Another great book in the Summerhill series. I love the way Kate Perry writes and the characters she creates. Best to read the other books in the series but can be read as a standalone.

If Titania Summerhill made a list of all her current problems, it would include:
1)Being evicted from her apartment
2)Having little to no money (see #1)
3)No editor will purchase/print her stunningly beautiful photographs
4)Having a wretched, egotistical and, highly influential ex-lover (see #3)
5)She has to move back home, the one place on Earth she swore never to return to
To make this whole situation infinitely worse:
1) Her beloved sister, Imogen, is on set in Greece and has encouraged Titania to go home and,
2) One of her go-to editors has told her if she can get photos of the elusive
footballer (soccer, for the Yanks!) Ian MacNiven she will be golden and no editor anywhere will turn her down.
Yeah, it basically sucks to be Titania Summerhill right now. But - and this is a big but - Titania has never backed down from a challenge and isn’t about to start now. All she has to do is track down Ian MacNiven, get him to accept her living with him for a short amount of time – or as long as it takes and, convince him that she is not just some tabloid photographer but a serious photojournalist with his best interests in mind and not just a big payday. To be fair, the photos will get Titania back on her feet financially and out of the personal Hell she calls her childhood home.
Ian MacNiven is one of Britain’s top footballers but after suffering a major injury during a car accident, he has all but disappeared. If it weren’t for his best friend, Rowdy, Ian would likely remain in the alcohol-induced stupor has been in for weeks. As far as Ian is concerned, he can’t play football so his life is over and there is no point in anything anymore. Rowdy is big, boisterous, beautiful, loyal to a fault and, determined to help his friend make a comeback. Rowdy moves in with Ian gets him cleaned up, back into a healthy routine and, keeps allowing Titania Summerhill into the apartment. Though Ian is absolutely resistant to having his picture taken, he is also up against one of the most beautiful, intriguing and, stubborn women he has ever encountered. Between Rowdy and Titania, Ian just might back to the land of the living and come out the other side better than he was before the accident.
The back and forth between Titania and Ian is fantastic- those two in the same room together are like a train wreck and you just can’t stop watching. Titania is brutally honest and though she takes some photographs of Ian without his knowledge, she assures him they will never be published without his consent. Ian is so caught up in his own misery that it takes him more than a little time to realize that Titania’s photographs of him are not just brilliant but she is too and she may just be his salvation. Titania is in much the same boat. She is so caught up in not wanting to be in her childhood home with her family and desperately trying to reinstate her professional reputation that she nearly misses the man she wasn’t even looking for but somehow found. Again, I say, if it weren’t for Rowdy . . . .
The Bottom Line: Yet another truly fantastic read from Kate Perry and there doesn’t seem to be any stopping her!!!! Titania is just ridiculous but you can’t help but love her even when she silently thinks of Summer as “the usurper” and the “bastard by a mistress”. Though she is professionally phenomenal she is personally screwed up and highly resistant to facing the past and her family. The uncomfortable nature of her homecoming makes the read all the more interesting and intense and the resolution of her issues and problems all the sweeter. Ian is so sad at the beginning of this read and though you want to choke the life out of him from time-to-time he is still a very loveable and redeemable man. His strength of character, stubbornness and, determination are a perfect match for Titania. Ian’s wit and sarcasm are also necessary traits for fitting in with the Summerhill’s and by the end of the read I was so damn glad to see Ian really embracing his new life and love. There seems to be no stopping Kate Perry and I am still very glad there are a butt ton of Summerhill sisters. Stay the Night is a fresh and fun read with lots of humor, lots of wit and an HEA that is well and truly earned and deserved. I have already pre-ordered the fifth book in the series and can’t wait for the next round of Summerhill madness. This was a read it all in one sitting on the day it released sweet, sassy, sexy and, entertaining read– what else could you possibly be looking for in a contemporary romance?

