PULP MODERN observes the 50th anniversary of the coup in Dallas with nine pulp fiction stories by Terry Alexander, Joe Clifford, Ken Goldman, Ross Peterson, Rob Pierce, Eryk Pruitt, Chris Rhatigan, Mav Skye, and Frank Sonderborg.
Joe Clifford is the author of several books, including Junkie Love, the Jay Porter Thriller Series, Say My Name, All Who Wander, as well as editor of Trouble in the Heartland: Crime Stories Based on the Songs of Bruce Springsteen and others. Joe’s writing can be found at www.joeclifford.com.
A crack bunch of short-story writers takes the JFK Conspiracy ball and runs with it into the end zone, out of the stadium, and into some great bizarro territory. I liked them all, but this concept was tailormade for the warped imagination of Chris Rhatigan. The Mav Skye entry was cut from much the same cloth.
