Have never done Pilates but I can see the big difference from my regular yoga poses. Although they seem to be about the same with Pilates there are multiple muscle groups worked at the same time
There is a 28 day menu plan included and at the end of the book is the nutritional information including: calories, carbs, fat and sugars, serving size and Ingredients for just one serving along with directions.
Starts with deeper information about the 6 principles of Pilates. Other chapters discuss what you will need with consideration to the wall material itself, flooring, lighting and ventilation. Tips are included about the right wall for you. Equipment is also discussed, and how to use the items.
The exercises and warming up give the title, a summary of the exercise, pictures of how it's done and then instructions on how it's done Modifications are also included and tips for each exercise. Breathing is also discussed in detail as it's very important you breathe correctly, and also stand up straight for your spine.
Index of movements is listed at the end along with references.
Great resource book, keep this one handy!

Pilates has been a recent discovery in my life and as a training mentor this book has been a key discovery for my team, using Pilates as a complementary exercise for women is something useful and important. This book uses a unique technique mostly focused on wall exercises to achieve core strength, stability, and weight loss through low impact.
What I liked the most about this book is the different sections that give different exercises, routines, and challenges that help everyone to achieve their goal. In my opinion, the 10-minute routines are useful to strengthen and focus on specific body parts. The Breathing exercises are a must! I reaffirmed that this is a key part of workout and performance, I tried the 28-day Challenge and it is amazing something you need to challenge yourself to do and motivate yourself to change your body and your routines.

Healthy Life

Since hernias in my spine were discovered, the dr. recommended me to do Pilates, but the truth is that I had not been able to do it for lack of time and thinking about going to the Gym was not in my plans, but with this book all my "buts" changed.
Wall Pilates Workouts for Women is an easy and very complete guide on how to do this exercise at home, plus it offers a very complete, rich and easy to elaborate food guide. With this book, I can do my routines wherever I want and whenever I want. The illustrations in the book serve as a guide in case you are not clear about any exercise.
It is a very complete book, which covers many topics that should be taken into account to have a healthy life.

This book guides us to a great wall pilates routine and helps us prepare for the workout. It even has a 28-day meal plan to assist with your desired transformation. Also, toward the end of the book, the author included the recipes for the meals in the 28-day meal plan, which was awesome. To get the body to respond to the workouts, you need the proper fuel to prepare your body. The setup was easy to follow, suitable for beginners, and you only need a few things to prepare. The author did a great job adding the illustrations and the instructional videos for the readers to follow. The instructions are clear and mindful of the people doing the exercises. It always reminds the reader not to push to hear the body's words.

I started reading this book "Wall Pilates Workouts for Women" by Claudia Lynne, after becoming interested in learning more about Pilates and thanks to my doctor's recommendation to do other types of exercises for health reasons. I discovered with the book a different approach to exercises that fits very well into my busy lifestyle. This is a 28-day guide that gives results in just 10 minutes a day, and I must say it really delivers. I really like the Pilates routines on the wall, they are very effective, and I have focused on the exercises to strengthen the core and tone the body, which are the ones I like the most, and best of all from the comfort of my home. I definitely recommend it!

Invest in yourself

I love this kind of book! I am an athlete and I recognize the importance of giving love to our body, one way is to stretch and protect our joints. With the passage of time, the practice of pilates has become more and more relevant. However, in some countries, the practice of this exercise can be expensive. This book has very practical, simple and easy to do exercises that are approached in a great way. It is very cool because we can open it every day for 10 minutes and have a moment of connection with our body. Pd: this book is not only for women, I think it is functional for men as well.

Pilates has appealed to me as an exercise method for years. Now that I am older, my balance and strength are not what they used to be, so learning how to use a wall to support pilates exercises appealed to me. This book is laid out like other titles by this author, to be referred to over several weeks as part of a month long exercise plan. She includes a four-week menu plan and recipes to simplify your monthly routine. Each set of weekly exercises includes not only the basic level but also easier and harder versions to suit all experience levels. I also appreciate that the exercise illustrations feature an average-looking person, rather than a super athletic ideal. Overall, I enjoyed the material covered and found it a helpful instruction tool.

This was a fun and easy read. The routines are easy to understand as well as the recipes at the end! I did appreciate the photos for each workout. I want to make sure I'm doing them right, and that definitely helps. I also did love the modifications in case they seem a bit intense for you. You can work your way up, and they look great! Can't wait to try them out.

This is the total Package. Once again Claudia brings forward a comprehensive how to, from breathing, to diet, to exercise. Her descriptions are clear, concise and easily understandable, as are the accompanying images. If you are looking for a comprehensive Wall Pilates program, I highly recommend you check it out!

10 minutes a day

The author provides Pilates movements without needing a Pilates machine. Routines only take 10 minutes a day . There is a 4 week exercise plan plus a diet plan included. Photos are easy to follow.

Take up wall.pilates

This book does a nice job explaining what wall pilates is and how it may benefit you. Each exercise is well explained and has easy to follow directions. There are also a few different routines in the book that can help you meet a specific goal.