It's a shame the author hadn't used a British editor and really nailed the terminology - I hate seeing the word pants in place of trousers, etc

Stay The Night is the fourth book in the Summerhill series by the Kate Perry.
Photographer Titania Summerhill was the elusive & and somewhat mysterious Summerhill sister. She’s smart, creative, and strong willed. Titania is close to Gigi but didn't have the best relationship with her other sisters and her mother.
When Titania is evicted from her flat, she unexpectedly finds herself living back at her childhood home the last place she ever wanted to be. Also to make matters worse, after refusing to date her mentor, she has found herself blacklisted no one will buy her photos. Her only hope to get her career back is to get reclusive British football star Ian MacNiven to agree to a photo essay.
“Her heart beat faster, not with fear, but with excitement”
For Ian MacNiven Football was his life, his passion, but a near-fatal accident has left him injured, and not sure if he will play again. He’s not a happy man, and he wants nothing to do with the media, and that includes Titania Summerhill.
“She’d somehow wiggled her way under his skin. He liked the way she gave as good as she got she verbally sparred with him, and that excited him”
Stay The Night was a fun, easy, lighthearted romantic read, about growth, understanding, change and acceptance, and for the most part I read it with a grin on my face. I like Titania and Ian and I enjoyed their interactions, both very stubborn, and seeing their love/ hate, relationship develop and grow into something more. I loved that Ian loves to read romance novels, and he has very good taste in the books ;)
“Whoever this Kate Perry was, her writing was entertaining”
Love seeing the rest of the Summerhill gang, and love that they always come together to help those close to them. I enjoyed the side story involving Niamh! She too was another great strong independent lady. Ian best friend Rowdy was great. Loved that he was there to kick him up the butt whenever he starts feeling sorry himself.
"Let me remind you, because it seems you’ve forgotten. We’re brothers, and brothers don’t leave each other behind on the field”
Overall, I enjoyed Stay The Night. Kate Perry is such a great storyteller, and I’m such a fan of Summerhill sisters. Loved the ending, and I’m looking forward to reading Once Upon a Dream Summer Welles’s story next.
If you’re looking for a sweet, fun, easy read that would leave you with a smile on your face, then this one or any Kate Perry’s books is just what you need.

Yet another romance from Kate Perry. This one was horrible... and hardy har har for Kate plugging herself in this book. And I've read ALL THE OTHERS so far.
This is about Titania, the youngest Summerhill and a photographer. Despite her success, she's banned from all the major pubs because her mentor, who has been sexually harassing her called all the editors and blackmailed them into banning her work. The only way out of it is if she can photograph the reclusive Ian who is hiding out and feeling sorry for himself after a devastating accident that renders him unable to play pro soccer. She's behind on her rent and evicted and now has to live with her mother in the mansion which eventually forces the relationship. THIS WAS THE WORST STORY LINE EVER. Ian's a selfish jerk and Titania can't seem to get herself out of situations that are inappropriate or unprofessional. She is probably the weakest in character of the Summerhills. And, spoiler alert, she doesn't even get the situation resolved herself, it takes Ian to do it. Why did the man need to rescue her???
The secondary story is about Niamh, the bartender at the Red Witch. I found her intriguing in the other books, so I was excited that she finally got a love interest. How disappointed was I when we learn NOTHING about him, except he's got a bunch of clubs and is attracted to her and he's thwarting her plans to buy the Red Witch, because he knows best. I found him to be a jerk, but apparently he has blue eyes and that's all it takes. Niamh is surrounded by bossy men who are a-holes and she's depicted as weak. I HATED THIS. I expected so much more and was really disappointed. NO, WAIT. THIS WAS THE WORST STORY LINE EVER.
And I was really hoping for a twist to the formulaic series... perhaps a third storyline involving Rowdy?? I found him fun, but he's only there to get Ian and Titania together. Then again, the way the other stories were written, I would bet the author wouldn't have done him justice.
The author could have been more inventive in Niamh's story: how about a tie in to the musicians from Laurel Heights?? a better connection with what's his face?? a new Red Witch somewhere else? perhaps the Summerhills could sell an antique and invest, keeping with the strong-woman business owner theme from the LH novels?

