. I did love the fact that beau didn’t care if Mia was his real daughter or not, he treated her like his own. I really liked that not many guys would do that. I am glad that Landry softened beau and kept him grounded. Made for a fast entertaining read.
I just adore The Boys of the South Series by Marquita Valentine and I have really been excited about reading Beau Montgomery's story. He has been a secondary character in the previous novels, but he's always had this mysterious hotness and sex appeal about him that has intrigued me and made me want to get to know him better, and in Burn For You, that is exactly what you get to do.
Beau Montgomery is a very wealthy and famous race car driver who has always had the "playboy" reputation. All that begins to change when the woman who he thought was the love of his life...and the woman who has broken his heart time and time again, drops the little lady who steals his heart pretty much in his lap. Beau doesn't know if Mia is his daughter or not, but he loves her just the same and would do anything, and I mean anything for her, and he does. As a matter of fact, he proves to be one of the most amazing dad's you've ever seen. When he is presented with an opportunity that has been a dream of his and is too good to turn down, he needs a Nanny and he needs her now. Landry Basnight is up to her eyeballs in student debt. The job that she had in school was, let's just say, not something she wanted to continue to do, especially after she met Beau Montgomery there. She has no idea when she applies for the Nanny position that it would be for Beau Montgomery, and he certainly has no idea when he opens the door for her interview appointment that he would find Landry on the other side. Neither feel that the job would be a good idea or work for them, but fate, with a little help from someone that will surprise you, has a different plan.
Beau, Landry, and Mia wind up in Monaco for Beau's race. Landry is wonderful with Mia, thoroughly impressing both Beau, his family, and Mia's not so stable mother AKA Beau's ex. The chemistry between Beau and Landry is undeniable and trying to keep things strictly business proves futile. Landry is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She is also very mature, yet very innocent and trusting. Beau is all kind of sexy, complete with the hot dirty talk, and surprisingly, not the player he seems to be after all. Beau also has his secrets from his past that eat at him, and then there is Mia's mom. Landry is crazy about Beau, but she also isn't sure she fits into his world, and there are a few hurtful situations that occur during the process, but my boy Beau handles things really well, which was very impressive.
The romance was hot, steamy, and has you rooting for the characters. The story itself is fun, heart-warming, definitely sexy, and it also has it's sad moments. The ending surprised me, but in a good way. Marquita Valentine in her trademark style, has yet again provided her readers with a wonderful and captivating contemporary romance. If you are a fan of this genre, Burn For You is something I most definitely recommend checking out. It is part of a series, but can also be read as a standalone.
Wow! I love Marquita's books and her new adult books usually hit an emotional punch to the gut. Yes, Burn for You does have a strong emotional story. However, the level kind threw me off. Maybe threw me off is the wrong phrase, but more like surprised me. Before I even got my greedy little hands on this book, I actually thought Beau would do something extremely stupid. Honestly, I was waiting for it to happen, but the story wasn't what I expect. Marquita seem to take a different turn, and it seemed bring more than what I was expecting.
When you read Burn for You, you need to keep in mind a few of the characters cause they play a pretty big role in the story. Yes, you have Beau and Landry and there relationship. Beau tries hard to keep in within the bounds of employee and employer, but he just can't seem to keep himself away from Landry. You have Beau and Paisley tumultuous past relationship, of course it effects Beau's current relationship. We can't forget the strained relationship between his father and the surprise that laid ahead.
Burn for You presented many facets that I would never expected. The ending was complete surprise. I love how she was able to tie the past and slowly unravel to bring peace to everyone. With that said, I absolutely loved Beau. You get a glimpse of him in the past books and you got to see that there was more than the playboy racier. However, his character really blossom. I think with help of Landry he was able to open up more and become something he could be proud. Landry is an unique character, because she recognized that they needed to work things out. She somehow was able to help Beau to reconcile with the past. Overall, I'm pleased with how Burn for You turned out. I love how she took the story and somehow made it blossom into something I would never expected.
Favorite Quote: '"I want a love that makes me burn and melt and gives me every gooey feeling in the world. I want a morning kisses and late-night talk kind of love. I want a eat dessert naked in bed kind of love." I take a deep breath. "I want a man who chooses to love me --in good times and bad, because I'm going to chose to love him right back. We won't be perfect, nothing's perfect but it would be my kind of perfect love."'
OMG I loved this book so much!!! Beau and Landry might just be my favorite couple from the Boys of the South books now.
I’m a huge fan of Marquita Valentine. I was lucky enough to get an early review copy of Burn For You and have to say I fell hard and fast for Beau in this book.
I’ve loved all the books in this series and seem to add a new book boyfriend to my list with each book. Have to say that I don’t think anyone can top Beau in this series. I love a sexy man, but add in a sexy man who loves a little girl who might not even be his, and you have a heart-melting hero.
I really wasn’t a fan of Beau’s ex Paisley through much of the book. I felt like she was stringing him along and using Mia to keep him around. I kind of felt like she was trying to keep Landry and Beau apart when Landry first took the job as nanny to Mia, and it made me dislike her even more. However, I loved that Landry made such a huge effort to make sure Paisley could still see and talk to Mia each day while they were all in Monaco. It honestly made me love Landry even more than I already did.
