Ghost Wars: Resurrection
A thrilling adventure that will appeal to fans of The Kane Chronicles, GHOST WARS: RESURRECTION is about a fourteen year-old medium who overhears the ghosts of the four presidential assassins plotting to return and attack the President while on a class trip to Washington, D.C.
Nick McCaffrey and his best and only friend, Gene the Genius, know the danger of each text, call and download. The wireless spectrum is a limited natural resource, but we aren't the only ones using it. The dead have figured out a way to leach onto and suck the energy from the ever increasing invisible signals filling the airwaves. Every time we hit "send", we aren't just contacting each other. We are contacting the dead and bringing them back.
Shunned years earlier after revealing his psychic gift to the adults in his life, Nick risks what little he has left in an action-packed race through our nation’s Capitol to stop his new enemies from materializing in our screen addicted world and killing again. Before the day is over, Nick and Gene find themselves in the middle of a ghost war playing out on the National Mall as dead soldiers from different eras rise to join the fight.