Titiana and Ian, here we have the youngest Summerhill sister the forgotten one in her mind and now the betrayed one. Titiana is a brilliant photographer is is gaining quite the reputation but when her mentor betrays her by having her banned from being able to publish her photo's anywhere all because she won't date him Titiana is devastated add to being evicted and her world seems to be crashing around her and worse of all the only place she has to turn is home to her family a family she would prefer to forget except for her sister Imogen she is her rock.
When Titana returns home she finds things are not how she remembered them at all can she really let go of the past and live here and now with her family and get to know everyone again her Mother is not how she remembers at all and neither are her sisters but Titana is just not sure she can let all the old hurts go, but what she finds out is she is not the only one hurting, so can old hurts turn to love now and a closer connection to family?

I love the Summerhills and Kate Perry books, and I find myself more and more attached to these characters with each book. Again, we got an adorable romance. This time the focus is on Tatania, the youngest Summerhill and Ian, a professional football player who is nursing a serious injury. Tatania is one of the more complicated Summerhill girls. She was the last born and is quite distant from all of her family, aside from Gigi. I loved seeing her walls fall as she crept closer and closer to the family circle. At the beginning of the story, Ian was in a very bad place until his awesome friend Rowdy came to get a fire going in him and Tatania came along to stoke the flames. Together, he and Tatania started to see the world in a different way. When the two of them were together, you couldn't help but smile. They were so cute.
If you are looking for a sweet romance, with strong family vibes, a fun cast of characters and a little sizzle, these books will fit the bill.

I love the Summerhill series by Kate Perry. The books in this series are always a fun, refreshing read. Stay The Night was no different.
Titania Summerhill has been blacklisted from her profession by a colleague and evicted from her flat. She is forced to move back into her childhood home with the family she has tried to avoid for years. Now, the only way to get her career back on track is to take pictures of the illusive soccer star Ian MacNiven. Ian is recovering from an injury and wants nothing to do with the media. Titania must somehow convince him to let her take his picture.
Stay The Night was the perfect summer read. It was fun, romantic and easy to get caught up in. I highly suggest it along with the rest of the series and the Laurel Heights series. The only thing I didn't like was the book ending! I wanted more and don't want to wait for book 5 until September!

Another heart warming tale
with each book I fall more in love with these wounded sisters. layer by layer each book lets us look through the looking glass into each soul. the patriarch of these girls wounded them horribly. it was through sheer perseverance, luck, and sisterhood of sorts that they have survived. some of the sisters were close, while others were loners....yet with each book they appear to be getting closer and closer as a whole. I rejoice with each win they attain! weep at every pain which comes their way. such a wonderfully magical family....they are blessed with unique, funny, kind and heartwarming friends who only look to help the Summerhill sisters. I look forward greatly to the next book in this series.

Superb writing, as usual. But darn, the characters are really sensational. I enjoy the dynamics and the way everything unfolds. Ian's subplot, in particular, strikes a chord. Life's unfair—you pick up the pieces, dust yourself off, and move on…and sometimes that involves making the most difficult decisions. I'm glad Ian isn't the completely forgiving type. I can definitely relate, and maybe that's why the book resonates with me. Even the B-plot is enjoyable, even if I have the same misgivings about the storyline as I have with Nodame Cantabile. But that's just the way I handle topics like insane talent and extreme pressure. :)

The fourth book in the Summerhill series follows Titania, a renowned photographer, who made a mistake that could cost her her career. Sleeping with the wrong guy (and subsequently brushing off any of his advances thereafter) has gotten her and her photos blacklisted from just about every publication worthy of her talent (and a decent paycheck).

Kate Perry always creates funny and interesting characters, and Titania and Cole did not disappoint. Titania is a fun but strong character who goes after what she wants, just like her sisters before her. I LOVED that Cole was a romance novel reader too… and the fun easter egg that he was reading one of Kate’s books.
If you have enjoyed the other Summerhill books, you’ll love this one too.

I think this one is my favorite of the series so far. I loved Portia's story but Titania's has a lot more growing and learning going on. How she uses her talent and medium of choice to explore and discover herself. Niamh side story is wonderful too but I feel it could have been a tad more meatier. I would definitely love to see more of her in future books in this series.

I love this story, it's win win around and despite adversity they both succeed, how stubborn is Mac and this stubbornness nearly ruins them both. Thank goodness for his sensible and equally stubborn best friend.

I could not put this down, this was by far my favorite of all the Summerhill series!! It was incredible and I was sad when it was over. Can't wait for the next one!!