Beau and Landry were a super sweet couple. Landry and Beau had pretty great chemistry from the moment they met, yet really did try and fight their mutual attraction to make sure Mia came first. I loved Landry and Beau together and thought they made the sweetest little family with Mia in the mix. I honestly saw them as a family pretty much from the moment Landry started working as Mia’s nanny and was worried Paisley would continue to try and mess with Beau’s life. I never really saw the truth about what was going on with Paisley and really felt bad about much I didn’t like her. I did actually end up having respect for Paisley by the end of the book.
Burn For You is an amazing addition to the Boys of the South series. While this book can easily be read as a stand-alone, the first 4 books in the series are fabulous too and I highly recommend reading the books in order.
Oh my, I just closed my kindle & I am still wiping the tears away. What a fantastic book Ms. Valentine has written. I admit I have been a fan for some time now, since I first read her Holland Springs Series, which is also fantastic.
I first met Beau when he was working for his mentor, Carter Ambrose, back home in Holland Springs as a teenager in “Drive Me Crazy”. I was very pleased to meet him again after he had a chance to grow up. He’s turned into one heck of a great guy, even with all he went through to get there.
Landry is the perfect match for Beau & exactly what he needs in his life, exactly when he needs her. She has just finished college degree in Early Childhood Education & needs to pay of her student loans so she can get her Masters but to do that she needs a job & she needs one now. She applies to be a nanny & gets the job taking care of Beau’s baby girl.
Beau & Landry are attracted to one & another immediately (they had actually met briefly once before & the sparks flew) but they try, at first, to keep things businesslike between them. That doesn’t last very long, once Beau realizes that Landry really is as genuine as she seems.
There are some interesting twists & turns to this story, some that really shocked me but made the story even better than I expected. If you are looking for a beautiful love story that will pull at your heartstrings this book is for you. Oh & by the way, it’s REALLY hot!!!
I’ve been waiting for Beau’s story since the boys’ first poker game, so I was excited to see his book was finally out! Beau has always worn his rebellious reputation with pride, whether it was earned or simply speculation. His bright smile and fast cars added to the illusion of a carefree man in his prime. Until he learns he’s fathered a baby… maybe. In comes Landry, Beau’s definition of sin and salvation in one sweet package. He can’t decide if he wants to run toward her and risk his broken heart or chase her away. Complicating everything further is Mia’s mother, Paisley, who is about two shakes from being the devil incarnate. She puts everyone through hell—most of all, herself. Burn For You is a sexy and heartwarming story you don’t want to miss.
I LOVED THIS!!! Let me just say that I was not expecting to like this book as much as I ended up loving it. Don’t get me wrong I was definitely interested when I read the synopsis but it was better than what I even though it was going to be. This is the first book I have read by the author and now I have to read the first four....I guess I should have started out with those.
Heart-melting. Steamy. Passionate. Romantic. I can tell you without a doubt that this is my favorite book in this series! Beau and Landry's story blew me away. I've always like Beau, but I'm telling you...you will fall for him hard in this book!
This book can be read as a stand alone, but I do recommend the series as a whole. Also, an excellent compliment to this story is the first book in the Holland Springs Series. You get to meet Beau as a teenager and I think it made me love him that much more.
The sex could be hot but the heroes ex (and baby mama) was clearly a terrible person through the book. Until it's time for the emotionally and baby-entangled hero is looking for a HEA with the baby's nanny .. and suddenly, baby mom is dying AND "chose" the nanny for the H to,fall in love with? And everything is forgiven and they love her and promise to tell the baby all about her "great" mom? Whatever.

Kinda disappointed in this one. Really liked Beau in the other books of this series - but this one kinda fell flat. Was a little to contrived for my taste. I don't think there was good development of the character's relationship - they just boom were in Love. Love this Series - Love Marquita - didn't love this one. :(
Another winning book in Valentine's Boys of the South series. The ending was incredibly unexpected but I absolutely loved how everything played out! Although I don't mind books that I can pretty much see the ending from the first chapter, I appreciated the unusual circumstances with how this one turned out.
An amazing addition to the Boys of the South series. A fantastic story with sizzling attraction between the characters and obstacles that tug at your heart. Bad boy Beau is a single father in need of a nanny. Good girl Landry just graduated college and needs a job. Can they fight the attraction that sparks between them? I highly recommend you read this one!
Beau, a professional race car driver with a complicated love life and an adorable daughter needs a nanny. Landry, has no love life and really needs a job. A week in Monaco, will change their lives. Full review to follow ......
This is by far the best book in the whole Boys of the South series. Yes. It was really *that* good. Beau is hotness defined. I loved his & Landry's relationship and how they always included little Mia. So worth the wait for the book & I almost want to re-read it all over again.
Out of all 5 books this is the one Iv been most looking forward to because of the kinda character Beau is. To say I wasn't disappointed is an understatement ❤️❤️❤️ beau and actually cried at a certain point of the story. If I could give more than 5
Really good book but I had to take .5 star because Paisley getting sick and dying came out of nowhere. It was like, it's done just to get rid of her. No purpose really.
Bestill my heart! Beau is a dreamboat! And even better, he's an awesome dad!!! Loved this story and love Beau and Landry as a couple, very sexy and very sweet. <3
This was my first book from this author and I loved all of it. From start to finish this book kept me turning the pages. I can't wait to go back and read her other books now.
